Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! We had a bit of rain overnight - not a lot, just enough to "refresh". Today will be mid 80s (more than 10 degrees "cooler" than the weekend!), less humid, and mostly sunny. It sure would be a lovely day to stay home and play in the garden! :)
Yesterday was not a day for getting very much done; but I did get my "main" rooms to where they're mostly clear of clutter. I still have a lot of various boxes of "stuff" to sort, but for now they're at least contained. Once all the rooms are clear and clutter-free, and the house is clean, the sorting part can wait. I'm so anxious to get back to sewing; and, I've got so many books to read. If I can't have summer off, doing things I enjoy is the next best thing! LOL!
Hopefully tonight's project will be taking things upstairs, since it should be at least a smidgeon cooler now. I hope! :)

Good Morning! Sunday June 7, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's clear and bright and already warm. It'll go to mid 90s today (maybe even close to 100!). There's a chance of rain tonight, which will be welcome even to watered plants.
Yesterday we got more done than expected. Jimmy had a class all day, so I dropped him off, picked up my niece and my friend, and we made the thrift shop rounds. We found a few great bargains (we are SO good at that -- too good!), but mostly did a lot of looking and dreaming. We picked up Jimmy from his class (he passed), and went for pizza. Later in the evening, when the sun was lower (still hot!), my friend got several things potted and we ran the sprinklers and soakers to get everything watered. Also, they helped me move the last "big" piece of furniture needed to get things in place, so I can start putting everything back in it's new home.
This morning we're taking my niece home, giving her some decorating ideas for her apartment, and then home. I will be doing laundry (dryer isn't working right, but in this weather I can put it on the line & it'll be dry in a very short time!), and working on once again getting all the clutter put away.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's actually quite pleasant out now, though it's going to warm up into mid 90s. I think it will be mostly sunny, though there is always that small chance of afternoon storms. Mostly, though, I'm planning on getting sprinklers going this evening. For now everything looks happy ... I want to keep them that way! :)
Last night was, as I expected, mostly lazy. I did work a bit on organizing some of my sewing supplies into more accessible drawers.
Today will be too hot for gardening, other than a few things that will get potted (or re-potted) late this afternoon. So it may as well be a fun day for prowling around flea markets and thrift shops ... we know all the ones that have a/c! LOL! I'll have to fit in some grocery shopping, finishing laundry, washing dishes ... you know, all that boring stuff that just doesn't go away! :)

Good Morning! Friday June 4, 2010
Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. While it's faintly hazy this morning, it will be mostly sunny later today. In fact, it will be quite hot ... low to mid 90s ... and humid. This should mean weekend plans won't be ruined (at least, not for "younger" people who can stand the heat! LOL!).
Last night the table got moved. It didn't end up where I thought it would ... but it's out of the way! And, the sewing table is partly in place. I have a lot more to do to finish getting the room re-organized, but at least I'm a big step closer. I watched some of Dance, and some reruns. I tried to do some laundry - my dryer is acting strange, so I guess it's time to call the repair man. Or use the clothesline! :)Today my niece is coming to visit, and I'm not sure what we'll get done tonight; probably not much but relaxing.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It seems more like mid summer than late spring these days ... today will be near 90, mostly cloudy and humid. Once again, those afternoon showers or storms could pop up. Yesterday we heard rumbles of thunder off and on all day, and it rained a bit (could always use more).
I got nearly everything moved for one furniture moving project. I have to get legs off a table in order to move it ... and that's where I ran out of energy! LOL! Hopefully tonight I'll finish it, along with the never-ending laundry. Last night I had forgotten about the new season of Dancing (SYTYCD); and I also remembered why I rarely watch the audition segments! But, when that's all that's on, it's easy to go and get other things done ... no idea about tonight! :)

Last night I went to the grocery store on the way home. I didn't get much of my sorting/organizing done (just a few small things). The bulk of my evening was spent with the time-consuming and annoying task of choosing plans and signing up for insurance, since my employer is changing carriers. It's done, and if my plans work out I won't have to do that again! :)
Tonight I hope to be back to working on getting furniture re-arranged. Between shows ending, and being out of town so much, I have no idea what's on TV tonight! LOL! Guess I'll find out ... hopefully nothing I especially want to watch. :)

Good Morning! Tuesday June 1, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. I can't believe it's JUNE already! Today will be mid 80s, mostly cloudy, and maybe more afternoon storms. I do hope so, the rain helps compensate (my garden) for all this heat. It may only be in my mind, but it seems spring has been unusually hot this year. But then, nothing has been "normal" this spring!
I didn't get everything done yesterday I hoped, but I did get a lot of it. I delivered a few things to my sister; did some shopping (searching for the "perfect" container to make a bigger filter for the fish pond - and found it!). The last bookshelves are in the house (not risking weather on the porch), although far from "in place". I did make a lot of progress on emptying areas that have to be moved around. Hopefully each evening I'll get more done, now that "the good shows" are done! LOL!
