Good Morning! Sunday November 14, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. We'll have another in a string of perfect fall days. This one will be a bit warmer, upper 60s or maybe even low 70s. It might get partly cloudy later; for now, it's clear and bright!
Yesterday: We had a very productive day. I got a few things done around the house, and then my friend came over later. With a LOT of help, the big (really, really big) outdoor tree is up and quite secure (unlike last year when it got crooked! LOL!); we got a good start on some of the other outdoor things, and figured out what we'll do for the rest. We did have to come up with an alternate plan for one area ... the "fake arch" we used got squashed by a fallen tree, and I can't get anyone to come cut up and remove the tree. Oh well, it's going to look great anyway. :) Last night I took my friend back home, and then took my niece back to her apartment. I even drove myself home (a major accomplishment! LOL!) without getting lost, or taking any unplanned detours because I got in the wrong lane!
Today: I hope to finish up a few more cleaning chores; and then we're going to the Flea Market. Hopefully we'll find what we're looking for quickly. Tonight I have a quickie sewing project I want to get started on, and, then work on the quilt some more. More decorating will wait until my next series of vacations days! :)

Today is "Loosen Up, Lighten Up Day" ... "Spirit of NSA Day" ... "UN World Diabetes Day" ... "Children's Day (India)" ... "Remembrance Sunday (UK)".

Qoutes of the Day:
"Human beings are perhaps never more frightening than when they are convinced beyond doubt that they are right."
-- Laurens Van der Post

"The problem with the designated driver program, it's not a desirable job, but if you ever get sucked into doing it, have fun with it. At the end of the night, drop them off at the wrong house. "
-- Jeff Foxworthy

"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power."
-- Washington Irving
