Good Morning! Friday April 9, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. There are some lingering clouds from last night's storms, but they'll move out this morning; I'm already seeing bright spots out the window. It will "only" go to mid 60s today ... right where it's "supposed" to be! :) The storms moved through, thunder and lightening in the middle of the night, and lots of lovely rain. I sure hope it's washed away some of that pollen.
Last night I was - I confess - lazy. I watched 3 favorite shows ... none of them reruns! Tonight I'll try to make up for it, as I have a very long to-do list for the weekend; and it starts tonight!

Today is "Jenkins's Ear Day" ... "National Cherish an Antique Day" ... "Winston Churchill Day" ... "Martyr's Day (Tunisia)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Parents were invented to make children happy by giving them something to ignore."
-- Ogden Nash

"Never eat more than you can lift."
-- Miss Piggy

"Doubt whom you will, but never yourself."
-- Christine Bovee
