Good morning! It's a beautiful morning!  It is just sparkling bright today, and will be in the low 70s!

Yesterday: We shopped til we dropped! LOL!  A friend took DH shopping (very unusual occurence!!), and another friend and I went to an outlet mall.  We had planned to see the trees display, but it closed too early (will try tomorrow).  It was a successful but exhausting day!

Today: I only have to go out for a brief trash-and-taxi run, so I'm really hoping for some significant progress in the house. I have decorating, cleaning, and sewing to catch up on. I don't know how well my energy will hold up after such a busy weekend; but at least the motivation is there! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  It's a little overcast, but not "stormy".  Today will be upper 60s, so nice and warm; and the sun will probably show up more than not.

Yesterday: It was a very busy day.  I got a few things done around the house; then went to town.  I met the lady who gave me my prize - a brand new Kindle Fire! Wow!!  Then I got groceries and came home.  I got the dialysis set up, and a casserole made.  DH's son, and the kids, came over.  His girlfriend and I went to see a TSO concert.  All I can say is WOW.  Not at all what I expected, and totally amazing.  And because we waited in line a long time afterwards for autographs, I was out way past my bedtime! LOL!

Today: I'm trying to "regroup", but running slow. :)  A friend and I are going to see a Festival of Trees (dozens of decorated trees!!), and then do some shopping at the outlet mall.  Even though I'm not completely finished with things (decorating, wrapping) as I'd hoped to be by now, this weekend is just for some fun Christmas things! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Even though the nights are now quite cold, we're having some lovely days.  Today will be low 60s and sunny - perfect! :)

Yesterday: I had another busy day.  In the morning I ran several errands, some last minute things needed to decorate.  In the afternoon I worked on things in the house, my friend worked on the yard.  The outside is not 98% done!!  

Today: I've already been busy this morning, getting a bit of cleaning and decluttering done.  This afternoon I'm meeting someone to pick up a prize I won (Yay!), then groceries.  Tonight my BSD (I just made that up! LOL!  "Bonus Step Daughter") is taking me to a TSO concert!!!  I am SO excited about that,  It's going to be a fun evening for sure. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  We're into a warming trend again and today will be low 60s.  It will also be sunny, so a lovely fall day!

Yesterday: I stayed busy, but didn't accomplish much.  Well, I did what had to be done ... and I did get all cards and out of town gifts mailed.  Come to think of it - that done before December is great! LOL!  I worked a bit on decorating, and got a few more packages wrapped.  And I made some progress on the next sewing project.  Wow, I guess I actually did accomplish a lot! LOL!

Today: I have to go out this morning to pick up some components to complete my outside decorations.  Then I hope to spend a great deal of this lovely day finishing up outside.  I won't be completely done inside by December as I'd hoped; but I'm very close! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today will be mid 50s, but clear and sunny.  In the near future we have some warmer temps coming!!

Yesterday: I didn't do everything on my list (big surprise, right? LOL!) .. but I got the most important things done.  When I got to the point that everything was frustrating me, it was time to stop.  But last night I completed another sewing project! :)

Today: DH has his regular weekly nurse appointment.  After that we'll have to pick up meds (yesterday's doctor ordered 3 new ones.  How nice.), pick up an order in town, and then head for the post office.  I'm actually getting Christmas cards AND out of town gifts mailed today! YAY! LOL

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's clear now and will be mostly sunny all day.  The high will be mid 50s, which is chilly but not "cold".  

Yesterday: My errands ended up taking more time than I expected, but I still managed to get a few things done. Very few! LOL!  Still, anything done is still progress, of sorts. And, I finished one of my sewing projects. :)

Today: DH has one of the "all-day" appointments; but for a change, I get out of going. His son is driving, so I will have the house to myself for a few hours to try to finish (or nearly) decorating, and get some basic cleaning done. The down side, of course, is that I miss out on all that reading (waiting) itme.  But it's worth it! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. The clouds are back, but it's not raining. There might be scattered showeres in the afternoon.  Today will be a lot chillier, only in the low to mid 50s.

Yesterday: I had a surprisingly busy day.  The supply truck came very early; my SIL came over for a visit and to get pecans.  My friend showed up to help work on yard decorations; and before I knew it, the school bus was here!  Since I knew cold was coming, I told the kids to play outside while they could.  I got a few things done inside, but most of the outside decorating is done.  Unless I add more! LOL!

Today: I never got to the pharmacy yesterday, so will have to do that.  Otherwise, I'm working on catching up in the house.  I have laundry to finish, wrapping to do.  I hope to get things completely in order and decluttered, so later in the week I can decide what else I want to get done. By the first of December, my house will be ready for Christmas - and then I can just do fun things! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, and supposed to be like this all day.  We'll have mild temps, low to mid 60s today - and dropping into 50s the rest of the week.  

Yesterday: While it was not a productive day, and not at all what I thought, yesterday was a very nice day.  DH and I went out to dinner (we had planned this 2 years ago -things just kept happening to interfere), and it was lovely.  We were even given a complimentary slice of cheesecake with fudge sauce!! I made a quick stop at Lowe's for some hardware to use in some of the yard decorating; and then we went to DH's sister's house for a "quick" visit.  We were there 4 hours!!!  So, even though I have a lot of catching up still, it was a very nice - and fairly restful day!

Today: It's looking like this will be a busy day.  The supply delivery has already come and gone.  Laundry is going.  SIL is coming to pick up pcans, and give DH a haircut.  My friend is coming to help finish getting the outside decorations done. I need to go to town to pick up some refills.  And all of that has to happen before 4:00 when the school bus gets here! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's clear and bright - and everything outside has a coating of frost!  Today will only be around 50 - very chilly - but sunny!

Yesterday: It was an exhausting day, but a lot of fun.  I went to the mall with 2 friends (so I didn't have to drive!), and we walked the entire place, both levels.  We didn't actually do much shopping (I found one gift, and got DH some jelly beans); but it was fun just looking and maybe getting some ideas.  The crowds and traffic were lighter than expected, so it wasn't so *frantic*.  There were even carollers at the mall! Nice. :)

Today: I need to catch up a few things.  And I think this afternoon DH and I are going out for an early dinner/late anniversary.  Otherwise - I'm saving up energy and hoping for a burst of motivation tomorrow! LOL!

Just so you know - Christmas is one month from today!!  Will you be ready?  This year, I believe I'll be ready by next week!! Yay! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  There's not a trace of a cloud, and it will be nice and sunny all day.  It will also be cold!  The temp *might* get as high as 50.  Well, it's late November, so time to start - a little - feeling like winter. 

Yesterday: I had a busy and productive day.  It was warm out, and a huge amount of the outside decorating got done.  Several areas are completed and the lights on timers.  The last remaining areas are at least laid out (and I know I do NOT need any more extension cords this year! LOL!

Today: I always feel a little trepidation about leaving the house for a day.  But, DH is doing quite well.  So a friend is taking me shopping - to the *big mall*!!  I'm excited, I haven't been there in yeaers.  This will be a very tiring but fun day. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Today will be just wonderful - upper 60s, mostly sunny, a little breezy.  It may be the last pretty (or at least warm) day for another spell, so I hope to enjoy it!

