Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's overcast, but not "heavy" (not dark and gloomy). It'll be mostly cloudy today but with very small chances of showers. However, it'll be weirdly warm, nearly 70. Perhaps a last gasp of fall, before temps plunge the rest of the week.
Yesterday: While I didn't get as much done as I hoped (do I ever?), we got a lot done. We probably would have gotten even more done if we hadn't been side tracked by a brief shopping excursion. Oops. And of course, my morning got off to a slow start waiting for the gas to be delivered!
Today: I have a huge list of things to accomplish today. I have to get the house at least neat if not completely decorated, get some cleaning done, get laundry caught up, and pack for a 5 day trip. Woo Hoo! :)

Good Morning! Monday November 29, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. I suspect we need rain, doesn't seem like we've gotten much for a long time; but today is bright and clear so far. It is supposed to be partly sunny, and upper 50s or maybe even low 60s. I hope for the warmer end, to get the rest of the outside decorations up today.
Yesterday: I got a lot done, but fizzled. I ran out of gas - figuratively and literally! LOL! Once the hands get cold, it's hard to do much, but I managed for awhile. Then I just wrapped up and watched a Christmas movie! :)
Today: I have several errands to run in town, and then that outside stuff this afternoon. Tonight I will work more on inside decorating. I also still have sewing to finish; I did some yesterday, but had to stop last night. Some day I'm going to manage to be organzied! LOL!

Good Morning! Sunday November 28, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear; but will be chilly again, low 50s. This is (more or less) what it's *supposed* to be like in late November. I'm not crazy about cold, of course; but we need all the seasons.
Yesterday: I got a busy start to the day, and got a lot of things done. By mid afternoon "the kids" got here, and we got the big tree assembled and lit (and someday I'm going to splurge on a big pre-lit!! LOL!). Everyone worked on decorating it - until we ran out of hooks, and the grands got bored! :) When it got dark, we went to see the lights. It wa nice and cold, just like it should be, and we rode the little "train" through the light park; and then went in the candy store. It was a lovely afternoon and evening!
Today: I plan to finish up several projects and work on sewing, even though I've gotten a very late start. I sure slept well! LOL! I hope to get most of the inside decorating finished, and get a lot done on the sewing I had hoped to finish by today.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Yesterday's clouds and rain have moved on, and today will be clear and bright. It's also a lot colder ... low 50s ... which is much more "seasonable". I'm trying telling myself that the reason I'm dragging out Christmas decorating is because it's been so warm. :)
Yesterday: Our shopping trip was successful in that we got what we wanted, and found a lot more good bargains. Then we got a little bit more tweaking and decluttering done here; though we were so tired, we had to stop early. Still, several of the trees are "tweaked" and decorated; more of the outside stuff is placed and lit; most of the nutcracker collection has found homes; and there is a blank spot for the big tree and working space nearby.
Today: When family gets here ... not sure when ... we'll put up and decorate the "big" tree. So far I've gotten dishes done, bathroom cleaned, and laundry started. In a few minutes I'll take trash by the dump and go to the grocery store (was too tired yesterday! LOL!). It's going to be another busy day, and I'm looking forward to it! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning, though still quite early. Today will be a strange mix of weather. Once the sun comes up, it will be mostly cloudy and possibly damp at times. The early part of the day will be unseasonably warm, maybe even low 70s; but by afternoon when a front comes through it might get very cool.
Yesterday: Being a holiday, I was lazy. I did get some cleaning, laundry, and a bit of decorating done. I also worked on gift wrapping and sewing. We went out to eat, but not the "fancy" place we'd originally planned. I watched the Macy's parade, and 2 Christmas movies! :)
Today: A "last-minute" decision was made to do the shopping scene today. We will be done with that very early, and try to finish the outside decorating (not much left) before the front passes and it gets too cold to work outside. Then we'll get a lot of the inside work done ... it's mostly down to the "fun stuff" now, getting out collections.

Yesterday: Being a holiday, I was lazy. I did get some cleaning, laundry, and a bit of decorating done. I also worked on gift wrapping and sewing. We went out to eat, but not the "fancy" place we'd originally planned. I watched the Macy's parade, and 2 Christmas movies! :)
Today: A "last-minute" decision was made to do the shopping scene today. We will be done with that very early, and try to finish the outside decorating (not much left) before the front passes and it gets too cold to work outside. Then we'll get a lot of the inside work done ... it's mostly down to the "fun stuff" now, getting out collections.

Good Morning! Thursday, November 25, 2010
Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's actually gray out, but not "dark"; it'll be cooler, only around 60, and mostly cloudy with not much chance of anything more than a few sprinkles.
Yesterday: Since today (and tomorrow) are holidays, yesterday was my last day at work, but I'm not "officially" retired until after tomorrow. It feels strange ... well, actually, nothing feels any different. LOL! I had an errand to run after work; and then DH decided he was tired of left-over turkey, so we went out for a chicken sandwich. I got a little bit more done on my sewing, and that's about all.
Today: My original plan was to watch a parade, maybe a movie, do some decorating, and go out to dinner. I have a feeling that plan will change. I think I may have to cook dinner, though it certainly won't be a turkey feast. I'll still get to watch the special things ... I've already got the parade (pre-coverage) tuned in. Whatever we do, it will be a relaxing day.
It is Thanksgiving Day in the US, and I am ever so thankful for my family, my friends, and this wonderful country I am so priviledged to live in. I pray for health, happiness, and safe travel for all of my readers and their loved ones!
