Good Morning! Saturday October 3, 2009

Good morning! It is a gorgeous morning! The early morning clouds have all moved on, and it's bright and clear. It should only go to low 80s today, so will be great for getting outdoor things done.
Last night I finally got back into my projects. I tied and clipped threads (unfortunately, found some places to be hand stitched - but that won't take long); wound bobbins; and did a bit of sewing on several projects.
This morning I've already gotten a load of laundry done, and the kitchen floor swept and mopped!! YAY!! Of course, I still have to go mop it again ... one of those strange floors that never really looks clean. Mopping it shiny helps! LOL! Today is the day we planned to start putting up outside decorations (after making the mistake of waiting too late last year, and it got too cold). I think there might be some "extra" excursions in the afternoon before the decorating starts! :)

Today is "World Card Making Day" ... "Anniversary - German Reunification" ... "Chusok (Korea)" ... "National Foundation Day (Korea)".

Quotes of the Day:
"By common consent gray hairs are a crown of glory."
--George Bancroft

" A sense of duty is useful in work, but offensive in personal relations. People wish to be liked, not be endured with patient resignation.
-- Bertrand Russe