Yesterday: I hope everyone had a Fantastic Thanksgiving.  Ours was great.  The house was clean, food was ready on time.  We had 2 out of 3 sons here, half the grands, and half the "bonus" grands! LOL!   Some of them had to leave for yet another family obligation.  The rest stayed late - played some silly games, and then we rode down to the Lights (yes, again - I never get tired of them!).

Today: I hope to take advantage of this nice weather and finish getting the outside decorations in place and the lighting connected.  I have a few inside chores to attend to ... and a huge list of "still to be done" items; but it'll be Sunday before I tackle that list.  Today is for outside ... and eating leftovers! :)

Oh yeah ... not that we get to "celebrate" ... but DH and I have been married 33 years today.  And we haven't killed each other - amazing! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's clear and bright, and will be low 60s.  It is easy to be Thankful for this lovely fall day.

Yesterday: I didn't get evrything done I had hoped to do; but since I never actually expect to do it *all*, getting most done is pretty good! LOL!   I'm not done with decorating, but managed to declutter what I'm working on.  And best of all I managed to get in a family visit, which is something I treasure greatly! :)

Today: Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends - and I am thankful for your friendship, all of you, where ever in the world you live.  I'm busy this morning with some last minute cleaning (although nearly everyone who will be here today has at one time or another lived with us - and seen it far, far worse than it is now! LOL!).  I'll be putting a turkey breast in the roaster in a little while, and everything else is fairly simple.  The kids and grands - at least some of them - will be here later, and I really hope to be able to relax and enjoy the day and family! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Finally, we have clear skies and bright sunshine.  Today will be low 60s and mostly sunny - so, a lovely fall day.

Yesterday: It turned into a bit of a busy day, but not as productive as I would have liked.  After DH's appointment, we stopped by the pharmacy - I had a refill, but they're having trouble getting auth for one of DH's. (that's being taken care of).  Then we went to a shop in town (BTW - no "idiot lights" now).  He said it's fine to keep driving, and I will take it to him Friday morning for a diagnostic.  So it was getting late, I stopped by Subway for lunch and came home.  Then I gathered trash, and took it to the dump, and (finally) got to the grocery store!  I only had my 2 little boys after school, so much quieter evening!

Today: I've got some cleaning and organizing to get done before company tomorrow.  This afternoon I'll take a quick run to my sister's house to deliver the gifts I didn't get there Sunday. :)

Good morning!  It's a wonderful morning.  It's not as dreary as yesterday, but still a bit overcast.  Today will be low 60s and less windy, so it'll feel warmer.  The sun may even peeop out by this afternoon.

Yesterday: It was not a very productive day.  We all know I don't function well on darker days (that's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL!).  I did get some routine stuff done, and I got some of the piles of decorating clutter more organized.  I also managed to get a little more Christmas shopping done online (love ebates, coupons, sales, etc!!!).

Today: DH has an appointment at noon.  After that I'll need to pick up some refills; then we're going by a shop that has a computer to check out the car.  I'm hoping to fit in a grocery trip before the school bus gets here. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  We do seem to be having a lot of grayish mornings; though it's fairly "normal" for NC in November. Today will be a little warmer, upper 50s; but will stay overcast and breezy.  

Yesterday: Things didn't happen the way I thought they would, so in some ways the day was a little disappointing.  I did get a bunch of wrapping done; I just couldn't go anywhere (silly engine light! LOL!).  However, there was one totally unexpected bright spot - I cgot a personal call from Scotty!!  And no, it was not a recording. :)  He was calling randomly generated numbers of people who had his CD.  He was very sweet and courteous. :)

Today: I think today is a day to push myself to finish getting some decorating done; or at least as much as will be done before Thanksgiving.  I still have sewing I want to get done, but now it's for curtains and covers for the house.  If I can dredge up some more motivation (hard on a gray day!!), maybe I  will also continue with the wrapping. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's a bit overcast now, and the forecast is for mostly cloudy and breezy.  At least it won't be too cold, with mid to upper 50s.  Ther's a chance of rain later today.

Yesterday: It was a wonderful day!  I had breakfast at IHOP (only get to do that about once a year!), saw a Great parade (and yes, it was pretty chilly, but we survived it! LOL!), and stopped at the farmer's market for some fresh local produce.  Later in the evening, I found out I had won a raffle prize!  Plus, I got to talk to my SIL, which is rare and was just lovely!

Today: I really need to push today to get some things done.  The wrapping I've been so slack about now has to get done by this afternoon!  I'll be meeting someone to pick up my prize, and later delivering some gifts.  I do hope the rain holds off until after I've done my visitng; but it won't stop me from going! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  Or at least it will be - it's barely daylight yet!  Today will be chilly, maybe as high as mid to upper 50s.  But it will be mostly sunny, so will feel warmer.

Yesterday: It turned into a really busy day.  I had a hair appointment I'd forgotten about.  Oops! LOL!  But I made it; also got a big load of trash to the dump, squeezed in a few quick errands, and was home before the school bus.  This evening my son's SO brought us all KFC; and then she and I took the 2 youngest boys to the Lights and candy store.

Today: I've been planning for this day for a whole year - the Raleigh Christmas parade! Yay! I do love a parade.  We're leaving very early in order be beat at least some of the crowds (fortunately, I have a "safe" place to park).  We get to eat breakfast at IHOP, and the the best parade between Atlanta and Washington! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning Yesterday's clouds and rain have moved on.  There are a few "high thin" clouds,but lots of sunshine. It may get a little cloudier by afternoon, but not too much.  It's still cool, mid 50s, which isn't bad.

Yesterday: Unlike the "official" prediction, it poured rain most of the day, barely stopping by the time the school bus gets here.  However, I made excellent progress, especially with some help. Only one big and 2 small trees remain to be lit and decorated.  Bits and pieces of other decorations have come down.  The babies were here an extra hour, so nothing much got done after that!

Today: My joints are screaming at me for yesterday! LOL!  But, I just have a few boxes on the stairs to take up.  I have a hair appointment, so will take trash to the dump and squeeze in a few quick errands.  Tonight, 2 or 3 of the bonus grands and their mom are taking me to the local Light display and candy store.  Yay!  The rest of the decorating (and it's probably 75% done) may wait until after Thanksgiving, because there are other things now to take priority.

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! Well, it's cold and wet - but that's normal for mid November.  It will only be around 50 today but there's a slight chance of a bit of sun peeping through by afternoon. :)

Yesterday: I had another really busy day.  I went to a big shopping center and got to Michaels and Target - and was finally able to find some of the items I've been looking for!  I got home just in time for the school bus, so the rest of the evening was busy too.

Today:  A lady is coming to help me do some decorating - good thing, as I seem to be lacking in motivation! LOL!  Today and tomorrow I hope to really push to get most of it done.  "Activities" start this weekend - I want to just enjoy them and be done with decorating (so I can just enjoy that too!) :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  Right now it's pretty chilly, but clear.  Today will only go to about mid 50s; and they're saying by late afternoon it will become mostly cloudy.

