Good Morning! Saturday June 18, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It was very pleasant out early for watering, but will go to mid to upper 90s today. There's always a "chance" of showers; but really, no forecast for rain for at least another week.
Yesterday: I didn't get everything on my "to do" list done, but a lot of it anyway. I got a few small errands done in town, but spent most of the day at home, trying to catch up on some "odd jobs". At Christmas I pack away framed pictures when I decorate. I finally finished putting them back out! (some years it takes me until August - and I start over in November! LOL!). I got a lot of paperwork completed, and a few decluttering bits done. Not a lot got done outside, but I have kept up with watering where the sprinklers don't reach.
Today: Again I'm planning to catch up around here. It's a dialysis day, but not work, so I will probably get grocery shopping done. My "project room of the week" is the den (or family room, or what ever you want to call it - the room with the TV! LOL!). I've recently mostly decluttered, but there are a few spots to tackle; as well as just general dusting and vacuuming. Oh joy. LOL!

Today is "International Sushi Day" ... "Work@Home Fathers Day" ... "World Juggling Day" ... "Evacuation Day (Egypt)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught."
-- Sir Winston Churchill

"Although golf was originally restricted to wealthy, overweight Protestants, today it's open to anybody who owns hideous clothing."
-- Dave Barry

"People will buy anything that is one to a customer."
-- Sinclair Lewis
