Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's bright and clear, all clouds gone away for now. It'll be a hot day, low 90s; but less humid. More storms are on the horizon, but today at least is lovely!
Yesterday: My day did not turn out like I expected. Gee, what a surprise! LOL! First the supply delivery came very early. Then in the late morning a PT came to work with DH a bit. Then in the afternoon an OT came to work with him. I did get some small jobs done in between, and some laundry done. Last night I did a fairly successful "experimental" pizza. :) I watched a new show about dogs - thinking I really like it. What are the chances it'll get cancelled quickly? LOL!
Today: I just found out last night that the PT and OT are coming back Friday. So, I guess today I need to go run all the errands. There are refills to pick up; rent to pay (not due til tomorrow, but rather get it out of the way while I'm out). I'm sure there are other things, I haven't looked at my list yet. But, I woke up early, so the dreaded kitchen floor is finally done! :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. I woke up to rain, and it's been pretty steady all morning so far. We seem to be getting the outer edges of Beryl, which is definitely easing the water shortage issue. It'll be cooler, only around 80 today' and the rain should taper off by afternoon.
Yesterday: The days going to clinic appointments are always long and boring! The clinic claimed they were running pretty much on time - and DH was called back an hour later than his appointment. I wonder what "slow" would have been? LOL!! Of course, we got out in time to hit the evening traffic - trip home took twice as long as usual. We stopped for take out dinner at the grill on the way.
Today: I hope to get busy, although I know I don't do well on rainy days. I'm way behind on getting cleaning done, and have a few extra projects I need to tackle as well. I hope I get at least some done! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Right now the sun is out,, although it is mostly overcast. The forecast, once again, is for mid 80s, mostly cloudy, and afternoon storms. I'm not really sure how much of the weather is being effected by the storm south of us; but this is the first time in over 100 years there've been 2 named storms before the "season" even started. Is this an indication?
Yesterday: It was a very quiet day here. Because of a restricted diet, we didn't do anything to "celebrate" the holiday. I did get a couple of book cases sorted, and have more books to donate. But that's about it. :)
Today: We leave in a little while for Durham again. DH has another test (they really do LOVE tests!!), and I have no clue how long we'll be there. So, taking bottled water and an e-reader. :) And, of course, will have my phone - just in case any nieces or friends happen to be working and have time to pop over to the clinic. LOL!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Today will be mostly cloudy, but right now the sun is peeping in and out a bit. It'll be mid to upper 80s, humid, and possible scattered afternoon storms. Our "seasons" are out of kilter. Hurricane season officially starts Friday; but we've already got a second named storm that could affect the NC coast later in the week. "They" say it'll be a "normal" season; but "they" guess a lot! LOL!
Yesterday: I had yet another day of not getting much done. It was gloomy and hot and humid - and that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! LOL! I spent a fair bit of the afternoon watching TV (more like dozing through not-so-interesting programs) or reading. It's been a long time since I did that; I'm working on not feeling guilty! LOL!
Today: Technically today is a holiday. I'm wearing red-white-and-blue. But it's a very much stay at home alone day for us, so I'm trying to be a bit more productive. By afternoon when it's stuffy and hot I may not get much done, but I'll give it a shot anyway. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's overcast, but there's a fair chance it will be partly sunny later. Today will be "cooler", mid to upper 80s; but very humid. There will likely be afternoon and evening storms, but "widely scattered" (which pretty much means hit-or miss! LOL!)
Yesterday: I confess, I completely "blew off" the day. I just did not get things done at all. I'm using heat as an excuse! LOL! I did get a good sized load of trash and recyclables taken to the dump, and other quick errands. And I did manage to make chicken-and-pastry for dinner (and NO, it was not homemade pastry! LOL!). I read a lot though. :)
Today: I have no idea what I'll get accomplished today. I've gotten off to a slow start; but who knows, I might get a burst of energy. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. I woke up to cloud cover, but it's quickly clearing; the forecast is for mostly sunny. It'll be another hot day, upper 80s to low 90s; but it will be breezy and less humid, so more comfortable.
Yesterday: As usually happens, few things go like I think they will! LOL! So, I ended up not getting much of the cleaning done; but other things did get done. My grass is cut; a visiting nurse did an evaluation for PT for DH; and an order got delivered. I got red and blue lights on my tree - but will probably take them off and start over! LOL! Little bits and pieces got done, even a load of laundry done and put up. It was a pretty good day, but hot and sticky and less productive than I would have liked.
