Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. We really are having the gorgeous fall weather I've been waiting for! Today will be mid 60s again, bright and sunny. No rain ... or "too" cool ... for nearly a week.
Yesterday: It was a perfectly beautiful day, nice to be out in. Which is good, since we spent way too long being "out"! LOL! I did get a few cleaning chores done at home, and a very important business call taken care of. (or should that be "of which I have taken care"?). We had a shopping list of just a few specific items ... many hours later, after 5 stores and 2 meal stops, we had all but one item! We still came back here and got a few more details done before I took my friend home.
Today: I am going to get my niece, and the 3 (including GF, whom I could not leave out after all the help she gives me!!!) of us are going to the Farmer's Market. This is a wonderful day for that, and hopefully it will still be teeming with lovely fresh fruit and veggies we can load up with (with which we can load up?). If we get home before too late in the afternoon, we will start getting the outside decorations out of the barn to work on tomorrow. Later tonight (a promise to my niece for her birthday) we'll veg out with the TV with chips and dip! :)
Today is "Postman Day's (Mexico)" ... "Domino Day" ... "National Donor Sabbath Day".
Qoutes of the Day:
"From now on, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put."
-- Sir Winston Churchill
"One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done."
-- Marie Curie
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
-- Eleanor Roosevelt
"If the universe is bigger and stranger than I can imagine, it's best to meet it with an empty bladder."
-- John Scalzi