Yesterday: It was a fairly busy day.  I still didn't get as much done on the decorating as I hoped.  I did get out - in the rain! - to take trash and to get by the post office.  Since they couldn't go outside, the kids were wound up!!  But, they minded when I said "enough"; and it's not very long.

Today: I'm going to try to finish shopping.  DH is feeling better (he's actually already up!), so I can leave for a few hours, and be back before the school bus.  Hopefully tonight I'll get back to sewing.  I have enough of my gift projects; but I need to finish up some decorating projects! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Today is a big change from yesterday though.  It started out gray and windy; and will only go to the low 50s today.  We might see a few showers, but mostly just chilly and cloudy.

Yesterday: It turned into a very busy day!  I don't even know if I can remember everything "in sequence".  First, one of bonus grands arrived for the day.  I worked on bringing boxes and trees donwstiars, and putting empty boxes back up.  He put batteries in toys for me! :)  My friend and her son arrived, and she and I and both boys started working on the outside decorations.  The boys were very helpful and we got a lot done!  We took one small excursion to town to feed the boys (teen age boys - what can I say?? LOL!); and the visiting nurse managed to come and go while we were in town.  In the late afternoon I had the next door babies, only for about 45 minutes.  Thank goodness for leftovers for supper! LOL!

Today: This will not be quite as busy, but hopefully still productive.  I do have to take trash to the dump, and get to the post office.  Otherwise, I can continue on bringing down one box at a time, deciding what to use, and taking the bo back upstairs!  Later this afternoon the exterminator is coming for a follow up.  He will find nothing!! Yay! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today will be our last "warm" day for a spell, with low to mid 70s.  The forecast is for mostly cloudy with a very small chance of showers; but right now it's lovely out, bright and clear!

Yesterday: The day didn't turn out anything like I expected - which isn't really unusual! LOL!  There were some issues with the planned party. But I managed to get a bit more organizing done, and some boxes upstairs, a few more trees down.  So it was at least semi-productive! :)

Today: This could be a busy day, but I can't tell yet how it will go.  I'm waiting for a supply delivery any minute; and then a nurse will make a home visit for an antibiotic treatment to DH sometime this afternoon.  In between, I have one of my "bonus" grands, and a friend coming over - between us, I'm hoping the majority of the outside decorations will get put in place! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  Our brief warm spell continues today, with mid to upper 70s.  Right now it's very clear, and the forecast is for mostly sunny.

Yesterday:  I spent most of the day trying to work through the clutter and sort what I will and won't use this year.  I have a pile of boxes ready to go up, ad the rooms are semi neat for now.  I'm ready to start bringing more stuff down! LOL!

Today: I'm doing a vendor party in a private home with several other ladies this afternoon.  That will pretty much take up my day, especially by the time I add in loading and unlaoding display stuff. It'll be fun; prosperous would be a bonus! :)

Good morning! It is a beautiful morning!  We're having one of those fall warm spells now.  Well, except at night! LOL!  Today will be low 70s and sunny - a lovely fall day!

Yesterday: Wow, I really ended up having a busy day.  The "mystery" of the neighbors is solved; and I had the 3 y/o for about 2 hours.  Wow, she's a busy little miss. LOL!  The lost Christmas box is found, and a few more trees came down.  So I was busy with those things as well.  And then the school bus(s) came, so 5 more kids. Several things didn't get done that I'd hoped for, but I'm still making progress.

Today: No school - no babysitting! :)  I need to clear the clutter so I can get busy on the next round of bringing things down.  I might go on an "adventure" with some of the bonus grands this afternoon; so hopefully I'll get busy this morning!  By tonight, when it's too late to be going up and down the stairs, I hope to get back busy on sewing.  And I MUST get busy wrapping things since certain little boys are so nosey!! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Even though it was very cold last night - right around freezing - today will be gorgeous.  It's sunny now and will be bright all day and in the mid 60s.  

Yesterday: I had a fairly busy day trying to get errands run.  There are still a few things I either didn't have time for, or just couldn't find.  DH had one of his days where he decided to just stay in bed half the day.  So, I left him to himself! LOL!  I rushed around to try to find the things on my list and still get home before the school bus.  Well, to my surprise - no neighbor kids.  In fact, no neighbors - no one is home.  Very odd.  So anyway, I had time to go back to town to the open house, and one more store for a few more things on my list  I still got home before the boys left! LOL!  I really didn't get much of anything else done.

Today: I hope I can make up for the last 2 days of nothing done on the house or decorating.  It's not cloudy, so I feel energized. I hope to get a general clean up done, bring most of the rest of the trees down, and start deciding where other things will go.  Oh, and I still need to get to town to the post office! It's going to be a busy day! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning!  The forecast said partly cloudy to start the day - but it's clear and bright now!  Today will be low 60s and sunny, so alovely fall day.

Yesterday: Sadly (for me) I didn't get upstairs at all yesterday.  DH had his noon appointment, and then he had several places he wanted to go.  By the time we got home and had some lunch, it was around 3:00.  And - well - I didn't do anything! LOL!  The kids start getting here at 4:00, so my day stops by then.  It was fairly late by the time everyone left, and by the time I did supper and dialysis set up - I fizzled! LOL!

Today: I doubt I'll get upstairs again today, but I do hope to get a bunch of errands done.  DH is feeling a lot better, so I'm planning to get out this afternoon. I hope I find all the things on my list and I don't need any "follow up" excursions!  :)

Note:  it appears I missed wishing Happy Birthday to my niece yesterday.  Sorry Alex!  Starting next year, I will be leaving off the personal birthdays so that I don't accidently miss anyone any more. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Today will be a little "warmer" than yesterday, in the low to mid 50s.  It'll still be mostly cloudy, but no rain predicted.  A little breezy might make it feel colder.  Winter isn't all that far off, so I'll be glad for these milder days now.

Yesterday:  I'm still searching for the lost box, but I did make a bit of progress.  More trees came down and have their holiday homes - up to 9 now, a lot more upstairs.  Most of the fall stuff has now been tucked away in the barn (and the lost is not there either).

Today: DH has a routine weekly visit to the dialysis clinic at noon.  That chops up the day pretty much.  I think in the "in between" time I'll just go upstairs and keep looking in boxes!  Oh, and *maybe* I'll bring down another tree.  Or a few. LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's a bit overcast, but at the moment at least it's dry.  This will be a chilly day, only in the upper 50s, and chances of random showers.

Yesterday: I did not get to do what I had hoped, but I still got a lot done.  We started the day with a lovely visit from DH's cousin (who had been unable to get to his party).  After that, I went to pay rent, and got groceries.  A few errands I had hoped to do at that point got postponed, so I tried to make the afternoon productive.  I did some more tweaking and furniture rearranging - and now have 3 trees "placed" (and 2 of them have working lights! Yay!).  They're not decorated yet of course - this is why I start so early! :)

Today: The boys get out of school early (good thing I *asked* them what time! LOL!), so I have to get my plan for the day organized.  I think I'll try to bring down a few more trees, and maybe even a box or two.  I know the boys will want to help, so I need to find the decorations for the one big tree that I always let the grands help with. I sure wish there were a few more taller grands! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning!  It's cool, but bright and clear.  Today will be mid to upper 50s, mostly sunny, and a little breezy.