Today: I already got side tracked this morning, so off to a late start. But, it's a weekend and a holiday. :) I'll do what I can and not worry about it for now. I will have to make a quick trip to town to dump trash, get a few (very few) groceries, and pay the guy for grass-cutting. After that I'm hoping to get by with not leaving the house again until Tuesday! Well, we'll see if that works! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast for today is "partly sunny" ... not sure what's the difference between that and "partly cloudy"! LOL! The sun is peeping in my window off and on, and there are some heavy looking clouds. But, the forecast doesn't mention any rain, just warm - upper 80s - and humid. Did summer sneak in when I wasn't looking?
Yesterday: I had great plans to get a lot done - but mostly, I didn't. LOL! I did get one closet cleaned out (and discovered a couple of "lost" items that DH and I were both happy to find). I got the spring ornaments off the tree. And I did a load of laundry. Yep, that's about it! LOL!
Today: I'm really hoping for a good energy level to get done today. There are still (as always) errands, but I'm trying to put them off as long as I can. If I can get my basic cleaning done, then I can pretend it's a holiday weekend here too! LOL! I'd love to just spend some time reading and sewing. Oh wait, I guess I need to get off the computer first! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Right now the sun is shining brightly, in and out of clouds. It will be a hot (low 80s) and muggy day, with once again possible afternoon storms. There were some pretty strong storms yesterday, though nothing too bad at my house.
Yesterday: It turned into a really long day, but appointment days often are like that. The morning appointment took an hour longer than it was supposed to, and that put the whole day on "rush"! LOL! We managed though - even with going to the wrong place for the second appointment and getting directions. :) That appointment ran long too, and we got into not only "rush hour" (more like "stop-and-crawl hour"!!), but went through a hail storm! By the time we got to a favorite restaurant I was more than ready for a break! LOL! After that, the evening was ok (evening though my favorite came in 2nd on AI).
Today: Since I've had to go somewhere every day, this will hopefully be a day to stay home, catch up on some housekeeping, and stick to easier stuff - saving up energy for tomorrow to finish whatever cleaning I don't get done today. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's a little overcast, and the forecast is for an entirely cloudy day with morning showers and possible severe afternoon storms. It'll be hot and muggy, in the low 80s (unless enough rain cools things down!)
Yesterday: We had a very busy day! I took trash to the dump; picked up a car part; picked up an order from a friend; then got a few groceries. Then in the afternoon, we took the car to the shop (where the a/c was repaired in less than 10 minutes!! Yay!); then went on and got an oil change. Since we still had time, I stopped by a store to replace a broken phone - and ended up with not only a new phone, but a new (Way cheaper) account! We managed to get home between storms. :)
Today: This will be another busy day. DH has a routine dialysis appointment this morning; as soon as that's done we head for Durham. I'll drop off some chocolate orders, and then DH has an afternoon appointment with yet another doctor. I expect we'll stop for dinner on the way home - though that might depend on both weather and traffic!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Once again, the forecast says mostly cloudy; but right now it's clear and bright. Today will be low to mid 80s and humid; and if those clouds show up, the afternoon could get stormy. They've said that for 2 days and we haven't had a drop, but maybe today.
Yesterday: We did a lot of running around without accomplishing a lot. I did get the refills picked up. We went to the repair shop, but the man there didn't have the part we need - our "climate controller" isn't controlling! LOL! I took the old part to a store where I can get a discount, and he is ordering the part. So other than that, I did a fairly large grocery shop. It was late afternoon when we got home, and I sort of flaked out!
Today: It might be another very busy day, but you never know how long things might take. The part is in, I have to go pick it up. I'm meeting a friend about an order in early afternoon; then we'll go see if the repair shop can get the part put in (if he's not busy, it won't take very long). Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast is for "low clouds" in the morning and then mostly cloudy; but right now the sun is peeping out. It's supposed to be low 80s, humid, and probably afternoon storms today. Yesterday, though rain was predicted, was lovely all day!
