Good Morning! Saturday March 19, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! While it won't be quite as warm as yesterday's record setting 84, it will still be unseasonably warm in the upper 70s. I know for the next few months it'll be a lot of up and down ... so I plan to take as much advantage as possible of the lovely days like this!
Yesterday: It was a lot "quieter" day. I got a lot more (nearly all) packing up done, and my Easter decorations out. I had the doors open, and it felt nice and fresh and "spring-y"! The physical therapist came by to do an evaluation on DH. In complete opposition to what everyone else has said, he said to NOT try to do too much too quickly. Nothing like being confused! LOL! DH did spend a little bit of time in the yard - no walking, but enjoying the sunshine.
Today: Today is a dialysis day, so the morning is a bit rushed. So many things to remember! I have more errands and shopping to do while he's having treatment. If all goes well and we're not so late getting home, there'll be time to tackle some things in the yard too. I love DST! :)

Today is "National Quilting Day" ... "Perigean Spring Tides" ... "Purim (Jewish - begins at sundown)" ... "Saint Joseph's Day" ... "Swallows Return to San Juan Capistrano Day" ... "Worm Moon" ... "Anniversary - Operation Iraqi Freedom" ... "Save the Florida Panther Day (Florida)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition."
-- Timothy Leary

"The reason lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place is that the same place isn't there the second time."
-- Willie Tyler

"Level with your child by being honest. Nobody spots a phony quicker than a child."
-- Mary MacCracken

"It's about what YOU are going to do with the short time you have left on this earth."
-- Hugh Macleod