Yesterday: I had a productive day for a change. I had a list (what? Me? List??  LOL!) of odds and ends to finish up so I'd have a clear playing field for the next phase of decorating.  I didn't do as much sewing as I wanted; but I did do some.  I even found a little time for a Christmas movie! :)

Today: I think this will be a busy day too.  DH's cousin is coming to visit (any minute, actually!).  Then I have to go pay rent and (hopefully) finally get to the grocery store.  If I have time for any more depends on how long a visit we have and how DH is feeling; in any case, I have a 4:00 "curfew"! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  The forecast is for "mostly" cloudy; right now it's overcast, but not "dark and gloomy".  Today will be mid 50s, and possible showers off and on.

Yesterday: It turned into an odd sort of day.  I had meant to go do a bit of shopping; but DH wasn't feeling well, so I decided not to go out except a quick trip to the dump.  I worked off and on doing pre-decorating prep, and also a bit of sewing.

Today: I made myself a long list of things to do to get "caught up" to the point of starting decorating.  I really want to start getting some pretty things in place - as soon as I figure out where I hid the table covers and runners from myself! LOL!

Did you remember to turn your clocks back?  I did, but have a lot of them and timers to reset.  Too bad my silly cats decided that "extra hour" was for playing, not sleeping! LOL!!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. When I first got up, all the areas in shade had frost!  So, clearly, we're into much colder nights now.  But today will be low 60s and mostly sunny.  It will be a very nice mid fall day.

Yesterday:  It was a pretty busy day.  I got all of the inside fall stuff tucked away upstairs, and the outside stuff is gathered together ready to go to the barn.  The dialysis nurse came by to give DH an antibiotic treatment.  And my "gardener" came by to help with some outdoor stuff and other prep.  I haven't been able to locate one box (or where ever I put things), so on to Plan B! LOL!

Today:  I will take a few other things upstairs, mainly lamps.  And I *might* start bringing down a few of the larger trees, so we can be sure where they're going to fit this year.  I also might fit in a quick shopping trip (although grocery shopping is never really "quick", is it?) and take some trash to the dump.  I'm never really sure where each day will end up any more. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  Once again, with a forecast of "mostly cloudy", I have bright sunshine pouring in the window!  Today will bemild, low 60s; and the afternoon could be very breezy as a front moves through.

Yesterday: I pretty much did what was on my "to do" list, which was pack up the fall and Halloween stuff and the pictures and bric-a-brac.  Some of it is back upstairs, but I fizzled going up and down the stairs! LOL!  Since it was the first nice day in about a week, I sent the boys outside to play.  And, since DH is *finally* starting to feel better, I went to the grill to get something he would actually eat. :)

Today: The "plan" is to finish getting the fall stuff put away upstairs, and locate the box with the table linens.  I thought I had it yesterday ... but the box turned out to only have pillows.  Guess I didnd't list as well as I thought I did! LOL!  This afternoon the dialysis nurse is making a home visit ... so maybe I'll vacuum (although I did it Tuesday, so maybe not).  I'm anxious to start getting Christmas out - the blank surfaces look cold and boring! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning!  The forecast is - again - for mostly cloudy; and - again - there's bright sunlight pouring in my window!  Today will be right around 60 or low 60s, so a nice fall day.

Yesterday: I had a fairly busy day, but it wasn't a bad day.  I had 3 "bonus grands" for the day (spent the night), but the only issues were a bit of minor bickering (and the requisite tattling! LOL!), and some dawdling.  They went with me to take Maggie for her rabies shot (and she behaved so well, even the vet was amazed!) and then to McD's for lunch.  They had a bit of afternoon playtime, then cleaned everything up so I could take them home in time to go trick-or-treating.  I managed to fit a bit of sewing in too. :)

Today: It's November already.  Wow.  So, today the decorating begins.  The first state is to pack up fall; and to also pack up everything on various surfaces, and clean them.  The cats will be happy - but only for one night! LOL!

Good morning!  It's a beautiful morning!  The forecast for today is still mostly cloudy; but at the moment, there's sunlight pouring in the window.  It'll be a bit warmer, mid to upper 50s; and breezy, but not the awful wind from Sandy.  It makes my heart ache to see what the storm has done to the north.  I pray for my family/friends/readers and hope all are safe!

Yesterday: Once again, the day didn't go at all as I thought it would.  I did, however, vacuum!  Major TA DA! LOL!  When DH got up he had a small problem with his dialysis tubing - in the end we went into town to the center to get it corrected.  I picked up meds and then groceries on the way home.  Later in the evening the boy's mom came and brought "bonus" #3, and they all spent the night.

Today:  Today is a teacher work day.  I didn't know until the last minute I would have all 3 boys here, so not too much is planned for the day.  I have to take Miss Maggie to the vet for her rabies shot; and I'll get the boys into their costumes and back to town in time to do some treat-or-treating before curfew. It's too bad there are so many dangers "out there" - trick-or-treating was more fun after dark! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  We were very blessed here, as we only got the outer most edges of Sandy. It was very windy all weekend, but not so much now.  It's still very cloudy, and has spattered rain a bit this morning.  Today will be a lot cooler, upper 40s to low 50s.

Yesterday: It was a very busy day, with some surprising twists!  In the morning I got all the rest of the trash bagged and out to the dump.  I took a return package to UPS, and stopped by the PO for some Christmas stamps.  Then I went to the pharmacy for some refills (my eye drops) and a few items.  While there I got a call - DH could go home!  Well, I couldn't go get him until evening anyway.  I came home and got his dialysis set up; then waited for the supply delivery.  Fortunately, he came by 3:00.  So as soon as the boys got here at 4:00, and fed their dog, we went to town.  They went to an alternate babysitter, and *my driver* took us to Duke to spring DH! LOL!  They (doctors) had a very specific time line they needed me to stick to; but we made it, and were home by 8:30.  

Today: I will need to run to town again - they gave him one new Rx.  And I'll have at least 2 of the "bonus" grands all day tomorrow (WHY a teacher workday on Halloween??), so I need provisions!  Plus, sometime today, I hope to get to that vacuuming I keep putting off; and I need to get a few gifts wrapped before snoopy little boys find them! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wondeerful morning. Today will be cooleer, mid to upper 50s.  It's still cloudy and very windy, but it's a lot brighter - like the clouds are starting to thin out as the storm moves farther north. There's a spattering of rain every now and again, but that will mostly stop too I think.

Yesterday: I had a very relaxing and productive day.  I worked on several different Christmas projects, and got a lot of things finalized.  But, I didn't start wrapping yet.  I think my "inner child" is still saying it's too soon! LOL!

Today:  I must brave the chill and wind and go run some errands.  I have trash to dump, a package to mail, a refill to pick up.  Later, I have to make room for a supply delivery.  This evening I'll head back to the hospital, with no idea for how long.  If you don't get a newsletter for a day or a few days, it'll be because I'm not taking the laptop this time - so even if I can get online, I won't have anything I can enlarge enough to see.  I'll update everyone when we get home. :)

Good morning! It is a wonderful morning.  Well, probably not so wonderful for areas north of me - there's a storm out there, and it's looking like the northeast is in for some really rough weather.  Here it's overcast and very windy.  There's only intermitant spatters of rain.  Today will be a lot cooler, in the low to mid 60s.

