Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's a bit overcast now, and today will be mostly cloudy with chances of showers or storms by late afternoon. It will also be low to mid 80s! Wow, what a change ... but these "see-saw" temps are fairly normal (though not usually so high) for spring in NC.
Yesterday: I had a wonderfully busy and productive day! With some help, most of my kitchen cabinets and my linen closet got cleaned and organized. I added 6 more boxes of *stuff* to the donations pile .. and then my friend (with a pick up truck!) took the Eleven boxes to the ReStore! I think she was afraid I'd chicken out and start retrieving things! LOL! I also took care of some chocolate business on line; and finished up in time to watch the DWTS results show. :)
Today: I have to go out later, to pay rent, pick up refills, and a few quick errands including groceries. I hope I can manage to do all before any storms move in. It would be nice to get home in time to do a bit of the cleaning that hasn't gotten done yet .. but if it's rainy, I wouldn't do it anyway (hey, any excuse works, right? LOL!).

Comment: I know the idea is to take pictures every day. But honestly, I don't even see many people at all. The ones who make me happiest are my grandchildren. So, I'm using pictures of 2 of them (no pix of the other 2) from last Christmas.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Although the forecast is for partly cloudy, as it has been for a few days ... right now it's lovely and clear! It will be mid to upper 70s, so warming back up again. No rain, though, so I will soon have to start outside watering!
Yesterday: I didn't do what I meant to do; but I stayed busy all day working on projects already started. I made a lot of progress on the sorting paper stuff, and getting my office area organized. It's all progress, regardless of the area. :)
Today: Someone is coming today to help me reorganize my kitchen cabinets. This will be a fairly big undertaking ... though right now I just can't imagine that they'll be any "better". I don't have a huge amount; but the real issue is that most of them are too high, and I can't put *everything* in the 3 little cabinets I can reach! LOL!

I am blatantly *stealing* this from my niece. Some days I take a dozen pictures - others I forget all about it. So, this will be an exercise in consistency. Since I read blogs in the morning, I missed the first day but will try to play catch up. :)

Comment: I don't especially like to have my picture taken. I'm not attractive, and I'm not photogenic.

Comment: I love color! The hard part is limiting how many pictures I choose. Maybe it was supposed to be only one? Oh well. :)
This is a wreath I bought at a craft show. It needs a lot of work, but I just love that lime green super wide ribbon!
This is a coffee table I found at a flea market. I dearly love the whimsical paint job on it!
This little fellow speaks for himself ... just a fun part of the Easter table setting.
This is my favorite hat box.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast said it would start out overcast - either that was very early or I slept later than I thought! LOL! It's a little cloudy, but mostly sunny now; it will go to mid 70s today. I don't think any rain is expected, so a nice day for open doors and windows!
Yesterday: While I didn't get as much done as I would have liked (maybe because I always have too long a list? LOL!), I did make a lot of progress on the paper project and general decluttering. My "office" area is finally starting to come together, and hopefully it will soon be neat and efficient.
Today: I plan to keep working on the paper and supplies; but my main focus today is general cleaning. I must get out the dreaded vacuum (LOL), and mop, and so forth. There aren't any doctor visits planned, but various things going on anyway. If I get cleaning done today, I can breeze through the rest of the week worry free. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's starting out overcast, but should at least partly clear by afternoon. Today will be low 70s, and without so much wind. It seems we're jumping right into April showers. :)
Yesterday: I had a very busy and tiring day, but got in some "retail therapy". Well, window shopping counts too! LOL! Even though it was raining fairly hard most of the morning and early afternoon, I did get all the errands on my list done (except that the local Wally doesn't carry the printer ink I need. Drat!). I also checked out a new store (really cute whimsical painted birdhouses and wall art), and trade show (made a lot of great contacts - even planned another party!). It was very late - and I was Really tired - by the time I got home, so I included a stop at KFC. :)
Today: I'm starting out at a much more relaxed pace, but I do hope to get several things accomplished. It's time to finish up that paper sorting project and get everything in place (and Not on the guest room floor!), so that's my main focus for the day. I also have a few seasonal things to try to remember - like changing furnace filters, and checking smoke detector batteries.
