Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's a bit early - sun isn't quite up yet, but the edges of sunrise are glorious! In just a little while I'm riding with a friend from work to a flea market. I'm thinking this will be a lot of fun. Of course, when I get home I will have to work twice as hard to get done what I need to today! LOL! But that's ok. By tonight it's supposed to be rainy; and might be tomorrow. At least it's no longer bitterly cold. I hope the easing of the temps is for everyone else too (haven't seen a weather report).
I got a little bit packed up last night, but didn't take anything upstairs. As I said .. will have to work harder tonight! :)

Good Morning! Friday January 15, 2010
Good morning! It's a gorgeous morning! It's clear, the sky is pink and gold, and I can see the sun reflecting on thngs in the yard. It's going up to 60 today!! (and that forecast is actually north of me, to could be even higher). Finally, that long bitter cold spell is over. While there's still a lot of winter left, surely the rest will be "normal" for us.
I managed to pack up a few more boxes last night, and even got one upstairs. Yes, only one ... but it was heavy! LOL! Maybe it will take longer than I thought; but since I still get to enjoy everything for a while longer, it's all good. :)
The kitchen sink is (finally) unclogged ... so tonight I will wash a lot of dishes! LOL! Maybe I'll do some laundry. Hopefully I'll pack up another box or two. Or, maybe I'll just watch TV. :)

Good Morning! Thursday January 14, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today we'll have upper 50s, bright and clear, for the first time in nearly 2 and a half weeks. They're also saying, hopefully, it will be warm"er" through the rest of January. If I can't have snow - I want spring! LOL!
I actually managed to get 2 trees upstairs last night, packed up several smaller boxes ... and watched AI (well, mostly watched! LOL!). Every year I say I'm not going to watch the auditions, because so much of it is painful to listen to. But, the silly old man at the very end of the show made it all worth while.
Tonight I'm aiming for packing up the nutcrackers. That's always hard to do, but it's time. The room will look so empty when they're gone; but it's time to put snowmen (talk about optimism! LOL!) on the mantle.
Today is "Ratification Day" ... "Dress up your pet Day" ... "Organize your home Day".

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's supposed to be mid to upper 40s today, bright and sunny; and even warmer is on the way. I'm ready for the kitchen sink to thaw out, and the heater to quit running! LOL!
Last night I did actually get a load of laundry done ... but of course (as all who know me expected), mostly watched AI. I see a few good contenders; and quite a few that made me wonder "WHY"?? LOL! They're sending those kids to Hollywood, knowing they'll be sent right home again. Oh well, they wouldn't let me be a judge. :)

Good Morning! Monday January 11, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear out; and though it's very cold (cold enough to freeze our water for the first time!), it's also going into the mid 40s today. Everything (including pipes!) will begin to thaw out. It may be partly cloudy as the day progresses, but all in all, not a bad day for a Monday! :)
I didn't accomplish as much as I would have liked; but I actually got more done than I thought I would. The upstairs is (mostly) neat and ready for Christmas things to be stored. The "hard" part, of course, will be putting all my pretty things into boxes to not be seen again until next November. The outside stuff will stay up quite awhile, as it's too cold to deal with. Eventually I guess I will unplug (most of) the lights! LOL!
Today is "National Clean Off Your Desk Day" ... "Anniversary - "Designated Hitter" Rule" ... "Coming-of-Age Day (Japan)" ... "Plough Monday (UK)" ... "Independence Day (Morocco)" ... "National Unity Day (Nepal)".

Good Morning! Sunday January 10, 2010
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. The sun is out, it's clear and bright ... and still very COLD. Cold for NC that is ... but it looks like this spell will be easing for all of us soon. (they're even saying we could get to above normal by next weekend!). Despite the cold, yesterday was a fairly productive day. I did have a lot of help! :) We got the upstairs room over half cleaned and organized - it won't take me long this afternoon to finish that. I'll bring empty boxes down, and maybe even get a tree or two put up. Yesterday we also got a "leaky" window (cold air blowing in around the a/c) sealed up. Another great use for bubble wrap! LOL! And, we got trash and plastics taken to the dump.
Today I will finish laundry, do some cleaning, work on the upstairs project, clear off the dining room table (well, that's a "maybe" project), and try to finish updating my 2010 calendar.
Today is "National Cut Your Energy Costs Day" ... "Anniversary - Women's Suffrage Amendment".