Yesterday:  I got laundry caught up, email caught up (mostly), and did a lot of sewing.

Today: I have a list of random things to work on today.  Nothing is critical if I don't get done, but I hope I do.  I want to get my notebooks updated; work on Christmas cards; get started on wrapping (thought I would yesterday, but didn't get to it); and do more sewing.  Also yesterday no one bothered to call me with an update on DH, so today I'll be calling up there and harrassing the nurses until someone gives me answers! LOL!

Good morning!  It's a wonderful morning. It's gray and sputtering rain; but not cold, as today will be mid 70s. There's a powerful storm off in the Atlantic, and we're getting some outer fringes of it.  Looks like people north of us (NC) are going to get hit hard - any readers in that area, be prepared, and be safe!

Yesterday: and several yesterdays, actually - I unexpectedly had no internet access.  So, a brief overview: DH got an infection (not at all unusual), but it apparently caused fluid to back up (this is a constant concern for dialysis patients).  So, he was admitted to the hospital for antibiotics and some extra dialysis treatments to pull off excess fluid.  After spending 2 nights and 2 days either wandering the halls, reading til my eyes fell out, or watching him sleep - I came home for a bit of a break! LOL!

Today: I'm a little disoriented, not having to jump up and get pills or something. :)  I got some good sleep, finally.  I think today I'll work on getting some small chores caught up (like Christmas cards and wrapping gifts), and some sewing.  Hopefully I can decompress and relax before I go back, since I don't know how long he will be there.  Maybe I need to check Amazon for some more free books to dowload before going back! LOL!

Good morning! It is a beautiful morning!  Today will be low 80s and sunny, a gorgeous day and a bit warm for late October - but not really unusual.

Yesterday: The day didn't turn out anything at all like I expected.  DH's doctor decided he ought to be evaluated at the ER, and sent him (by transport).  I came home to wait for information.  The information I keep getting is changing, but it seems he has an infection and just needs a few days of antibiotics.

Today: Since DH still hasn't been put in a room, I won't be going until tonight.  Today will likely be spent alternating between phone calls with updates, and ... I don't know! LOL!  Maybe some sewing.  Maybe I'll even vacuum.  Probably at some point I'll go get some dog food. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Today will be nearly 80, and sunny - almost still summer! :)

Yesterday: It was also a beautiful sunny day.  I spent some time just walking around the yard, taking a few pictures. :)  I also moved a few things up and down the stairs.  Now my wrapping center is ready to go; and I rearranged some things in the kitchen, so I have better storage.  And .. I read a lot! LOL!

Today: I didn't have any particular plans for today.  DH is still saying he doesn't feel well, so we've decided to take him to the doctor's office in hopes of getting an antibiotic.  Since we never know how long that could take, I suspect today will, again, be for a lot of reading.  :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Today we're heading into another warm spell, which is not too unusual for late October.  It'll be mid to upper 70 and sunny. Have I mentioned that I love fall? :)

Yesterday: I had a fairly lazy day.  I did get a few things done, and the house is pretty much back to "normal" (only a cleaner normal! LOL!).  I worked on some sewing, but ran into a glitch.  I ran out of bobbins! Oops.  I now have a dozen wound bobbons; and I can thread the machine - but no way I can see to thread the needle, so have to wait for help with that.  I did some on line Christmas shopping (I love "free shipping coupons!); and very little else. :)

Today: I know I probably have chores I should be doing - guess I better look at my "master list"! LOL!  Sometime this afternoon I'll be taking trash to the dump  I don't have to cook anytime soon for sure!  Perhaps today I'll finish setting up my "wrapping station" and get started wrapping Christmas presents!  Or maybe, if I can dig up an extra burst of motivation, I'll bake something.  No wait.  That ca be done on cooler days! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! I have beautiful sunshine pouring in the window, and it will stay sunny all day. It should be in the upper 60s, which will be quite pleasant.

Yesterday: The birthday party went off extremely well!  DH was surprised - tiwce!  Once in the morning when he found out 2 grandsons (from GA) were here for the day; and again with the party.  We had 5 close family friends come, and 22 family members!  All of his sons, all of his grands, and 3 of 4 "bonus" grands were here.  Also, all of his siblings and all of mine except one who lives out of state. The weather was perfect, the food was good (and very abundant!!), and all went off so much better than I had even hoped!!

Today: I'm doing as little as possible! LOL!   The party planning went well, and I had lots of help.  Clean up was done quickly and efficiently.  This morning it took less than half an hour to have my kitchen pretty much back to "normal" (actually, better than normal! LOL!), and the only thing left is one pan of utinsels soaking in the sink.  Today will be for resting a lot; sewing; planning and dreaming about Christmas - only 10 more days until I start decorating!! :)

Yesterday: I got nearly everything done that I wanted to, and tackled a few unexpected projects as well.  My house is *mostly* clean, and the yard is looking SO nice!

Today: I'm excited, and hope today goes well.  This afternoon is the surprise (I hope! LOL!) birthday party for DH.  Any time now 2 of his grandsons will get here (he'll be told that their visit is the surprise - the party will come later). I think I'm ready.  I hope I haven't forgotten anything! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  It started out a bit cloudy, possibly even some early morning drizzle.  But it's clearing up and will soon be a bright sunny day.  It'll be warm, close to 80.

Yesterday: Wow, I worked hard! Yes, ME. LOL!  Together with my friend, we got the house cleaned except a few small bits I will do later. I also had a late afternoon "adventure", going to a car rental place and then getting a trunk full of mulch for my yard - and dinner from the grill! :)

Today: Today will be busy with some odds and ends, phone calls, an afternoon appointment and picking up refills.  In between, I'll probably be wandering the yard (again - already been out this morning) trying to call Maggie back (she escaped because certain little boys, who shall remain nameless but have been told a hundred zillion times to shut the door, didn't shut the door).  She's afraid of that silly barking dog, so this could take awhile - but she'll eventually get hungry! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  The sky is a little "milky", but it's bright and cool out right now.  Today will get warm again, up to around 80; and those thin clouds may thicken up to become stormy by afternoon.

Yesterday: It turned into a busy day, though not quite how I expected! LOL!  I did laundry and some other "busy work" in the morning, until DH's appointment.  The nurse didn't take long today, and we stopped by the pharmacy.  Insurance is causing a problem with one refill, but the pharmacist is working on that; so I didn't end up picking up anything yet.  After we came home and had some lunch, I went back to town to drop off the last of some donations that were in the way.  I got ready to leave - and my car wouldn't start!  I guess it thought I needed a break - an hour later, I find out it's a simple loose battery terminal! LOL!  All's well now, but I didn't get the rest of my errands done.