Yesterday: I had a partially lazy day. Since I had been out so late, it was harder to get back into routine. Still, by afternoon I managed to come up with a list of things I needed to get done - and did them! :)
Today: This morning we'll take the car to see if we can get the a/c fan fixed. I'll also need to stop to pick up refills. It's hard to plan much besides that, since we don't know how long the repair will take. I will have a book with me! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The forecast for today, as of yesterday, was for mostly cloudy and rainy. This morning is bright and clear so far - but an early season (actually, I don't think the season has "officially" started yet) tropical storm is just off the coast a little south of us. It'll be warm, maybe low 80s, and humid; and clouds or even showers could move in by afternoon.
Yesterday: It was a very long, very tiring, and very nice day. The vendor show was another disappointment, even though it was very well advertised. But it was fun to meet some "new old friends" and make new ones. I met some ladies who organize events, so that could lead to more productive shows. Then I rushed home, did what I needed to get done, changed clothes (woo hoo, get to "dress up"!) ... and got my Mother's Day treat. I got to see "Wicked", which I most thoroughly enjoyed!!
Today: While it's temping to just be lazy after a busy day yesterday, I do have things that need to get done. Next week seems to be lining up to be busy; and I don't want to allow my house to get messy again just because no one sees it! LOL! There's always a closet or cabinet or something that needs to be organized ... not to mention piles of sewing to do, dozens of books to read! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It looks like the rainy spell has finally left us - for a day at least! LOL! Today is supposed to be mostly sunny, and mid to upper 70s. It would be a good gardening day if so much else wasn't going on! Another rainy spell appears to be coming tomorrow for most of next week.
Yesterday: A lot of the day was spent running around seeing about car stuff. Some small things (that could lead to big problems) are taken care of. We can't get the a/c fan fixed until Monday. Well, people survived before cars had a/c, right? LOL! I also had to take trash to the dump, get gas, and get some change for the weekend. The rest of my energy was spent getting chocolate stuff organized and "dry goods" into the car.
Today: This is going to be a Very busy day! It's starting quite early. I have a few morning things to do, and then finish loading supplies into the car. I have a vendor show from 9:00 to 2:00, and then have to pack up and leave quickly. Then I'll need to get a take-out dinner for DH on the way home; unload the car; get tonight's dialysis set up; and change clothes. Tonight I'm getting a Mother's Day gift of "girl's night out", being taken to a musical, "Wicked". I'm really looking forward to that!!

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's still overcast; but they're saying any rain today should be south of us. Probably. :) It'll be a little cooler, mid to upper 70s; and "only" partly cloudy by afternoon.
Yesterday: The day was mostly a wash-out. I had car trouble again. It's an old car, and I know ya gotta expect problems, right? But still, frustrating - especially when they turn out to be not terribly serious. For example, turns out all I need is a radiator cap! Well, also, there's a belt that's about worn out. But since I didn't find out anything until late afternoon - so couldn't do anything then. I did get a few things done around the house, but couldn't get "into" any big projects. At least I managed to dig something out of the freezer and put in the crock pot! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Even though the sky is "pale", there's sunshine coming in my window. It's not warm out yet, but it is a bit humid. The forecast changes daily lately; so now they're calling for today to be mostly cloudy, very warm (around 80ish), and yet again chances of afternoon showers and storms.
Yesterday: I did a few things around the house to keep everything nice and tidy. In the early afternoon we left for DH's appointment. The orthopaedist took another X-ray, and said the ankle is healing nicely and to start putting a little weight on it, gradually. On the way home we stopped at a nice seafood restaurant for an early dinner. I spent a lot of the evening laughing at the cats antics as they get to know each other and try to establish ranking. :)
Today: This is supposed to be a gardening day, but with the wonky weather I don't know if we'll be able to do yard stuff or not. Also, I have to make yet another trip to town (It would have been better to fit this errand in Tuesday, but I wasn't notified in time. Oh well). It's medical related, so whatcha gonna do? LOL! I may make a quick grocery stop too ... maybe I better put cleaning out the freezer on my list soon! I know there's dinner possibilities in it - I just can't get to them. Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Even though the forecast is for mostly cloudy and showers, at the moment it's only faintly "milky". The showers and storms will likely come later in the afternoon, as the day heats up. We might get to low to mid 80s today.
