Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It was pouring rain earlier, but now it just calm but overcast. It will be low 80s today, and probably stay cloudy all day. There may or may not be more showers, especially later in the afternoon.
Yesterday: I had an absolutely wonderful day. I left early, went to my sister's house, and then with her to pick up her daughter and fur-kid. Then we rode up to our brother's house, and with him and our sister in law, we all rode up into the mountains into VA. We explored a gorgeous mountain side home, and had lunch in "Mayberry". :) We ran into a little rain on the way home, but only one really strong downpour. I got back home again just at the edge of dark, in time for evening routine. :) I sure hope we get to do days like this more often.
Today: Because I woke up to "dark and gloomy", I've been dawdling a bit, trying to figure out what this day will bring. I know this afternoon I'll have to go pay the rent. Other than that, I'm not planning much. I don't function well on dark damp days, so I think I will try to find something constructive to do. Or else just read a lot! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's actually just barely light right now, but looks fairly clear. The forecast is for partly cloudy this morning into more cloudy by afternoon. It should be right around 90, and with a fair chance of afternoon storms or showers.
Yesterday: My day took a surprising twist. A friend asked me if I didn't want to go shopping! LOL! I did rush around and actually finish a few chores here first. Then I picked up my friend and we went to a local indoor flea market. That was fun, even if it was hot!
Today: It's very early because in a few minutes I'm leaving to go to my sister's house. I'm riding with her and her daughter to visit our brother and sister in law. I'm really looking forward to this day! I've managed to arrange a series of people to come in and out during the day to "check up" on DH and make sure he gets meals and meds, plus keep him company. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! So far it's bright and clear, and will probably be the same most of the day. The high will be low 90s - what the weatherman called a "typical summertime day". With the heat and humidity, there may be afternoon storms. Those mostly seem to miss my house!
Yesterday: Despite the heat, I ended up having a reasonably productive day. It took a bit longer than it should have to get myself in gear in the morning, though I did get all the "usual" stuff done. I got gas, then went to the grocery store. I hadn't planned to do a "major" shopping - but then, I was there, so why go back another time? LOL! Then I stopped by the furniture store, and the guys managed to get 2 small cabinets loaded into the car. Note I said "guys" - as in it took 2 of them to load; but only one old lady to unload! LOL!! After getting the cabinets in place, and all the supplies properly put away (lots more room than I thought - yay!), we went out to dinner. DH had a craving for wings, so we went to our favorite place.
Today: I've already been busy, doing a few things around the house and getting laundry started. Today I hope to be a bit more productive than I have been lately! My "big" project - well, besides getting the guest room back neat now that the chocolate stuff has a home - is get the Red/White/Blue put away and summer decorations out and on the tree! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, and will be mostly sunny today. We're still hot, low to mid 90s; and there may be clouds bringing afternoon storms. In general, it's "normal" summer weather for NC.
Yesterday: We ended up having a fairly busy day. First, the bug man came, sprayed for ants, fleas, and other assorted nasties. Then we went to town to join DS for lunch (Mexican! yum!). When we got home, I did a little bit of straightening. The PT came in the late afternoon. Then we topped the day off going to my friend's house for her son's birthday .. lots of good food, and some good laughs. I almost stayed awake to watch Olympics late! LOL!
Today: Today I have to (as usual) run errands. I have to go pick up a cabinet (found on sale - half price - plus, it's tax-free weekend; it will be perfect for storing chocolate supplies!). I never got by the grocery store, and still want to get some of the deli meat on sale. My *plan* is to spend the afternoon putting up laundry, putting away supplies, and getting the guest room neat again! We'll see how much I get done, right? :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's starting out a bit overcast, but not "dark". It'll probably clear a bit, and today will be low to mid 90s. There is of course the ever-present possibility of afternoon storms.
Yesterday: After DH's appointment, we got almost all the errands done ... just ran out of steam with it so hot. We didn't get home until mid afternoon; so DH took a nap, and I worked on decluttering a few hot spots. The evening was, of course, for watching Olympics!
Today: Any time now an exterminator is coming - good bye ants!! Later I'll take a load of trash, then go into town (deli meat is on sale!). This evening a friend is having a birthday party for her son; I hope any storms hold off until after that! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. We're warming back up a bit, going to low to mid 90s today. The sky (the little patch I can see) out my window looks pale, but clear. There is a chance, however, of afternoon storms again.
Yesterday: I didn't get much done in the morning, but we had a busy afternoon. DH had a doctor appointment, which took awhile because they were busy; but it went well. Then we went to Chik-Fil-A for a late lunch - along with thousands of other people! LOL! I made a quick stop in Wal-Mart (was able to find an item I couldn't find at the one nearer home), and we headed back home. Later in the evening a friend came by for a visit; and took 2 boxes of books home with her! Yay! Other than that, I stayed up way too late watching Olympics. :)
Today: This morning is another appointment. Hopefully it won't be a long one - you never really know. Then I'll have a few errands to take care of while we're in town (I know, too many different little towns to keep up with! LOL!). I hope I get home in time - and have some energy left - to take a couple of things out to the barn. And then, again, it will be a watching Olympics evening. I'm not normally "into" sports, but I really enjoy the Olympics!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's started out overcast and rainy, but I'm already seeing signs of brightening. It will be upper 80s today - practically refreshing! LOL! The forecast is for showers this morning, and again by late afternoon.
Yesterday: The Dish guy got here by mid morning, and didn't take long to have the TV back working (problem turned out to be water in the outside connection!). I had gotten a load of laundry done before he even got here (yay me!), and most of the trash was already in the car. I dropped off trash & recyclables at the dump, then picked up a friend. We had a minor "mishap" with the car - it overheated. I had checked water (as instructed), but didn't get the cap back on tight enough. The problem was quickly fixed (though a more permanent solution is in the works). So, we got some groceries, sat around awhile, then I took her home! LOL!
I watched Olympics again (and I admit, even though I watched the "spoilers" in the evening news, it was still exciting to watch!).
Today: DH has a doctor appointment in the early afternoon. This is a local doctor, not an all day trip. After his appointment, we're going 2 towns over to the nearest Chik-Fil-A. YES, we are going to eat there today! :) If it's not rainy, I might to some shopping in stores I don't normally get a chance to go to Or, we might just come on home. :) It's a wait-and-see what happens day! LOL!