Today: A nice lady is coming to help me clean house (the "deep cleaning" that I don't get to often enough) so everything will be nice, clean, and orderly (I hope!) by the weekend.  Tonight I'll have to go take care of a bill out of town, and while there I hope to go by and pick up some mulch for the yard.  It's going to be a very busy day! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  Today will be in the low 70s, with "high thin clouds" that will give filtered sunlight.

Yesterday: It was a lovely day, clear and warm, just a touch of a breeze.  We got to the fair grounds about 1:00; and were on the bus heading back to the parking area at 7:30.  We had a lot of rest stops, but saw all the gardens and exhibits.  I had a wonderful time; and I'm glad it's only once a year! LOL!

Today: DH has a monthly follow up with a doctor, and then I'll need to pick up some refills.  After that, I'll just keep on getting done what I can in the house.  If I have time, I might go out and get some mulch for some of the flower beds. I've got left over tired, so I probably won't push myself very hard today. :)

Good morning! It is a beautiful morning! Oh my what perfect lovely fall weather.  Today will be around 70, and sunny.

Yesterday: By mid afternoon the rain moved in, and we had several storms move across.  I managed to get a lot of "odd jobs" done, and got to the grocery store.  I also got several of my sewing projects pinned and all ready to sit down and stitch up.  So all in all, it was a reasonably productive day. :)

Today: This is a gorgeous day, and I'm going to the state fair!  This is a once a year treat; I sure hope my feet and joints hold up! LOL!  One friend and I just like to go to the gardens and the exhibits.  Well, OK, I'll admit, we'd have gone to see Scotty - if the show hadn't been sold out months ago! :)  But we'll eat some junk food and I'll take tons of pictures and come home tired.  The only thing that would make the day better would be to have a driver. Not gonna happen; but at least I have a navigator! LOL!

Good morning!  It's a wonderful morning.  Right now there are "soft shadows" in the window - it's overcast, but the sun is shining through thin layers.  Today will be mid to upper 70s, cloudy and breezy with a chance of showers, especially in the afternoon.

Yesterday: I had a quiet day.  While I didn't do any "heavy" cleaning, I did do a lot of general decluttering.  I also got a lot of sewing done.  Of course, my cats think all my sewing projects (the ones in process) were created just for them! :)

Today: I'm waiting for a supply delivery any time now. They only give us a general time range, but he's usually fairly early.  Once he's come and gone, I'll have to make a quick trip to a grocery store.  Hopefully by tonight 2 major "obstacles" will be out of my way; but no cleaning in the evening, have to watch Dancing! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  It's sunny and mild now, and is only supposed to go to the upper 70s.  This is why I love fall, this is just lovely weather!

Yesterday: It turned into a very long day!  I don't like driving, but it was 2 hours there and 2 back.  Oh well, I survived! LOL!  The vendor event had tons of crowds, but sales (again) were disappointing.  I learned a few new tricks, so that counts for something. :)

Today: I'm recuperating from yesterday! LOL!  I only have a few random chores to deal with.  A new project room starts this week, so maybe I'll see what little picking up/organizing I can do.  Very little! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning!  Today will be bright and sunny, and in the upper 60s.  It just doesn't get much better for being outside all day! :)

Yesterday: My carpets got cleaned (well, 3 rooms) and look nice.  They smelled sort of chemical-y for awhile, but not terrible.  I finally got out and ran a whole bunch of errands - 6 stops in all!  Then I got home to find DH in bed with a tummy ache because he ate something he'd been told he shouldn't.  Kids! LOL!!

Today: In a short while I'll be heading out of town, a 2 hour drive.  I had hoped DH was going with me, but he doesn't feel like it.  But, it's a beautiful day for the event.  I'm doing an out of town show (Mumfest - and sharing a table with other chocolatiers), only for the afternoon.  I know there will be lots of crowds, so I hope I have some sales for a change! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! I just love a bright sunshiny morning. :)  Today will be mid 70s and mostly sunny - again, a lovely fall day!

Yesterday: I had a fairly busy day with errands and small bits and pieces.  DH had his appointment, which of course ran a bit late.  We stopped to pick up some refills, and I stopped to pick up a painted lalmpshade. As soon as we got home, I rushed around getting the rest of the trash bagged and in the car; then I took it to the dump, and went to town to meet a friend.  We had a short chat; and then home again.  My kitchen sink (faucet and cabinet) are done now, and very nice!  Also, I got my Christmas cards all addressed (well, stickers all put on! LOL!) - nicely organized and ready to be signed.  Not much cleaning got done, but still a fairly productive day.

Today: I'm doing something I've never done before - having my carpets professionally cleaned!  After 11 years, they're due! LOL!  This afternoon I'm going to try to get a few errands done; and tonight I'll need to get things ready to do an out-of-town vendor event tomorrow.  I'm tired thinking about it! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Bright sunlight is pouring in my window - all the clouds have moved on.  Today will be another perfect fall day, around 70 and sunny.

Yesterday: I was very pleased with my accomplishments - I made some very good progress in my "project-of-the-week room".  I have one dresser to declutter; and then ordinary dusting and vacuuming.  Once some "extra" stuff is removed (that is supposed to be done this weekend), it'll be a usable room.  Again.  LOL!  Also, my sink is finally fixed.  Well, actually, the whole faucet had to be replaced; but now I have a shiny new one, that doesn't leak! :)

Today: This will be a busy day.  It will soon be time to leave for DH's weekly appointment.  As soon as we get home I'll need to finish bagging trash, drop it off at the dump, and then meet a friend in town.  Later, our handy-man friend is coming back to finish the job he started - the floor to the kitchen cabinet! Hopefully later this evening I can fit some sewing in, since I have a pile of simple projects all ready for me to stitch up. Or maybe I'll just watch TV! LOL!

Good morning!  It's a beautiful morning! The sun is back, Yay!  We needed the rain (especially since workmen disrupted my watering system! LOL!), but I'm glad for a pretty day again.  It will be low 70s today, a nice fall day. 

Yesterday:It didn't rain a lot, but it looked like it wanted to all day.  I did get more done than I expected in my "project room".  It's a long way from clean and organized, but looking a lot better.  I got grocery shopping done, and got another sewing project completed.

Today: I think today will be mostly a "catch up" day.  I think the kitchen sink still has a leak, so waiting to see if that can be fixed or not - so any kitchen cleaning is on hold.  Gee, what a hardship! LOL!  I hope I'll get more room cleaning done; but I'm at a point where some things need to get out of my way, and that won't happen before the weekend.  I'll do what I can to work around them.  And - today I'm working on Christmas cards.  No, it's not "too early" - will You be ready?? LOL!!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  Once again, it's completely overcast; and will probably stay that way all day.  Although it's rained a little so far, that's supposed to taper off soon. Today will be a lot warmer than yesterday, maybe low 60s.  Not to worry, the warm weather is coming back! :)

Yesterday: Wow, what a strange day.  It poured rain most of the day; and you can guess, I didn't get a lot of things accomplished.  The lovely gentleman who is trying to fix my kitchen cabinet came back - only, instead of being able to work on the cabinet, he spent about 6 or 7 hours trying to fix leaks in my sink!  I did get the last of my laundry done; and - Yay! - I got more sewing done.