Yesterday: I did a few little pick up bits and pieces, as well as the "regular" morning routine. By late morning, I headed into town. I picked up a "cat house" (not really a carrier, but a very nice soft "cage"), then met my friend ... and brought Butter home. Poor kitty is very confused, but it'll be ok. Also later in the afternoon the nurse stopped by to drop off some things, and visit a few minutes.
Today: DH has an appointment this afternoon to get his ankle X-rayed. I do hope it's not raining then. This morning, I'm enjoying watching these 2 cats get to know each other, and the new cat (yellow - name is "Butter") start getting brave enough to explore. It may take a few days (or more?), but I believe they're going to get along fine. :)

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's very gray and "heavy"; but we need rain, so this is good. Yesterday we got a bit of rain, not a lot. Today will be warmer, low 80s; but a better chance of more showers and storms by afternoon.
Yesterday: I did not do what I expected, but I did find a few small ways to be productive. I took a bit of trash to the dump, made a bank deposit, and picked up some fresh fruit at the grocery store. I didn't go upstairs .. I just couldn't face it on a gloomy day! LOL! But I put a lot of work into gathering chocolate supplies in one place and getting sorted what I'll need for the next show. It's nice that the house is clean enough - for a few days at least - to not worry about it! :)
Today: I have to do a few more errands (in another direction of course .. living between towns means it's hard to consolidate errands!!) today .. pick up a refill, pay for a gift ordered, and pick up a new carrier - so I get the new kitty today! At least, I hope so! LOL! The rest of the day will be devoted to trying to make him feel "at home" with us.
Yesterday: I did not do what I expected, but I did find a few small ways to be productive. I took a bit of trash to the dump, made a bank deposit, and picked up some fresh fruit at the grocery store. I didn't go upstairs .. I just couldn't face it on a gloomy day! LOL! But I put a lot of work into gathering chocolate supplies in one place and getting sorted what I'll need for the next show. It's nice that the house is clean enough - for a few days at least - to not worry about it! :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's a little overcast, but not dark and so far not "drippy". Today will be around the mid 70s, and possible showers later. Hmmm ..all the seasons seem to be off, we're getting our "April showers" in May! LOL!
Yesterday: I had a very quiet day. I took care of all the "normal" things that must be done; and then did something I very rarely do ... watched some daytime (HGTV) TV! I didn't get the new kitty yet; so I just vegged a lot. :)
Today: I actually don't quite know yet how today will go. I do know the supply delivery will come during the afternoon. Before that I will probably run to town to get a few groceries (the perishables that just keep running out! LOL!). Then, depending on time frames (and energy levels), I'll find a closet or cabinet I haven't cleaned out yet. :)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's overcast, but not "dark" this morning, and will probably stay mostly cloudy all day. But, it will be warm, mid to upper 70s, and only s small chance of a shower late in the afternoon.
Yesterday: I had an extraordinarily busy day, but it all worked out in the end. I got all the last minute cleaning things done, and even took trash to the dump and went to town for subs and ice (which didn't get used! LOL!). One of the vendors didn't show up, and only one guest ... out of well over 150 invited ... came. But, we all had fun getting to know each other and getting a really good look at each other's products. I made more sales than at the public show last week! LOL! Plus, it was extra nice to have my DS, DDIL, and 2 grands here.
Today: The wonderful thing is, my house is clean! :) There was almost nothing I had to do once everyone packed up and went home (and we even had left over subs for dinner). My only goal for today is to work on a list of plans for the next 4 months; and put up the laundry done yesterday morning. Later in the afternoon a girl I know is bringing me her cat, because she has to move. So, Maggie will have a playmate.
I hope all of you Mothers out there - even the ones who "mother" fur-babies - have a wonderful day!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's refreshingly cool now, and will go to the mid to upper 70s later. Today will also be mostly sunny, so another perfect spring day!
Yesterday: A few things didn't go as planned, but in the end most things got done. The teen I was going to hire to mow grass didn't want to, but I found someone else who did a great job. I got the errands done, and even took time to relax long enough to get nails done! The day ended much later than planned, but we ate at a favorite place we haven't been to in a long time, so it was all very nice.
Today: This afternoon is my big "party". Five other vendors of various lovely things are coming, and we've invited a lot of people. I'm doing some last minute cleaning this morning, but mainly everything is ready. I sure hope someone comes to the party! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's comfortably cool now, and will go to mid 70s. There's no rain in sight, and nothing more than those high puffy little clouds. It's a perfect NC spring day!
