Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Well, actually, at the moment it's still very foggy! LOL! But it's supposed to be in the low to mid 90s, and only partly cloudy. There's no mention of chances of rain at all today. Of course, that doesn't mean there won't be any! :)
Yesterday: DH had his usual weekly appointment, and they were super fast for a change. We made a quick stop by Lowes for some chemicals and hardware. :) I also made a quick stop by the vet, and got some flea medicine for the cats. We got home in plenty of time for the phone guy - which was good, because he was here promptly at 1:00. Good news!! He didn't need to run a whole new wire, just replace a corroded jack plate (replaced with plastic!). This might even solve phone issues we've had for years. :) The only "work" I got done was to finish up bagging some trash from the porch, and just general "neatening up". I did get a bunch of phone calls made: got an eye appointment at Duke (instead of the place 2 hours away I went to previously); updated insurance information (I get a "mature driver" discount! LOL!); got information about another vendor show. I did a little bit of sewing; but ran into a problem, so had to just walk away for a bit.
Today: DH has an appointment this afternoon. Before we leave I will get the trash bagged up .. again (how can just 2 people generate SO much trash???), and drop it off on the way to town. Rather than do anything "hot and sweaty" (good excuse, right?) I think I'll work on filling out some lists and forms and get more "to do" stuff blocked into my calendar. Maybe tonight I'll tackle that sewing problem .. or else pick up a different project (I have plenty! LOL!).

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's still faintly overcast, but as yesterday, light is shining through. Today will hover around 90, and be partly cloudy. Of course there's a chance - surprise! LOL - of afternoon storms.
Yesterday: I admit, I slacked off a bit. I did tackle several small areas to clean and organize; but I didn't really get to a lot of the things I meant to. The "porch project" is nearly done though, and starting today I'm trying out a new system to eliminate that problem. I made a quick run to town to meet a friend who had a back order for me.
Today: This morning is DH's weekly follow up visit, but we'll come straight home after. Someone from the phone company is supposed to come this afternoon to repair the one broken line. Since I have to be home to wait for him, I really hope I find a burst of energy and finish the porch project, and tackle a bit more of inside stuff that needs to be caught up. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. There's still a bit of cloud cover - bit it seems thin, as there is a lot of light seeping through. Today will be mid to upper 80s, but mostly cloudy (and probably quite humid, like yesterday was). The chances of rain are better where I am than north of me; but this time, it might be mostly south! LOL!
Yesterday: Considering going out, I actually got quite a bit done. The chores I put on my list (particularly the ones on "the Plan" list) all got done! We went out to lunch with DS, I mailed several packages, picked up an order, picked up med refills, and still managed to get another big load of trash taken to the dump. In the evening I did more sewing; but alas! my eyes got too tired for reading.
Today: The "big" plan today is to clean house. Really. I'm even going to get out the dreaded vacuum! LOL! In the late afternoon I have to run one quick errand in town, that will only take a few minutes. Hopefully I'll also get some done on the porch, the notebooks, and sewing. Gee, if I didn't waste so much time sleeping, I'd be fine! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. The clouds are back; but it will *only* be upper 80s today. It may or may not rain, especially in the afternoon.
Yesterday: I was productive again, but didn't get quite as much done as I had hoped. But the car has a lovely new radiator; laundry got done and all put up; the house is neat. I worked on sewing projects, a bit on the porch, and some on my notebooks. All in all, not bad - and anyway, any progress at all is still progress! :)
Today: I don't know how I keep accumulating so many errands! Geesh. But I have to pick up an order and some refills; deliver some catalogs for an upcoming party; and mail some more catalogs for another upcoming party. YAY! I will try to fit in things on all my different lists as well. I hope! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. I'm not quite sure what it's like out now ... woke up to fog! So it's either still a bit foggy (seems like some light leaking through), or a little cloudy. The forecast is for "partly" cloudy. It'll be warm again, around 90; and there's a small chance of afternoon showers.
