Storms

Everyone complains about the weather, but no one does anything about it.

Gee, ya think? LOL!!

We need rain. Really. I, personally, have a lot of flowers and 'maters, as well as a lot of plants in containers. They all love the rain.

But I do not love thunder and lightening. OK, let me "refine" that statement. When I was a child, there was an incident that left me terrified of lightening most of my life. I'm not so scared now, though still respectful. And thunder is ok (and yes, I know, there's no logic there since you rarely have one without the other). My problem (for lack of a better word) is that the storms keep making me turn off the computer!!!

I couldn't send my morning newsletter because of storms. (I got on long enough to send a quick notice out). It stormed during the day at work (of course *those* computers didn't go off!). When I got home, I barely got email downloaded, then had to get off. The storm passed ... and now, less than 2 hours later, there is that ominous rumbling again.

I've read my email. I have a few I need to answer, but I guess they're not urgent. But I brought some work home ("brought" is relative - I emailed it to myself) that I need to do.

So, for now, I guess I'll watch Bones, eat dinner, and try again later.
