Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. Today will be clear and mild, upper 60s. A truly perfect day!
Yesterday: We decided to go out to eat, and DH wanted to run an errand. What should have been 15 minutes took nearly an hour, so not as much got done as I hoped. I did get a couple of hot-spots cleared (again), and some minor organizing done.
Today: My friend and I are going to the Fair! I'm really excited. By tonight I'll be too cold, too hot, too tired, probably too bloated ... (what a coincidence that it's "world food day"!) and we'll enjoy every minute! LOL!
Kitten: She can't decide between napping and climbing somewhere she isn't supposed to be! The "not supposed to be" is winning. :(
Sewing: I won't get to this today.
Reading: Nope, no reading time today either.
Today is "Dictionary Day" ... "Fall Astronomy Day" ... "Sweetest Day" ... "UN World Food Day" ... "World Food Day".
Quotes of the Day:
"Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel from coast to coast without seeing anything.
-- Charles Kuralt
"Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good."
-- Alice May Brock