Yesterday: I actually had a nice productive day! I know, I'm surprised too! LOL. I had a list of things to do, and actually did at least something on all but one thing. I even did some "baking" (sort of). I did some work on the porch (this week's project), and I got my organizing notebook assembled and partly organized. And .. ta da! ... I cooked a nice dinner. :)
Today: In a few minutes I'll head for town - my "baby" gets her new radiator today. I don't know if I'll get her back today or tomorrow - so no errands! :) I will continue some work on the porch and the notebooks; oh, and I will do some sewing, and also read some (joined a book club). I'm going to have a productive day if it kills me! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! After days and days of clouds, it's now clear and bright. The forecast is - again - for "partly cloudy" and there's a chance of afternoon storms. But the probabilities seem to be mostly north, and the temps in the mid to upper 80s; so it looks like we're finally going to have a lovely summer day.
Yesterday: It was a busy but very nice day. My friend picked me up in the morning (and - surprise - I was ready! LOL!), and we went to a meeting. It was a fun and productive meeting. I even won a prize in a contest (although I'm still waiting to hear whether or not I might default on it! LOL!). After the meeting I went with her to a tasting party. The main thing I learned there was that I need to cultivate some very rich customers! LOL! It was pretty late when I got home, so we went up to the local restaurant for dinner.
Today: I slept a little late this morning, but not too much. I did a few random cleaning jobs before even turning on the computer. Yay. Those of you who know me - some have been with me on this newsletter for quite a few years - you know how I follow a Christmas prep plan. Well, folks, it starts today! This first week is the porch. Since it was cleaned really good recently, there are only a few things I'll need to tackle ... that may or not happen today! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. The forecast for today is for mostly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy. Hmmm. Not quite sure how that works! LOL! But, it'll be unseasonably cool in the upper 70s, and possibly mostly rainy.
Yesterday: I decided to wait until next week for the car work, since I don't have any long range driving to do (all appointments are local). I managed to accomplish 2 "major" projects - finally took a big load of trash and recyclables to the dump; and finally took a big pile of *stuff* upstairs! LOL! Otherwise, just a normal day of routine things and too much computer time. :)
Today: I'm leaving early (riding with a friend) to go to a Chocolate team meeting out of town. In the afternoon I'm "observing" my friend do a party ... hoping to learn some tips! I won't be home until late afternoon, so that'll be it for today. I'm hoping someone will call (better yet, come by) and check on DH, but I sort of doubt that will happen. Oh well, he'll be fine. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's cloudy again, but will be in the low 80s. There's still a chance of showers and storms throughout the day. That's been the forecast for several days, but very little rain has been here. Considering how fast the grass - and weeds! - are growing, it's probably ok. Still, a good soaking all day rain would be nice - especially if the sun came out after! :)
Yesterday: The day turned into more of an adventure than we anticipated! On the way to DH's appointment, the car suddenly overheated. It cooled, of cocurse, while parked; but when we left, it started heating again. I stopped at a gas station (needed gas anyway), and we waited for it to cool down again. I went to add water - and it needed very little! Weird. :) So, we drove to DS's shop - with no more trouble. Since everything seemed fine, we went on to lunch, then came home. At some point the car is getting a new radiator; but that was just odd! LOL! It was fairly late by the time we got home - and what a great excuse (as well as the cloudy skies) to not get anything done! LOL!
Today: I was hoping to get the new radiator installed today; but as it gets later into the morning, it's looking like my mechanic won't have time today. I won't be straying far ... only as far as the trash dump! A lot of things are starting to add up that I should be doing. I wonder how many I can find an excuse NOT to do today? LOL!!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's partly cloudy, but the sun keeps peeking through. The temps are slowly rising, mid to upper 80s today. There a chance, of course, of afternoon showers.
Yesterday: Once again, I did little things around the house, but didn't really accomplish anything "major". For now, Im in a "holding pattern" ... just keeping up with routine stuff.