Today: I think I will have to push myself to get out this afternoon.  I need to take trash; but I especially need to get a few groceries.  I found some nice snack things for the BGS for after school - and DH ate them all! LOL!  The outside drains are all finally fixed, so I will work on getting the kitchen cleaned.  Since I'm so near to being able to reassemble everything under the sink, this might be a good time to purse cleaning supplies.  I have enough for 3 houses.  I don't use them, I just collect them! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's the kind of day that makes me think of fall - chilly and wet.  And since I love fall, that doesn't even make sense! LOL!  Today will be mid 50s, and cloudy all day.  It's already been raining off and on, and it looks like that will continue.

Yesterday: I still had a lot of "left over" tired, so didn't get as much done as I hoped.  But, I did get a few things accomplished, including getting laundry caught up!  A friend came over to fix the floor under the sink - wow did that turn into a project.  Turns out my house is not very well built! LOL!  It's nearly done though.  Also a lot of yard stuff got done.  With wind and cool, the gnats weren't such a problem, so I spent some outside time.  We decorated that ugly stump left back in the spring! LOL!

Today: My friend is coming back to finish the sink floor.  Also, the landlord is sending his pet doofus over to repair what he messed up when putting in the washer drain - he disconnected the sink drain pipe!!  I know I still have a bit of cleaning to catch up; but I think today is going to be primarily a "quiet" day, paperwork and getting various notebooks caught up. And planning (dreaming?) Christmas! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  The spell of warm weather broke; this morning it's raining and chilly.  This, too, is typical fall.  The high today will probably only be around 60 with showers off and on all day.

Yesterday: It was in the upper 80s yesterday, and I learned a valuable lesson:  A town street festival is not necessarily a good place to try to sell chocolate; and if I ever again do an outdoor show (which is doubtful after next weekend), I will have to get a canopy! LOL

Today: I've had several non productive days this week, and I'd really like to get caught up.  I'm already working on catching up laundry (they came yesterday and fixed the problem they created!).  I have a lot of sore muscles, and it's rainy - but I'm going to try hard to get several overdue chores done. I hope. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  It's still oh-dark-thirty, so don't know how it looks now; but the forecast is for mid 80s and sunny, a gorgeous day!

Yesterday: I was even busier than usual, but in the end a lot got accomplished.  The biggest is that a major problem got resolved. I am So happy!! Then I got rent paid, ran several errands (including getting 5 boxes of donations out of the house!); and even squeezed in a small bit of "good neighbor".

Today: I have a vendor event that should be extra busy.  I'm already running a bit late; but I have a 2 hour time frame to set up, and it doesn't take me that long.  It isn't over until 3:00 or 4:00, so will be a very long day! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning!  It started out a little overcast; but there is sunshine coming in my window now.  Today will be around low 80s, and mostly sunny - and LESS humid!! Yay!

Yesterday: The best thing I can say is that is was a traumatic day! LOL!  There were lots of issues to deal with; but we survived the day.  Some days that's all you can hope for! :)

Today: I have to run errands today, some left over from yesterday.  And I have to try to get some issues from yesterday resolved. Since I have to go to town anyway, I hope to make a quick stop by a favorite local shop, to see if the artist has anything new that I just can't live without! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  It's starting out gray; but it's not dark, and not raining.  The clouds should clear out by afternoon, and be a nice warm (low 80s) fall day.

Yesterday: It was, as usual, an extraordinarily long day.  Part of that was because the doctor's office was running "a little behind" ... so DH had to wait over 2 hours for his appointment.  Then, of course, the appointment took close to an hour (and thank God, no problems!!); we barely got out ahead of the worst of the evening traffic.  Once we got past the heaviest traffic areas we stopped for gas and dinner.  Once we got home, we were both too tired for anything but early to bed! :)

Today: He has a regular weekly appointment; it's local, and never takes long. We'll make a stop for refills, maybe get lunch, and head home.  I'm hoping to implement a new organizing strategy that I thought up.  If it works, I'll make major progress in getting the sewing room neat and comfortable to work in!  If it doesn't work, I may get frustrated and throw things! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's overcast now, and will probably be rainy and stormy, especially in the afternoon.  The forecast says most of the storminess will be east of a main interstate .. and today we're heading west, so we'll see if that matters.  It'll also be upper 80s ... last gasp of summer maybe?

Yesterday: I had a very busy and productive day.  My friend helped me clean out cabinets in the laundry room ... I found SO much silly stuff in there! LOL!  Now I even have extra room.  After she left, I took trash to the dump. and even finally got to the grocery store.  And - I still managed to be home before the boys got here.

Today: It's too bad it's such a rainy day, because DH has another Duke appointment.  I had hoped we'd have a few months free of that trip.  Silly me, what was I thinking? LOL!  I hope the rain won't be an issue with driving.  This is a new doctor (like he doesn't already have enough? LOL!) so we have no clue how long we'll be there - I'm just hoping we get out before the evening traffic.  Maybe we can even stop at a favorite place to eat on the way home. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's pouring rain right now, but this will probably be "hit and miss" most of the day.  Today will be a lot warmer, in the low 80s; but will probably stay heavily overcast.

Yesterday: I admit, it was once again not very productive.  I did get a few productive things done; but I spent way too much time *waiting* ... for the supply delivery, for the school bus, for a reply to a question.  But I did enjoy watching DWTS last night! :)

Today: Even though it's rainy, I think today will be more productive.  Someone is coming over to help me clean out the laundry room cabinets (that haven't been touched in 11 years! Yikes!), and I hope we'll get the whole room organized.  Since I didn't go yesterday, I'll still have to run out to the dump and to the grocery store this afternoon. Maybe I can get that done between showers! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's gray and cool now, but should at least partly clear off by afternoon.  The temp will only be around the low 70s, so a nice mild day.

Yesterday: It was rainy off and on, which tends to effect my mood.  But, I made a list and got nearly everything on it done. Yay!  I probably would have gotten it all ... but I distracted myself with more fall decorations! :)

Today: The supply delivery is due today; but they've apparently changed the schedule, and now he won't come until sometime after 2:00.  So, I only have this morning to decide if I need to go out for anything.  I do need to take trash to the dump - but not going to try that if it's going to rain! LOL! I do plan to finish vacuuming at least.  And a gray dreary day might be a good time to work on updating notebooks and lists! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning.  It's a bit overcast right now, but not rainy; and it should give way to mostly sunny by afternoon.  At least, that's what they say! :)  Today will be low to mid 70s, so very pleasant.

Yesterday: It rained all day.  While we needed the rain, it was a shame it rained - yet again - on a vendor event.  Oh well, we did get a fair amount of customers early on.  I wasn't trying to sell, just get my information out there and get leads for parties - which I did.  I have some vendor shows coming up at which I will be selling (I hope! LOL!).  It was fun, as always; but still a long and tiring day.

Today: I hope to dredge up some energy and at least get back to my "new normal".  That means I have to put up my supplies from yesterday, and declutter a few areas.  I have one small area from last week to finish, and then think about this week's room.Note, I didn't say "do it" yet, just think about it! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's still dark out, so not sure what it is now - but the forecast for today is for mid 70s and rainy.  We've been needing rain, though it is ironic that it finally gets here after I get my sprinklers back to working! LOL!

