Good Morning! Monday October 12, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful Monday morning. It's cloudy, will be cool (mid 60s) and maybe rainy. We need rain, so this is not a bad thing. :)
Yesterday was, as I thought it would be, very busy. My house is clean (all except finishing vacuuming - because DH decided to take a nap! LOL!); I got some cookies made, and a little bit of craft stuff done. I had a nice but all too short visit from friends, and also a surprise visit from a step-son (well, OK, he really came to see DH ... but he did a big favor for me while here!).
Hopefully sometime today DH will get the car back. Tonight I plan to get sewing done, that I didn't get to all weekend.

Today is "Clergy Appreciation Day" ... "International Moment of Frustration Scream Day" ... "Dнa de la Raza" (Celebrate in Mexico, Farmer's Day).
Quotes of the Day:

"There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes."
-- Doctor Who

"One man practicing sportsmanship is better than a hundred teaching it.
-- Knute Rockne