Today: DH has his regular weekly appointment, and I will run a few quick errands while in town. This afternoon I'll probably take a (very big) load of trash to the dump. My "quiet time" (which seems to be most of the time lately! LOL!) will be to reassemble a notebook that Maggie pushed on the floor ... how dare I occupy HER napping spot! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's going to be a little warmer, but still only around the mid 80s. The forecast is for mostly cloudy; but so far it's actually only faintly "milky" and sunlight is pouring in my window. There may be showers or storms by afternoon.
Yesterday: Although I did spend too much time right here at the computer, I got a lot of little things done. Laundry is caught up, all dishes caught up, sheets changed and washed ... just ordinary stuff. And since I spent so much time here, at least I paid some bills! Not fun, but at least that's done. :)
Today: I have more "bits and pieces" to try to catch up. I've already gotten some vacuuming done (early, before my energy left! LOL!). I have things to take upstiars to storage before the heat comes back; I'm thinking it might be time to start bringing a few fall decorations down! And I might .. *gasp* .. cook today! But then, I might not. LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's still overcast, but so far it's not raining. There may be random showers later; but it will only be in the low 80s, so a nice trade off. :)
Yesterday: Since my day started so very early, I was a bit "off track"; but I managed to get a few things done (laundry done and put away, kitchen cleaning, etc.) By afternoon it had quit raining, and by late afternoon the sun even peeped out; but by then, I had no momentum! LOL! I fixed us a hodge-podge supper (trying to feed several "picky" eaters), but no one went hungry. :)
Today: It's still dreary enough to have no energy, but I will try to get a few things done. It's cool enough to take the Red/White/Blue decorations upstairs, and try to get started on the fall things. I also think this just *might* be a good day to mop the kitchen! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It started out well before daylight pouring rain, but has slowed to a drizzle now. It's supposed to start clearing soon, with only a few random showers by afternoon. Today will only be low 80s, and it feels lovely outside right now!
Yesterday: The morning was a bit slow, and I didn't do much that I should have. We had thunder storms mid day, and it was so dark! By early afternoon the rain (mostly) stopped, so I went to the "party". It was actually nice, and there was good food there! LOL! On the way home I went by and checked on the dog again (she's still fine). By dinner time another DGS got here (had been at a friend's house). Even so, it was a quiet evening.
Today: This day has started out a bit odd, but hopefully I'll get my mind back on track soon. I got up very early, because I never know what time the supply truck is coming. And I think you all know I don't function well on rainy days. (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! LOL!) There's dishes and laundry and general "stuff" to be done, as well as the boys to feed. They're perfectly happy watching TV and playing with Legos and Lincoln logs - but DH isn't very happy with their choice of TV, so tries to stay in bed longer! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Today will only be low 80s - wow! It's overcast now, and will be cloudy all day with a good chance of showers and storms. Earlier this morning there was even a tornado warning (pretty far north of me, into VA). The fronts that keep bringing violent weather also *seem* to be ushering in fall. Dare we hope for a milder fall this year?
Yesterday: I confess, it was a mostly fairly quiet day. I did get a bit of laundry done, but that's all (well, other than my "routine" stuff). I worked more on "quiet" stuff - updating some household notebooks, scanning and filing receipts. I went to town to check on DS's dog (she's fine, just lonely), and picked up a few lunch foods. In the evening, DH, DGS and I went out for pizza, and then went back to check on the dog again. She's still fine, but happy for a few minutes to get out and run! LOL!
Today: I have almost nothing planned for today except a "party" in the afternoon (Pampered Chef - the friend having it has come to mine, so it's only fair to support her. If it's not storming of course!). I've mentioned before, I don't function well on "gray" days. DH is sleeping late (because he stayed up late watching a movie). DGS is happily eating cereal and watching cartoons. Hmmm ... this just might be a great day to re-watch a good movie! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast is for mostly to partly cloudy - but there's sunlight pouring in my window for now. It will "only" go to upper 80s today. I had to step out earlier to move sprinklers a bit, and it was wonderful! Of course, there is the usual chance for afternoon showers or storms.