Yesterday: It was a busy day.  I mostly finished the room of the week; and even though one area hasn't been done yet, I'm very pleased with the progress.  I did wait too late in the day to get my gear sorted and packed, but oh well. :)

Today: I have a vendor event in Smithfield (Sleep Inn, if anyone "local" is looking for something fun to do on a rainy Saturday!).  It's only around half an hour drive, but I still have to load the car.  If I get home in time - and not too tired - and DH is ok (that's a lot of "ifs"! LOL!), I may go with a friend to check out a new store.  Yes, just what I *need*, more shopping! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's warming up quickly, and will be mid 80s with mostly sunshine today.  By late afternoon there could be clouds moving in, maybe even changes of showers.  At this point, a little rain would be welcome. :)

Yesterday: I had a busy day, but didn't accomplish very much.  The plumber came back, and was here for over 3 hours.  Most astonishingly to me, he kept trying to do the same thing, that wasn't working.  In the end, I got a "make do" drain; but at least it works so far.  In the afternoon I had a foolow up eye appointment that was not especially productive; but it is what it is. :) With all that going on, the boys here, the evening routine .. I forgot a phone call. Oops. LOL!

Today: As far as I know, I have nothing out of the house I need to do, and I really hope to finally get a good deep cleaning done in the bathroom.  If my energy holds out, I'll do an all over "surface clean".  If it doesn't, I guess I won't. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. I stepped out early - the sun barely up and a layer of fog/mist hovered just off the ground.  It was cool and oh so pretty!  Today will be mid 80s and sunny; but then the temps start going back down. It's typical fall see-saw weather, but very nice.

Yesterday: It certainly turned into a mixed up sort of day.  I got general morning stuff done, and we left for DH's appointment.  They were running late, so after the appointment we came on home.  Then I had to wait.  I hate waiting! LOL!  The plumber came about 3ish; and after a hour and a half (and a lot of water on the floor!), he had to give up.  Hmmm ... this is *interesting*!  I don't know what's next, or when.  The boys got here before the plumber left, and of course were more interested in him than homework! LOL!  Later in the evening, their mom came and tried to shave the dog while I went and got us all some fried chicken.  Interesting evening to say the least! LOL!

Today: My day started out Way too early, so not quite sure where it will go.  I know I'll be doing the dreaded vacuuming again (dog hair! LOL!), but I suspect I won't get much else done.  I have a follow up eye appointment this afternoon - and if they dilate my eyes, for sure nothing else will get done today. Good excuse, right? :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  How many times can I say how much I like this time of year? LOL!  Today will be a little warmer, maybe mid 80s.  But it's clear, sunny, a little humid, and no rain in sight.

Yesterday: My day got a lot busier, and less productive than I'd hoped.  Oh well. I did get a lot of general picking up done, some laundry done and put away.  I did some small detail work in the bathroom.  Around noon we had a surprise visit from DH's  sister.  After she left, we went to town for lunch and a quick trip to the grocery store.  When we got home, I did the "grandmothery" thing and baked cookies.  Guess what ... they didn't like that kind! LOL!!  Then it was homework until they left, dinner here, and the day pretty much gone.  The evening was Mine - new season on some shows!! :)

Today: DH has a follow up appointment with the dialysis nurse.  After that, if there's time, we may get lunch in town.  We have to come on home, a plumber is supposed to come after 2:00 to check on that kitchen sink drain.  And, of course, the boys will be here just after 4:00.  Perhaps later this afternoon I'll keep working on getting my sewing room better organized.  Or maybe I won't. LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  It started out very cool, but will go up to upper 70s today.  I just love the cool nights and warm days! Today will be nice and sunny - days like this are why fall is my favorite season. :)

Yesterday: I had an odd mixture of getting stuff done and slacking! LOL!  But main primary objective (don't you just love the "big words"? LOL) was to clean my closet - which I accomplished. I did get a few other straightening and decluttering bits done.  In the afternoon I picked up the 2 bonus grands who will stay with us after school for a few months. And, last night I watched Dancing With The Stars!! :) 

Today: I hope to continue working on cleaning the bathroom, and also keep working on getting my sewing room better organized.  I'm getting there, just very slowly - about the way I do everything! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Today will be sunny and low 70s ... again, a perfect fall day!  It's hard to believe September is nearly over; but after so much heat this summer, this fall is turning out wonderful!

Yesterday: Well, big surprise - my day turned out Nothing like I expected!  I did manage to get a bit of deneral decluttering done, but that's about all.  Instead I helped a friend do some moving.  And, I have "acquired" a dog. He's really the "bonus" grand's dog, but needs a home.  Later in the day I "visited" with another friend, and went in the yard a bit.  But I just can't stay out there long until I get the yard sprayed for those gnats! :)

Today: As far as I know, I have no "plans" until late afternoon, when the boys get out of school.  I hope to make significant progress on this week's room!!  But first I have to get some routine stuff done, so that I don't get behind on everything else.  Susie Homemaker I am Not! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! This should be a gorgeous fall day - sunny all day with temps in the mid 70s.

Yesterday: Believe it or not, I really did finish a project! LOL!  Plus, I managed to take a load of trash to the dump. I would say the bedroom looks great - but with the dark curtains now, who can tell. LOL

Today: A new project room starts today, but I think I will mainly concentrate on getting the already done rooms back to presentable.  There are only 2 doctor appointments this week, and none very far away.  I should be able to have a very productive week.  The "biggie" for today: changing out summer to winter rugs. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning.  It's clear and bright now, and today will be mid to upper 80s and mostly sunny.  The next few days apparently will be a see-saw of temps ... but again, that's normal for this time of year.  We're still having lovely fall days!

Yesterday: DH's appointment was later in the day than usual, so made the day a bit "off center".  I did get bits and pieces done in the morning, and even a few things done in the late afternoon.  

Today: Since the "project room" changes on Sunday, I only have today to try to finish.  I hope to be able to spend more time in the bedroom getting a lot of dusting done.  I got new "black-out" curtains, since he likes it cave-dark.  I *plan* on cleaning the windows before they go up!  If I get that room done .. OK, knowing me, I won't plan that far! LOL!

Good morning!  It's a beautiful morning! It's clear and bright, and very comfortable outside. Today will only be low to mid 80s, maybe a touch of breeze; so a lovely fall day.

Yesterday: I had a lot of "left over tired", so wasn't especially productive.  I did get some more cleaning done in this week's "project room"; but not much, because DH was even more tired than I was! LOL!  I managed to get a small load of trash to the dump, and get a big load of groceries in.  Fortunately I only had to get to the edge of town - I had forgotten (**shudders in horror**) about Mule Days! It's not a good day to go to town when you have to dodge horses ... and their *tracks*! LOL!

Today: The appointment DH was supposed to have yesterday will be today instead.  It'll be later, which takes up a bit more afternoon; but I'm getting more done this morning.  I already have the bedroom curtains washed and on the line outside.  Of course, what I'd really like to do - while in town today - is replace them! :)
