Good Morning! Wednesday March 16, 2011

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Last night's clouds are still hanging around, but we seem to have missed out on rain this time. By later in the afternoon, they say, the clouds will begin to thin out. It will be upper 60s today, a lovely mild open-the-doors day.
Yesterday: We had a fairly busy day. I got all the paperwork together I needed, and we got to the dialysis center exactly on time. It took about 45 minutes to go through all of their paperwork, but it's a nice place - clean and bright, and the people I met were friendly, courteous, and helpful. I did get a lot of the diet guideline help I was wanting, even a printed shopping list! While DH was there, I got a lot of errands taken care of; and I also managed to reschedule some appointments that were missed in the last few weeks. I got back to pick him up with time to even slip in a little reading (I read about 2 dozen books during the hospital time!!!) Meals are a little awkward with the strange schedule, but we managed, and were both ready for an early night.
Today: Once again, the home health nurse is supposed to be coming, and us with no idea when. As usual, I have a list of things to get done, and hopefully start getting the rest of the Christmas stuff packed away! :) I did get my St. Patrick's Day things on the mantle at least. By this weekend, I'm hoping for all Christmas completely packed away, and start getting Easter out!

Today is "Curlew Day" ... "Freedom Of Information Day" ... "Goddard Day" ... "Lips Appreciation Day" ... "Ta'Anit Ester (Jewish - begins at sundown)".