Yesterday: It was a busy and amazing day. In the morning, the bug man came, and was able to locate more "ant trails" (because some have already been eliminated). So we might actually have them all gone now. I hope! LOL! Then in the afternoon, not only did my gardening friend show up - but a lady I recently met came over with her husband and sister. Between them, they cut all the gray (except the steep ditch), and ran the weedeater (which hadn't been done all year - because I don't have one! LOL!) around everything that needed it. My friend weeded in the garden, and got another basket full of tomatoes and peppers. That's amazing considering the heat and bugs have killed some of the plants. Then, in the evening, one of the "bonus" grands was brought over for the weekend. All in all, it was an extraordinary day! :)
Today: I think it will be a much quieter day! LOL! DGS9 is happily eating cereal and watching cartoons. I'll be "attending" an on line seminar later this morning. In the afternoon I'll go to DS's house in town to check on his dog (he had to go to an out of town funeral for the weekend). After that, DGS and I may make some cake pops. I'm fairly sure there's nothing more exciting going on! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today will be low to mid 90s, and at least mostly dry through the afternoon. It will be increasingly humid though, and with another cold front coming, there could be evening storms.
Yesterday: It was a bit of a busy day. We went to town for DH's weekly appointment, then went by the auto shop for a few minutes. After coming home and getting lunch, I went back to town for a hair appointment. Then I went to Wal-Mart for a few items and some groceries. In the evening I managed to get a bit of sewing done. OK, not much - but some. :)
Today: I'm not at all sure what today will hold. The bug man is coming for another follow up in the late morning. I believe the ants might be coming in around the old (many years non-working) dishwasher. I really think that needs to be removed! After that I'm not sure; but it looks like grandma's taxi might be in service! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, and looks like there's a good chance it'll stay that way all day! Yesterday afternoon a lot of really severe storms crossed the state again; but today will (probably) be quiet. It'll be in the low 90s, and maybe lower humidity too.
Yesterday: I ended up being a little busier than I expected, but not too much. I had to (yes, again), go run a few quick errands. I also got some laundry done, and a bit more decluttering done.
Today: This morning DH has his weekly nurse's appointment, and this afternoon I have a hair appointment. In between that - anything could happen! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, and already getting quite warm. Today will be low 90s; and though mostly sunny, there's still the chance of clouds building in for those afternoon and evening storms. Last night there were some very severe storms, but (as they usually are), way north of me.
Yesterday: I had a busy and productive day (for a change! LOL). I got all the pantry cabinets cleaned out, and reorganized. Now I actually know where things are - and hopefully I won't buy any more mayo for a really long time! LOL! I tossed a lot of out dated or rusted items, so in the afternoon took all that to the dump. Then I went to town to pick up refills; and later I got something again from the grill (my organizing friend also worked on the sink - the the blockage is farther up the line, so will take a plumber to fix.)
Today: This morning I'm going into town to take some $$ to my mechanic (my car needs a new radiator). Then I'm going to go pick up the pictures I had made of my grandson (wouldn't you know, they call when I get home from just being in town! LOL!). I don't know yet what I'll do this afternoon ... maybe cleaning. Or maybe something fun (like sewing or reading). :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast is for "partly" cloudy ... must be a different part, because right now it's clear and bright! There may be clouds later, as they're calling for a slight chance of afternoon or evening showers. It'll be low 90s, so warm but still a nice southern August day.
Yesterday: I had a to-do list (as always), and actually got most of it done. In the afternoon I took trash to the dump, and got a few groceries. As soon as I got everything put up, I went to the grill for supper. Yes, I know, that sounds silly - most of the groceries I got were drinks and sandwich (lunch) stuff. I'm avoiding doing anything to create more dishes until I can get someone to fix my sink drain! (isn't that a great excuse! LOL!)