Yesterday: The day got a bit crazy, but in the end a lot got accomplished. The car is fixed (it was not a "big" problem - starter - but the mechanic had to wait for someone to bring him the right tools!). The puppies are gone (a friend took them to a shelter that was delighted and said they'd very quickly find good homes). The house is clean. The yard is getting prettier each day. I just hope anyone actually sees ii! LOL!
Today: I'll be finishing up more "detail" work, and running a few more errands (that I didn't have time for yesterday - post office, bank). A friend's son will mow grass tonight (since DH still can't), and we'll all go out for pizza later (yay, no cooking again! LOL!)

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. After several days of clouds and storms, it's cleared up and we have gorgeous spring weather! It's clear and bright, and will be mid to upper 70s today. The rains from last night left everything washed fresh. :)
Yesterday: I got nearly everything on my work list done, but didn't get the errands done. The car wouldn't start. Something has made the battery run down (I checked, didn't leave anything "on"! LOL!). I did very good for it being a bit of a gloomy day, and things are starting to come together.
Today: First thing this morning (any time now), someone is coming to jump the car and try to figure out why it ran down. Then it will be a day for a major house cleaning (with some help), and possibly gardening too. Later in the afternoon I will try to get those errands done.

Good morning! It’s a wonderful morning! It’s completely overcast, and there’s a high probability of rain today, especially in the afternoon. It’ll be warm, upper 70s, but probably fairly humid. I keep hearing we’re still in a rainfall deficit, so we need the rain.
Yesterday: The day turned out better than I had hoped for. I got some discouraging news in the morning, but people are working with me to “fix” the problem. DH’s appointment, and our errands, didn’t take too long and we were back home by early afternoon. I dug up a spurt of energy from somewhere, and got nearly everything on my list done! Yay!
Today: It’s a lot harder to work (for me at least) on a dark and rainy day; but I have a lot to get done, so will just have to push to do it. I have to run out yet again (nurse “forgot” to call in a refill that is needed), but a rainy day won’t encourage me to linger out either! LOL!

Good morning! It’s a beautiful morning! Today will be upper 70s to maybe low 80s; but it will be humid. This morning is starting out faintly overcast, and the forecast for today is mostly cloudy and possible late day showers or storms with a new “front” coming.
Yesterday: As usual, I didn’t quite get to everything on my list; but since I did add some things, I feel like I made good progress. DH was getting “cabin fever”, so we rode to take trash to the dump, and then up to the grill for some (take out) supper. Yay, no dishes! LOL!
Today: This morning is a dialysis nurse (routine follow up) appointment. After that we’re going to Lowe’s for some chicken wire – to keep puppies out of my garden! Then in the afternoon I have to continue with my on-going list; or at least, that’s the plan! LOL! I tend to have a hard time getting motivated when I’ve been out and about for a few hours, so I’ll really have to push myself to get things done!

Good morning! It’s a beautiful morning! After the gray and wet weekend, the bright sunshine is most welcome! Today may be partly cloudy, but nothing like the weekend. It’ll be a bit cooler, upper 70s, maybe 80. It’s looking like those super hot days have receded for awhile at least!
Yesterday: My shopping excursion lasted longer than I expected; but we didn’t leave until after 1:00. I didn’t find the table I wanted; I can borrow one until they’re back in stock. I looked at others, but I’m not going to “settle” for a table that’s way too small, or too heavy to move.
Anyway, just looking around was fun. I have come to the conclusion that the “in” color this spring is turquoise. Nice, since I love it! LOL!
Today: I plan to keep up with “routine” cleaning all week. But I’m working my way through a list of projects to get done before next weekend. Today I think I will tackle (*shudder*) cleaning out the refrigerator! LOL! I don’t know what else yet, will have to consult my “to do” list.

Good morning! It’s wonderful morning. It’s starting out very gray and just a touch drippy, but will probably clear some as the day goes on. The hot spell is over, and today will only be mid 70s. Lots of storms crossed the state last night, and we got a lot of rain; but I don’t think more is expected for today.
