Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. As usual, outside my window is in contrast to the forecast! LOL! Although it appears overcast, today should be mostly sunny and in the low 90s. There very little chance of rain. Yesterday late afternoon strong storms passed over, even dropping a lot of rain at my house; apparently those clouds are lingering a bit, but should clear on out soon. :)
Yesterday: I had a very busy day. I got over half of the cleaning done that I wanted, and almost all of my fall decorating done. My house just looks so colorful now - this is the only time I actually like all this awful paneling! LOL! We also worked on the sink; but a really long "snake" still won't clear the clog. Great excuse to eat out, right? :)
I now have a beautiful new storm door to the back hall - I can leave it open for light to come in without letting the a/c air out. Plus, the cats are happy to have their viewing post back! LOL!
Today: I'm meeting a friend in town for an early lunch and some shopping (flea market and/or thrift shops - my favorite places to go! Yay!). I hope to have a small window to maybe get a bit more done in the living room; but I'll also need to bag up trash. This evening I will go visit my hostess for tomorrow's party, to help with some last minute stuff and encouragement - and then come home and make goodies for her party. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's overcast and humid, but we only have a few days of "summer" left. Today should be around 90ish, with a good chance of afternoon rain. According to the local weather guru, it is now "climatologically" fall. :)
Yesterday: The trip to the eye clinic took up all afternoon, of course; but I'm so grateful to have had a driver, so it was quicker than it might have been. And the Duke clinic is Much faster than the "specialist" I went to earlier in the year! So, I was home in time to fix supper, and have a bit of a visit with a friend & some of the "bonus grands". Nice. :)
Today: We know I don't function as well on cloudy days, but I'm really going to try to catch up some of what needs to be done this week. A friend is supposed to come over this afternoon and install a new storm door (hoping I got the right door! LOL!). I need to make this be a busy and productive day!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Even though the forecast is, again, for mostly cloudy, it's actually fairly bright out. I can see dark "smudges". It's going to be upper 80s, and pretty good chances of afternoon storms. Hurricane season has hit peak now, and there's an awful lot of activity "out there" ... but doesn't look, so far, like much that will effect us other than some coastal high tides.
Yesterday: It was not a great day, but I still got a few things done. Any small progress is still progress! DH's appointment took unusually long - nearly 2 hours (normally nearer half an hour; and most if it was just waiting). The bug man came, but had *forgotten* to tell me we had to be out of the house - including cats - for 3 hours. So after some discussion, we decided he'd keep to his regular house and yard schedule; and I'll vacuum more often to control any stray fleas. :)
We had a bit of a "scare" about scheduling issues, but they got resolved. I went to town in the afternoon and paid the rent; and later got some supper from the grill. :)
Today: I have (finally) an eye appointment at Duke, with a specialist. I hope I get some sensible answers!! I've been a little busy this morning, trying to do anything I felt like should be done before I'm gone all afternoon.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today will be "cooler" - only upper 80s. The forecast was for starting out mostly cloudy, but it's quite bright out now so it appears the cloud cover is already starting to thin out. There's only a small chance of showers by afternoon.
Yesterday: While I didn't do as much as I hoped (do I ever?), I did get quite a lot of small projects done, and a bit of work on bigger projects (living room and sewing). I did pay some bills on line, and set up several appointments and plans. The day wasn't a "total" loss, even though on the lazy side. :)
Today: This morning DH has his weekly appointment. After that we'll stop by for refills. This afternoon the "bug man" is coming for a follow up. We haven't actually seen any fleas; and the pills I got from the vet seem to have worked, as the cats don't scratch all the time now. But he's going to do a bit more spraying "just in case", and then I'll follow that up with the dreaded vacuuming! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Although the forecast today is for mostly cloudy, it's late morning now and still clear and bright here. It should be around 90, maybe low 90s; maybe less depending on cloud cover. There's the ever present chance of afternoon showers as the clouds move in.
Yesterday: I know y'all will be amazed to hear that I did not do everything on my list! LOL! Any farther outside stuff just has to wait for cooler weather. You'd think by now I'd "remember" that September can be as hot (or hotter) than August. I got the "basics" done, but since I got energetic early in the day, I fizzled out sooner. However, DS did go to Lowe's and pick up a storm door. Now I just have to get it installed! :)
Today: I really don't know what I'll get done today. I sort of think it'll be mostly (besides daily routine stuff) working on updating some lists, and some sewing. This week's project room is the living room ... which actually needs nothing except ordinary (deep) cleaning. Well, actually (looking at calendar) - I will work on getting (yuck) vacuuming done today - especially since I left it out yesterday! LOL!

Good morning!t's a beautiful morning. Though the forecast is - again - for partly to mostly cloudy, at the moment it's only faintly hazy, with bright sun peeking through. It'll be low 90s today, quite humid, and chances of showers later.
Yesterday: My day didn't turn out anything like I expected. I ended up spending most of it waiting - evidently I misunderstood what someone else was planning to do. I didn't get the door I was hoping for; but at the very end of the day, I did get a new-to-me chair, for a bargain price, which is quite nice. It was very late then, so we went to the chicken-and-barbecue place for a late dinner.
Today: I only have a small bit of "tweaking" on last week's project, the porch - but it's much too hot and humid for that today. So, today will be a bit of catch-up cleaning, a few projects (where I had to move things around to accommodate the new chair), and hopefully keep going on sewing projects.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast says "partly to mostly cloudy" .. but right now, it's clear and bright, and humid! It will be mid to upper 90s today, and chance of afternoon showers. Summer is a long way from over here! :)
Yesterday: The day was longer, but not as busy as I anticipated. The doctor's office was running way behind, so a very large part of the afternoon was just sitting and waiting. Once we got home, neither of us felt like doing anything .. so he napped and I sewed! LOL!
Today: I'm not sure yet, but it's looking like this might be a busy day. I'm sort of waiting for a call to say DS is going to take me (has a truck) to get a few things. I may have someone coming over this afternoon (wait and see on that). Beyond that - I'm just not sure. Meantime, of course, there is always laundry and dishes and cleaning waiting to be done! :)
There are 116 days until Christmas. Just in case you wanted to know. :)
