Good Morning! Sunday May 15, 2011

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's still cloudy and drippy, though the forecast isn't for showers until afternoon. Of course, they've been known to bse wrong! LOL! It should be low 80s today; and they also say "partly" cloudy, so we shall see how it goes.
Yesterday: It was a busy day, though not a very productive one. I did get all the "usual" morning chores done, even getting all the trash bagged up (a lot since I'd been doing some cleaning). After taking DH to dialysis, a GF and I decided it was too risky to try to get in the garden (the carpenter even had a huge tarp hung over the edge of the porch!), so we checked out a few of our favorite thrift shops and flea markets. We didn't find all that much - which is probably a good thing! LOL! During the afternoon we had several "severe" storms pass through, but they didn't last long. Later in the evening it rained .. and apparently lasted off and on all night!
Today: We're leaving very early to go down to see our 13 year old granddaughter get baptized. Then we'll get to take the two grandchildren out to lunch. Because of the forecast rain, we'll probably head on back home by early afternoon ... but if it clears up, we *might* even stay until later in the evening. I know, it's unusual for me not to have a firm plan. :)

Today is "Eastern Pacific Hurricane Season" ... "Nylon Stockings Day" ... "Peace Officer Memorial Day" ... "UN International Day of Families" ... "Hollyhock Festival (Aoi Matsuri - Japan)" ... "San Isidoro Day (Mexico)" ... "Independence Day (Paraguay)".