Today: A friend is coming over to help me get my pantry cabinet organized. I have a feeling I'll have a lot of food pantry donations by this afternoon! LOL! In the afternoon I'll have to run to town for a refill and to pick up an order. Tonight - I'll be working on (are you ready for this???) ... my Christmas Organization Notebook! Yep, it's *that* time already. I'll be ready on time - will you? LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, sunlight pouring in my window. I know it won't last, but today will be mostly sunny. The temps will be in the low 90s, but at least a bit less humid.
Yesterday: I actually found a tiny little supply of energy and got several cleaning projects done! Yay! I also finally changed out the tree to a summer theme; did some (*gasp*) ironing, and got my desk neat again. I watched most of the closing ceremonies last night - what a party! LOL!
Today: The cats were even more active than usual last night, so I'm still sleepy. That sounds to me like a good excuse to not get stuff done. :) I do need to take a load of trash by the dump, and do a few quick errands in town; but I'll be staying closer to home at least. Hopefully today I'll finish up the cleaning I got started yesterday. I'm also hoping for a nice quiet spell in the afternoon to do some more sewing. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's still faintly overcast; but the forecast for today is only partly cloudy off and on, and a small chance of afternoon showers. It will be in the upper 80s, which is almost "cool" for August! :)
Yesterday: I had a very busy and nice day. I got everything loaded up and actually arrived at the venue for the show early - but it was open, so I was the first one to get set up. It was a very good show, many vendors and lots of shoppers. I did better than the past shows - at least I made back my costs! LOL! Plus - totally amazing to me - I won one of the raffles, so $150 worth of gifts from other vendors. Nice!! Shortly after I got home the Mary Kay lady brought my order by; and maybe 10 minutes after that - the rain came! I was too hot and tired to really accomplish much (haven't even unpacked yet). I did run up to the gril for "burgers and dogs" for supper.
Today: I hope (as usual) to have a productive day. I'm off to a good start (which is why I'm so late sending this out). The kitchen floor is mopped, dishes washed, a 2nd load of laundry going, and a week's pills counted. Then I had to rest! LOL! I have several more things on my list that I hope I get to today. But since I've already gotten some done - if I don't - well, there's always tomorrow! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's only just starting to be light out, but it seems to be fairly grayish. The forecast is for cloudy all day and probably showers or storms off and on, especially in the afternoon. At least the temps will be down, in the mid 80s.
Yesterday: It was a busy day, and I actually got several important things accomplished! (you may continue reading when you get over the shock! LOL!) Before anyone got to my house, I gave it an overall decluttering; I got the guest room as neat as I can for now; and I (**gasp**) vacuumed! The Mary Kay lady came by (I hope she never finds out I was calling her an Avon lady! LOL!), and I bought a new lipstick. The bug man came, gave a really good spray again where some ants were still coming in (not the kitchen at least). I took a load of trash to the dump; got all my supplies packed for the show; and made a batch of brownies.
Today: I think we all know I am NOT a morning person! :) But I'm up, the brownies are cut and in a container (samples), the cold stuff is packed, and DH's lunch is made and in the fridge for him. As soon as I shower and then load the car, I'm off for another day of adventure. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's overcast again, and today could bring showers and storms. It'll be *cooler*, in the upper 80s to low 90s (depending on rain and/or cloud cover).
Yesterday: I still didn't push myself enough, but I did get several small chores accomplished. I spent time doing something I rarely do - daytime TV! The Olympics were showing rhythmic gymnastics, which I find quite beautiful to watch. In the evening I went on a "quick" (not quick enough! LOL!) shopping trip. I got a necessary evil - a scale (DH is *supposed* to track his weight). If you're rude enough to STEP on one - they're rude back! LOL!
Today: This might be a pretty busy day; which will be good, since otherwise I'd not get anything done on such a cloudy day. :) I plan to try to get a bit more cleaning done this morning, and make a run to take trash to the dump. A lady is coming in the afternoon to give me a facial (and *try* to sell me stuff that's way too expensive!). The bug man is coming later for a follow up. The gardener was supposed to come today, but I think it might be too rainy. And, in all that, I need to get my supplies organized for a show tomorrow l I just got in a bunch a new products - it's going to be hard to decide what to take. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The clouds are gone, even if it's only temporary. Today will be low to mid 90s, and mostly clear at least until afternoon. The "usual" afternoon storms are possible of course.