Yesterday: My show went fairly well, in that I met a lot of interesting people, and learned a lot more about doing vendor shows. We didn’t have huge crowds (there were many many other events going on across several counties); but I did get a bit of a feel for how people tend to react to my chocolate display. The show was supposed to be until 400 – but at 2:15 we packed up and barely beat the storms! LOL!
Today: Because I have a lot lined up for next week, I’m taking today a bit easier (yes, I know, that’s what I always do! LOL!). I’ve realized that if I’m going to do vendor shows (and I’m booked for 4 more so far), I need a bigger and sturdier folding table. Wow, an excuse to go to Target! LOL!! Plus, I’ll need a few groceries, but only some perishable items (well stocked on other stuff). The shopping trip won’t take long; but I’ll have to wait and see if it’s too wet to do anything in the yard today.

I hope I’ve got all I need – this will be the first one, and I’m so afraid of forgetting something important! LOL!
Today: I’m up and dressed very early, trying to get myself organized for the show. I’m nervous and excited all at once. If any rain holds off until late in the afternoon, then the cloudy day *could* benefit us, if it doesn’t scare shoppers off. In any case, it’s going to be an interesting experience!

Yesterday: I kept busy all day; and while I didn’t quite get everything on my list, I got most of it done and some extra things. It does feel good to see everything start coming together. I even got my sewing room a bit better organized! The big question, of course, will be can I keep it this way? Well, sure, if I don’t sew or cook or anything! LOL!
Today: It’s the beginning of the month, so rent day again. And there’s at least one refill ready for pickup. My morning has been a bit more disorganized than usual, but hopefully I can get back on track and get all the errands done. Today I also have to make sure I have everything lined up for a vendor show tomorrow!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's going to be another hot day .. we could even set a record high for the date in the low to mid 90s. It's bright and clear now, and will probably stay that way until late afternoon.
Yesterday: It was also in the low 90s, and too hot to do much outside. I took a car slam full of stuff and met a lady who was tickled to have the donations for a fund-raiser yard sale (for a county animal shelter, so of course I was glad to help!). I then popped in and out of several stores for odds and ends (you know, those silly things you often don't think of - like the sproingy part of a tissue holder!). And - oh Joy!! - I finally found a reasonably priced bubbler for my garden. So the only other thing that got accomplished was to get that assembled and working. :)
Today: I shouldn't have any errands of any sort today, and really hope to knock out quite a few of the small projects. I don't currently have any "big" projects going on - but then, I have multiple vendor shows and chocolate parties coming up, so that should keep me busy enough! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. At the moment it's clear and bright, though there is still the possibility of afternoon storms. Today we'll be in the low 90s! Yikes, our seasons sure are confused! LOL!
Yesterday: I'm slowly chipping away at a long "master list" of projects to get done. I had to take trash to the dump, and run a few quick errands in town (including groceries - again!) Some days it doesn't feel like much is accomplished, but then I go back and check off my list .... and it seems better! :)
Today: I'm actually doing fairly well at keeping up with a daily morning routine. This afternoon will be divided between delivering a bunch more boxes of donations, a little detail cleaning while I have the weather for it (want to guess how much I hate cleaning blinds - even more than I hate vacuuming! LOL!), and possibly some gardening (though I admit most of that will be left to someone who can stand the heat and the bugs better than I can!). Hopefully it will end up a productive day.

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's a bit overcast, but the sun keeps peeping in and out; and there should be more and more sunshine by the afternoon. It's going to be upper 80s, near 90 today!! Wow, the hot days just keep coming earlier and earlier (though the local weather guru insists this is not necessarily an indication of another super hot summer to come). We might get showers or storms by late afternoon ... and probably will since I finally have the timed sprinklers up and running! LOL!
Yesterday: A trip to a doctor in Durham always makes for a very long day, but it really wasn't too bad. We left super early since we weren't 100% sure where the office was. As it turned out, we found it and had over an hour to spare. We ate lunch at an "upscale" grill. It was way more expensive than we would normally have chosen - but there was no BoJangles around! LOL! We each had bison .. and it was excellent!
The doctor's visit ended up taking longer than expected; but since he got a very good report, it's ok. He was taken off one more medicine, and doesn't even need to go back unless his B/P starts getting too high or something else develops. Even the drive home wasn't too awful, even though a LOT of traffic.
