Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast is for "partly" cloudy ... must be a different part, because right now it's clear and bright! There may be clouds later, as they're calling for a slight chance of afternoon or evening showers. It'll be low 90s, so warm but still a nice southern August day.
Yesterday: I had a to-do list (as always), and actually got most of it done. In the afternoon I took trash to the dump, and got a few groceries. As soon as I got everything put up, I went to the grill for supper. Yes, I know, that sounds silly - most of the groceries I got were drinks and sandwich (lunch) stuff. I'm avoiding doing anything to create more dishes until I can get someone to fix my sink drain! (isn't that a great excuse! LOL!)
Today: A friend is coming over to help me get my pantry cabinet organized. I have a feeling I'll have a lot of food pantry donations by this afternoon! LOL! In the afternoon I'll have to run to town for a refill and to pick up an order. Tonight - I'll be working on (are you ready for this???) ... my Christmas Organization Notebook! Yep, it's *that* time already. I'll be ready on time - will you? LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, sunlight pouring in my window. I know it won't last, but today will be mostly sunny. The temps will be in the low 90s, but at least a bit less humid.
Yesterday: I actually found a tiny little supply of energy and got several cleaning projects done! Yay! I also finally changed out the tree to a summer theme; did some (*gasp*) ironing, and got my desk neat again. I watched most of the closing ceremonies last night - what a party! LOL!
Today: The cats were even more active than usual last night, so I'm still sleepy. That sounds to me like a good excuse to not get stuff done. :) I do need to take a load of trash by the dump, and do a few quick errands in town; but I'll be staying closer to home at least. Hopefully today I'll finish up the cleaning I got started yesterday. I'm also hoping for a nice quiet spell in the afternoon to do some more sewing. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's still faintly overcast; but the forecast for today is only partly cloudy off and on, and a small chance of afternoon showers. It will be in the upper 80s, which is almost "cool" for August! :)
Yesterday: I had a very busy and nice day. I got everything loaded up and actually arrived at the venue for the show early - but it was open, so I was the first one to get set up. It was a very good show, many vendors and lots of shoppers. I did better than the past shows - at least I made back my costs! LOL! Plus - totally amazing to me - I won one of the raffles, so $150 worth of gifts from other vendors. Nice!! Shortly after I got home the Mary Kay lady brought my order by; and maybe 10 minutes after that - the rain came! I was too hot and tired to really accomplish much (haven't even unpacked yet). I did run up to the gril for "burgers and dogs" for supper.
Today: I hope (as usual) to have a productive day. I'm off to a good start (which is why I'm so late sending this out). The kitchen floor is mopped, dishes washed, a 2nd load of laundry going, and a week's pills counted. Then I had to rest! LOL! I have several more things on my list that I hope I get to today. But since I've already gotten some done - if I don't - well, there's always tomorrow! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's only just starting to be light out, but it seems to be fairly grayish. The forecast is for cloudy all day and probably showers or storms off and on, especially in the afternoon. At least the temps will be down, in the mid 80s.
Yesterday: It was a busy day, and I actually got several important things accomplished! (you may continue reading when you get over the shock! LOL!) Before anyone got to my house, I gave it an overall decluttering; I got the guest room as neat as I can for now; and I (**gasp**) vacuumed! The Mary Kay lady came by (I hope she never finds out I was calling her an Avon lady! LOL!), and I bought a new lipstick. The bug man came, gave a really good spray again where some ants were still coming in (not the kitchen at least). I took a load of trash to the dump; got all my supplies packed for the show; and made a batch of brownies.
Today: I think we all know I am NOT a morning person! :) But I'm up, the brownies are cut and in a container (samples), the cold stuff is packed, and DH's lunch is made and in the fridge for him. As soon as I shower and then load the car, I'm off for another day of adventure. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's overcast again, and today could bring showers and storms. It'll be *cooler*, in the upper 80s to low 90s (depending on rain and/or cloud cover).
Yesterday: I still didn't push myself enough, but I did get several small chores accomplished. I spent time doing something I rarely do - daytime TV! The Olympics were showing rhythmic gymnastics, which I find quite beautiful to watch. In the evening I went on a "quick" (not quick enough! LOL!) shopping trip. I got a necessary evil - a scale (DH is *supposed* to track his weight). If you're rude enough to STEP on one - they're rude back! LOL!
Today: This might be a pretty busy day; which will be good, since otherwise I'd not get anything done on such a cloudy day. :) I plan to try to get a bit more cleaning done this morning, and make a run to take trash to the dump. A lady is coming in the afternoon to give me a facial (and *try* to sell me stuff that's way too expensive!). The bug man is coming later for a follow up. The gardener was supposed to come today, but I think it might be too rainy. And, in all that, I need to get my supplies organized for a show tomorrow l I just got in a bunch a new products - it's going to be hard to decide what to take. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The clouds are gone, even if it's only temporary. Today will be low to mid 90s, and mostly clear at least until afternoon. The "usual" afternoon storms are possible of course.
Yesterday: DH had his "routine" appointment in the morning. We stopped to pick up a few refills, then got Subway sandwiches to take home for lunch. The afternoon was quiet, and I did some laundry, a tiny bit of decluttering, and read some. In the evening I helped a friend do a little cleaning and packing for a move.
Today: I've gotten a little earlier start this morning than usual, so I hope I'll be productive. I need to finish putting the red/white/blue decorations upstairs, clean the guest room (again - funny how it keeps getting messiest when I never have guests! LOL!), and get some prep work done for a vendor show this weekend. Hopefully, I'll find time (and motivation?) to sew some and read some. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's overcast, but not "dark" this morning. It's been raining but seems to have stopped for now. Today will be warm again, around 90 - possibly higher, but cloud cover could also keep it lower. There's a fairly good chance of afternoon storms again.
Yesterday: I didn't get as much done as I would have preferred, but I did push to at least have the basics covered. I did go pay the rent, too - that's a "biggie"! LOL! Once again, I stayed up too late watching Olympics (and still fell asleep before some of what I'd liked to have seen).
Today: DH has an appointment this morning. After that, we'll stop by the drugstore to pick up refills, and go through town to see DS. I think possibly later (because I don't "function" well on rainy days - and that's as good of an excuse as I can come up with! LOL!)
An additional note this morning: my niece recently alerted me that my chocolate website address was incorrect on FaceBook. I corredted it, so will also share here: www.mydcdsite.com/bettyhayes ... feel free to go online and order anything you;d like! :)
