Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Well, actually, at the moment it's still very foggy! LOL! But it's supposed to be in the low to mid 90s, and only partly cloudy. There's no mention of chances of rain at all today. Of course, that doesn't mean there won't be any! :)
Yesterday: DH had his usual weekly appointment, and they were super fast for a change. We made a quick stop by Lowes for some chemicals and hardware. :) I also made a quick stop by the vet, and got some flea medicine for the cats. We got home in plenty of time for the phone guy - which was good, because he was here promptly at 1:00. Good news!! He didn't need to run a whole new wire, just replace a corroded jack plate (replaced with plastic!). This might even solve phone issues we've had for years. :) The only "work" I got done was to finish up bagging some trash from the porch, and just general "neatening up". I did get a bunch of phone calls made: got an eye appointment at Duke (instead of the place 2 hours away I went to previously); updated insurance information (I get a "mature driver" discount! LOL!); got information about another vendor show. I did a little bit of sewing; but ran into a problem, so had to just walk away for a bit.
Today: DH has an appointment this afternoon. Before we leave I will get the trash bagged up .. again (how can just 2 people generate SO much trash???), and drop it off on the way to town. Rather than do anything "hot and sweaty" (good excuse, right?) I think I'll work on filling out some lists and forms and get more "to do" stuff blocked into my calendar. Maybe tonight I'll tackle that sewing problem .. or else pick up a different project (I have plenty! LOL!).

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's still faintly overcast, but as yesterday, light is shining through. Today will hover around 90, and be partly cloudy. Of course there's a chance - surprise! LOL - of afternoon storms.
Yesterday: I admit, I slacked off a bit. I did tackle several small areas to clean and organize; but I didn't really get to a lot of the things I meant to. The "porch project" is nearly done though, and starting today I'm trying out a new system to eliminate that problem. I made a quick run to town to meet a friend who had a back order for me.
Today: This morning is DH's weekly follow up visit, but we'll come straight home after. Someone from the phone company is supposed to come this afternoon to repair the one broken line. Since I have to be home to wait for him, I really hope I find a burst of energy and finish the porch project, and tackle a bit more of inside stuff that needs to be caught up. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. There's still a bit of cloud cover - bit it seems thin, as there is a lot of light seeping through. Today will be mid to upper 80s, but mostly cloudy (and probably quite humid, like yesterday was). The chances of rain are better where I am than north of me; but this time, it might be mostly south! LOL!
Yesterday: Considering going out, I actually got quite a bit done. The chores I put on my list (particularly the ones on "the Plan" list) all got done! We went out to lunch with DS, I mailed several packages, picked up an order, picked up med refills, and still managed to get another big load of trash taken to the dump. In the evening I did more sewing; but alas! my eyes got too tired for reading.
Today: The "big" plan today is to clean house. Really. I'm even going to get out the dreaded vacuum! LOL! In the late afternoon I have to run one quick errand in town, that will only take a few minutes. Hopefully I'll also get some done on the porch, the notebooks, and sewing. Gee, if I didn't waste so much time sleeping, I'd be fine! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. The clouds are back; but it will *only* be upper 80s today. It may or may not rain, especially in the afternoon.
Yesterday: I was productive again, but didn't get quite as much done as I had hoped. But the car has a lovely new radiator; laundry got done and all put up; the house is neat. I worked on sewing projects, a bit on the porch, and some on my notebooks. All in all, not bad - and anyway, any progress at all is still progress! :)
Today: I don't know how I keep accumulating so many errands! Geesh. But I have to pick up an order and some refills; deliver some catalogs for an upcoming party; and mail some more catalogs for another upcoming party. YAY! I will try to fit in things on all my different lists as well. I hope! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. I'm not quite sure what it's like out now ... woke up to fog! So it's either still a bit foggy (seems like some light leaking through), or a little cloudy. The forecast is for "partly" cloudy. It'll be warm again, around 90; and there's a small chance of afternoon showers.
Yesterday: I actually had a nice productive day! I know, I'm surprised too! LOL. I had a list of things to do, and actually did at least something on all but one thing. I even did some "baking" (sort of). I did some work on the porch (this week's project), and I got my organizing notebook assembled and partly organized. And .. ta da! ... I cooked a nice dinner. :)
Today: In a few minutes I'll head for town - my "baby" gets her new radiator today. I don't know if I'll get her back today or tomorrow - so no errands! :) I will continue some work on the porch and the notebooks; oh, and I will do some sewing, and also read some (joined a book club). I'm going to have a productive day if it kills me! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! After days and days of clouds, it's now clear and bright. The forecast is - again - for "partly cloudy" and there's a chance of afternoon storms. But the probabilities seem to be mostly north, and the temps in the mid to upper 80s; so it looks like we're finally going to have a lovely summer day.
Yesterday: It was a busy but very nice day. My friend picked me up in the morning (and - surprise - I was ready! LOL!), and we went to a meeting. It was a fun and productive meeting. I even won a prize in a contest (although I'm still waiting to hear whether or not I might default on it! LOL!). After the meeting I went with her to a tasting party. The main thing I learned there was that I need to cultivate some very rich customers! LOL! It was pretty late when I got home, so we went up to the local restaurant for dinner.
Today: I slept a little late this morning, but not too much. I did a few random cleaning jobs before even turning on the computer. Yay. Those of you who know me - some have been with me on this newsletter for quite a few years - you know how I follow a Christmas prep plan. Well, folks, it starts today! This first week is the porch. Since it was cleaned really good recently, there are only a few things I'll need to tackle ... that may or not happen today! LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. The forecast for today is for mostly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy. Hmmm. Not quite sure how that works! LOL! But, it'll be unseasonably cool in the upper 70s, and possibly mostly rainy.
Yesterday: I decided to wait until next week for the car work, since I don't have any long range driving to do (all appointments are local). I managed to accomplish 2 "major" projects - finally took a big load of trash and recyclables to the dump; and finally took a big pile of *stuff* upstairs! LOL! Otherwise, just a normal day of routine things and too much computer time. :)
Today: I'm leaving early (riding with a friend) to go to a Chocolate team meeting out of town. In the afternoon I'm "observing" my friend do a party ... hoping to learn some tips! I won't be home until late afternoon, so that'll be it for today. I'm hoping someone will call (better yet, come by) and check on DH, but I sort of doubt that will happen. Oh well, he'll be fine. :)