Yesterday: DH had his "routine" appointment in the morning. We stopped to pick up a few refills, then got Subway sandwiches to take home for lunch. The afternoon was quiet, and I did some laundry, a tiny bit of decluttering, and read some. In the evening I helped a friend do a little cleaning and packing for a move.
Today: I've gotten a little earlier start this morning than usual, so I hope I'll be productive. I need to finish putting the red/white/blue decorations upstairs, clean the guest room (again - funny how it keeps getting messiest when I never have guests! LOL!), and get some prep work done for a vendor show this weekend. Hopefully, I'll find time (and motivation?) to sew some and read some. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's overcast, but not "dark" this morning. It's been raining but seems to have stopped for now. Today will be warm again, around 90 - possibly higher, but cloud cover could also keep it lower. There's a fairly good chance of afternoon storms again.
Yesterday: I didn't get as much done as I would have preferred, but I did push to at least have the basics covered. I did go pay the rent, too - that's a "biggie"! LOL! Once again, I stayed up too late watching Olympics (and still fell asleep before some of what I'd liked to have seen).
Today: DH has an appointment this morning. After that, we'll stop by the drugstore to pick up refills, and go through town to see DS. I think possibly later (because I don't "function" well on rainy days - and that's as good of an excuse as I can come up with! LOL!)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It was pouring rain earlier, but now it just calm but overcast. It will be low 80s today, and probably stay cloudy all day. There may or may not be more showers, especially later in the afternoon.
Yesterday: I had an absolutely wonderful day. I left early, went to my sister's house, and then with her to pick up her daughter and fur-kid. Then we rode up to our brother's house, and with him and our sister in law, we all rode up into the mountains into VA. We explored a gorgeous mountain side home, and had lunch in "Mayberry". :) We ran into a little rain on the way home, but only one really strong downpour. I got back home again just at the edge of dark, in time for evening routine. :) I sure hope we get to do days like this more often.
Today: Because I woke up to "dark and gloomy", I've been dawdling a bit, trying to figure out what this day will bring. I know this afternoon I'll have to go pay the rent. Other than that, I'm not planning much. I don't function well on dark damp days, so I think I will try to find something constructive to do. Or else just read a lot! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's actually just barely light right now, but looks fairly clear. The forecast is for partly cloudy this morning into more cloudy by afternoon. It should be right around 90, and with a fair chance of afternoon storms or showers.
Yesterday: My day took a surprising twist. A friend asked me if I didn't want to go shopping! LOL! I did rush around and actually finish a few chores here first. Then I picked up my friend and we went to a local indoor flea market. That was fun, even if it was hot!
Today: It's very early because in a few minutes I'm leaving to go to my sister's house. I'm riding with her and her daughter to visit our brother and sister in law. I'm really looking forward to this day! I've managed to arrange a series of people to come in and out during the day to "check up" on DH and make sure he gets meals and meds, plus keep him company. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! So far it's bright and clear, and will probably be the same most of the day. The high will be low 90s - what the weatherman called a "typical summertime day". With the heat and humidity, there may be afternoon storms. Those mostly seem to miss my house!
Yesterday: Despite the heat, I ended up having a reasonably productive day. It took a bit longer than it should have to get myself in gear in the morning, though I did get all the "usual" stuff done. I got gas, then went to the grocery store. I hadn't planned to do a "major" shopping - but then, I was there, so why go back another time? LOL! Then I stopped by the furniture store, and the guys managed to get 2 small cabinets loaded into the car. Note I said "guys" - as in it took 2 of them to load; but only one old lady to unload! LOL!! After getting the cabinets in place, and all the supplies properly put away (lots more room than I thought - yay!), we went out to dinner. DH had a craving for wings, so we went to our favorite place.
