Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright and clear, and the forecast for today (unless it changed last night - I fell asleep, never heard it) is mostly clear and near 70! Lovely day, which is great, because there are outside things going on today!
We had a great, if short, trip. We celebrated Mama's birthday - Saturday we had cake and ice cream, played card games (which Mama loves to do!), a lovely visit. Mama and Daddy got to visit a bit with their great-grandchildren (my grands), which was nice for all of us. I always enjoy the family visits ... seems more and more so as I get older.
Today, which I originally thought would be resting and finishing up decorating, is going to be busy. Family is coming for a delayed Thanksgiving dinner (turkey is already in the oven); and more family coming to visit as well. I just love it! LOL!
There are 25 days left until Christmas!
Today is "Advent - First Sunday" ... "Electronic Greetings Day" ... "UN International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People" ... "John F. Kennedy Day (Massachusetts)".
Quotes of the Day:
"love you the more that I believe you have liked me for my own sake and for nothing else."
-- John Keats
"The only sure thing about luck is that it will change."
-- Bret Harte

In 1929, U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Richard Byrd and three crewmen became the first people to fly over the South Pole.
