Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. There's more mist this morning, but also hard shadows. It's still hot here, today will be upper 90s; maybe even triple digits where I am. At least the humidity is still low. It appears we'll continue in our record-breaking string of days in the 90s for at least this week.
Last night I did very little (needed to unwind after a very stressful day at work); but I did sew some! Yay! Perhaps I'll also sew tonight - if I can stay awake. Has anyone ever tried crate-training a cat? LOL!!

Good Morning! Monday August 30, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The little bit of mist this morning only seems to be near the ground ... giving the trees the odd effect of the trunks dissappearing into the mist, but the tops are dusted with gold. Today we'll be back in the mid 90s and sunny; but with lower humidity so it won't feel quite so hot.
Yesterday was one of the laziest days I've had in a really long time. It didn't take long to get dishes cleaned up and put away (large serving bowls and trays), or to get sheets and towels washed and dried. Beyond that ... I read, I watched TV, I napped! LOL!
Today it's back to work ... counting today, 11 more Mondays! :) Tonight I'll catch up "regular" laundry. Maybe. For sure I will do some sewing.

Good Morning! Sunday August 29, 2010
Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's clear and bright, and at the moment quite comfortable. It's supposed to be mid to upper 80s today and sunny.
Yesterday started out quite busy. I got some baking done early, and finished up what cleaning I wanted to get done. My niece got here around 11:30 (she drove down from Richmond), and we had a lovely visit. Since I see her so rarely, that was quite a treat. By late afternoon, my brother and sister-in-law arrived; and later my son & his family. So there were 9 family members (and we really miseed the other 6 who weren't able to join us), plus 4 friends who joined us (at various times). We had WAY more food than we needed. Even after sending a lot home with family, we won't have to cook for several day! Yay! :)
This morning the neighbor's little boy came over wanting to target shoot in the back yard. My niece and Jimmy went out there ... nice that it's comfortable out there right now! Sadly, she has to get back home, so is nowor and poet Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. in 1809

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. As is beginning to seem "normal", it's starting out misty; but it's bright, and I can see "hard shadows" of the trees. It should be a perfectly gorgeous day, mid to upper 80s and mostly sunny. I have company coming, so for once am very glad of no rain in the forecast! :)
Yesterday was a wonderfully productive day. With some help, several major projects got completed (or mostly done). This morning I'm doing a bit of "last minute" cleaning and baking. Later today a niece is coming for her first ever (much too short) weekend visit. I'm so excited about that. Then this afternoon several family members are joining us for visiting, food, target shooting, food, and fun. Oh, and food. LOL!

Good Morning! Friday Augsut 27, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. There is again that morning mist, but it's very bright. It should quickly burn off; today will be partly cloudy (but with very little chance of rain), and around 90ish. Yesterday was a lot warmer than we expected, but still a very nice day.
I got most of my errands run (including, finally, groceries! LOL!), and some major cleaning done. There were things I didn't get done, but I'm hoping to get to them today (another vacation day).
I've already got laundry going, and in just a few minutes will be putting a cake in the oven (trying to do that before the day heats up too much for the oven!). Then I've got more cleaning to do, a few quick errands (different town today), and, hopefully, will finish my chairs project! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's a little misty, but bright; and the forecast is for partly cloudy and low 90s. We have a small chance of showers, but mostly it's going to dry out for the next few days. The rain is always welcome; but now we need dry just long enough to cut grass and weed the gardens! :)
I still didn't get to the grocery store last night. We had company, and my friend came over to help me with some things. She brought me a heavy duty stapler so I can work on the chairs (finished another one!). I did get a bit more decluttering and organizing done.
Today is a vacation day, and it's going to be busy. I have errands to run this morning, an appointment at 1:00, and then the grocery shopping. Later I plan to do some baking, work on chair seats, and more cleaning. Busy, busy! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's pale gold out, becoming brighter. Though the forecast is for morning cloudy, it looks to be already clearing. Yesterday we had wonderful all day rain, the good soaking-in kind (in addition to some really heavy downpours!). Today it'll clear by afternoon, and be mid 80s. Gorgeous!
I had a slight car problem yesterday (turned out to be just a battery terminal), made me very late getting home (plus didn't get to the grocery store yet). I tried to make up for lost time ... I did manage to get several things knocked off my "to do" list; or at least get a start on them. :) I still have the chair project to finish (need to borrow a heavy-duty stapler!).
Tonight I'll try again to get the grocery shopping done, and work on a few decluttering projects. Good thing TV is mostly reruns! LOL!
