Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's a bit overcast, but the sun keeps peeping in and out; and there should be more and more sunshine by the afternoon. It's going to be upper 80s, near 90 today!! Wow, the hot days just keep coming earlier and earlier (though the local weather guru insists this is not necessarily an indication of another super hot summer to come). We might get showers or storms by late afternoon ... and probably will since I finally have the timed sprinklers up and running! LOL!
Yesterday: A trip to a doctor in Durham always makes for a very long day, but it really wasn't too bad. We left super early since we weren't 100% sure where the office was. As it turned out, we found it and had over an hour to spare. We ate lunch at an "upscale" grill. It was way more expensive than we would normally have chosen - but there was no BoJangles around! LOL! We each had bison .. and it was excellent!
The doctor's visit ended up taking longer than expected; but since he got a very good report, it's ok. He was taken off one more medicine, and doesn't even need to go back unless his B/P starts getting too high or something else develops. Even the drive home wasn't too awful, even though a LOT of traffic.
Today: Much as I'd like to stay home all day, already several errands have cropped up. I need to take trash to the dump - *maybe* I'll get ambitious to clean out the fridge first! LOL! Then I have to go on into town for a few quick things. I'm hoping none of that will take long, and that I find some reserve energy for getting things done at home too! :)
