Good morning! It's beautiful morning. It seems like we waited longer this year, but it's now that wonderful time of year I love so much ... mildly warm days, cool nights, and so many gorgeous things in bloom! Today will be low 70s, clear and sunny.
Yesterday: I usually have a hard time changing plans with short notice. But, I didn't have much planned except TV (quiet plans! LOL!); so when I got a last minute chance to do something, I took it. I met my DS, DDIL, DGS, and DGD at a corn maze! It was just a perfect day for being outside, and it was a lot of fun. And ... we found all 12 "markers", and were only there about 2 hours. I did get most of the other things done I had planned, so it was a really nice day.
Today: This will still be a quiet day. I'm not going to try to "catch up" ... nothing but routine cleaning to do. And of course, the never-ending laundry. I have some "easy" projects to tackle, such as gluing another chair, pruning a plant (that Maggie thought it was fun to climb - one of the reasons she is currently confined to the kitchen), assembling the new chair, and maybe cleaning the clutter under the kitchen sink. :)

Good Morning! Saturday October 30, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear and seasonably mild. Today will be upper 60s and mostly sunny. It's just a lovely fall day.
Yesterday: We had a great time, though it was a long day. My friend, her son, my niece and I first went to the Farmer's Market. It is a wonderful place to go in the fall! There is so much yummy fresh produce, flowers, pumpkins; the weather was cool enough to be comfortable walking around; and going on a weekday meant not quite such a crowd to navigate! It was all so colorful and smelled so good. I came home with tomatoes, snap beans, and apple cider. Then we went across town to the "re-store" (a habitat store). I'm so excited ... I've been wanting ceiling fans for several rooms, but at $80 to $100 and up, I just couldn't do it (at least, not for a rental house). So, I found THREE perfect fans (with light fixtures) for UNDER $60 - that's totall for all 3!! Woo Hoo!! Now I just have to get someone to install them for me! LOL! Then we decided it was time to eat, and I made the misake of getting "caught" in rush hour traffic. Yikes!! Now I remember why we haven't moved back "to town". Anyway, we finally reached a cafeteria, had a nice supper, and then walked around a shopping center a bit. There were several unique stores, and I even managed to do a bit of Christmas shopping!
Today: I will be playing "catch up" ... slowly and quietly. DH rode down to GA and back (a full 24 hours) to watch our grandson play his last football game. He'll be sleeping all day! I have several things lined up to work on ... including vegging out in front of the TV for some afternoon HGTV! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! All the clouds have moved out, it's bright and clear ... and very cool! Today will only get to the low 60s. And tonight it will go down into the 30s! Wow, what a change ... better make sure all the plants that stay outside are protected. We've had a fair amount of rain lately, and lots of flowers are blooming today.
Yesterday: I got a bit more clearing done, and some laundry. I got a new desk chair out of the box ... but will wait for help assembling it. It may be a mistake ... if I'm actually comfortable sitting here (computer and sewing machine), I may never leave! LOL!
Today: Another vacation day ... I have quite a few to take before the end of the month! It's SO nice to sleep "late"! (7:00 is late if you're used to 6:00!!). Later on I'm picking up a friend and a niece, and we're going to the Farmer's Market. We sure have a perfect day for that! We may check out some other places since we're going all the way to "the big town"! :)

Good Morning! Thursday October 28, 2010
Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's still dark out, with more left over cloudy. Last night a string of strong storms moved across the state; we got more rain, but none of the storms. There may be a few this morning, but mostly it will clear to partly cloudy and around 80 by this afternoon. The storms are a natural by-product of this unseasonably warm weather. I think by tomorrow it's supposed to get back closer to "normal".
Yesterday: We didn't end up going out, the weather was too "iffy". I managed to clean a fairly good size chunk of my room, that always seems to accumulate clutter.
Today: Now that I've cleared room, I plan to try to assemble a new desk chair. I'm not very "mechanical"! LOL! So, hopefully I can manage this. Plus, more good shows to watch tonight! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's still either cloudy or dark out .. have you noticed how early morning comes this time of year? LOL! Yesterday we tied a record high for the date at 81, and today will probably set a new record at upper 80s. It's very warm and muggy this morning, but will be breezy and partly sunny by afternoon. We had rain off and on yesterday, and maybe some more this afternoon.
Yesterday: I ran a lot of errands yesterday, both at lunch time and after work. By the time I got home and put up groceries (last stop), I just didn't much care if anything else got done ... so it didn't. :)
Today: We may go on a shopping excursion tonight for DH's birthday present (from last week); or, it may wait until the weekend. I've pretty much got things put away from the weekend, but a few hot-spots are piling up again, so maybe I'll get to a bit of decluttering.

Good Morning! Tuesday October 26, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Or at least, it will be when it's daylight! LOL! It's darker and darker, plus some lingering clouds. It's supposed to be lower 80s today, and breezy - blowing away most of the clouds by afternoon. Yesterday was warm and rainy; several storms moved through, way on into the night. Lovely rain, no more watering for awhile anyway.
Yesterday: I discovered a lot of left-over tired! LOL! But, I managed to unpack, do 2 loads of laundry, and a mega-shopping spree. It was interesting ducking in and out of stores between showers (and waiting for computers to come back on line because the power kept blinking!).
Today: It's back to work, a couple of errands after work, and then, hopefully, back to some sewing with good TV tonight. :)

Good Morning! Monday October 25, 2010
Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's extraordinarily warm for late October, upper 70s; close to 80. It's very cloudy and damp this morning, and looks to be a rainy day with maybe even storms by afternoon. We need the rain, and other than the strangely warm day, it is a "normal" fall day.
Yesterday: It was hard to say so many good-byes again, but so lovely to have had such a good weekend. I got to meet a "long-lost" cousin and his family, which I enjoyed very much. We hung around visiting family until early afternoon, but did finally have to head home. We took a "scenic detour" ... such a gorgeous day!!. It was right at dark when we got home, too tired to do anything. It sure was nice to come home to a clean house!
Today: I'm very glad I took today as another vacation day. I got to sleep late (even Maggie was content to behave!), and take my time getting laundry done and unpacking done. I'm going on a shopping excursion later, if it's not too rainy. Mostly though I hope to just get rested before going back to work tomorrow. :)