Today: I've already been busy, doing a few things around the house and getting laundry started. Today I hope to be a bit more productive than I have been lately! My "big" project - well, besides getting the guest room back neat now that the chocolate stuff has a home - is get the Red/White/Blue put away and summer decorations out and on the tree! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, and will be mostly sunny today. We're still hot, low to mid 90s; and there may be clouds bringing afternoon storms. In general, it's "normal" summer weather for NC.
Yesterday: We ended up having a fairly busy day. First, the bug man came, sprayed for ants, fleas, and other assorted nasties. Then we went to town to join DS for lunch (Mexican! yum!). When we got home, I did a little bit of straightening. The PT came in the late afternoon. Then we topped the day off going to my friend's house for her son's birthday .. lots of good food, and some good laughs. I almost stayed awake to watch Olympics late! LOL!
Today: Today I have to (as usual) run errands. I have to go pick up a cabinet (found on sale - half price - plus, it's tax-free weekend; it will be perfect for storing chocolate supplies!). I never got by the grocery store, and still want to get some of the deli meat on sale. My *plan* is to spend the afternoon putting up laundry, putting away supplies, and getting the guest room neat again! We'll see how much I get done, right? :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's starting out a bit overcast, but not "dark". It'll probably clear a bit, and today will be low to mid 90s. There is of course the ever-present possibility of afternoon storms.
Yesterday: After DH's appointment, we got almost all the errands done ... just ran out of steam with it so hot. We didn't get home until mid afternoon; so DH took a nap, and I worked on decluttering a few hot spots. The evening was, of course, for watching Olympics!
Today: Any time now an exterminator is coming - good bye ants!! Later I'll take a load of trash, then go into town (deli meat is on sale!). This evening a friend is having a birthday party for her son; I hope any storms hold off until after that! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. We're warming back up a bit, going to low to mid 90s today. The sky (the little patch I can see) out my window looks pale, but clear. There is a chance, however, of afternoon storms again.
Yesterday: I didn't get much done in the morning, but we had a busy afternoon. DH had a doctor appointment, which took awhile because they were busy; but it went well. Then we went to Chik-Fil-A for a late lunch - along with thousands of other people! LOL! I made a quick stop in Wal-Mart (was able to find an item I couldn't find at the one nearer home), and we headed back home. Later in the evening a friend came by for a visit; and took 2 boxes of books home with her! Yay! Other than that, I stayed up way too late watching Olympics. :)
Today: This morning is another appointment. Hopefully it won't be a long one - you never really know. Then I'll have a few errands to take care of while we're in town (I know, too many different little towns to keep up with! LOL!). I hope I get home in time - and have some energy left - to take a couple of things out to the barn. And then, again, it will be a watching Olympics evening. I'm not normally "into" sports, but I really enjoy the Olympics!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's started out overcast and rainy, but I'm already seeing signs of brightening. It will be upper 80s today - practically refreshing! LOL! The forecast is for showers this morning, and again by late afternoon.
Yesterday: The Dish guy got here by mid morning, and didn't take long to have the TV back working (problem turned out to be water in the outside connection!). I had gotten a load of laundry done before he even got here (yay me!), and most of the trash was already in the car. I dropped off trash & recyclables at the dump, then picked up a friend. We had a minor "mishap" with the car - it overheated. I had checked water (as instructed), but didn't get the cap back on tight enough. The problem was quickly fixed (though a more permanent solution is in the works). So, we got some groceries, sat around awhile, then I took her home! LOL!
I watched Olympics again (and I admit, even though I watched the "spoilers" in the evening news, it was still exciting to watch!).
Today: DH has a doctor appointment in the early afternoon. This is a local doctor, not an all day trip. After his appointment, we're going 2 towns over to the nearest Chik-Fil-A. YES, we are going to eat there today! :) If it's not rainy, I might to some shopping in stores I don't normally get a chance to go to Or, we might just come on home. :) It's a wait-and-see what happens day! LOL!
