Good Morning! Sunday October 4, 2009

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! Yesterday turned out to be much warmer than I expected, but was a lovely day just the same. I think today is supposed to be a bit cooler (upper 70s), though I missed the revised weather forecast last night. It should be a really lovely day for being outside, which is what I plan to do!
We didn't get the outside started yesterday, but sure had a lot of fun polishing up ideas for it (and going on a "window-shopping" spree!!! Some stores have a lot of Christmas stuff out - yay!! LOL!) I did, however, get a lot of the cleaning things done I needed to. Today we will tackle some of the outdoor things; but since the grass has not obliged us by stopping growing, we'll wait a few more weeks for some of the things that will go in the yard. :)
I got so excited seeing so many ideas yesterday ... and there are only 82 days left until Christmas!!

Today is "Intergeneration Day" ... "Ten-Four Day" ... "World Communion Sunday" ... "Anniversary - Sputnik" ... "Independence Day (Lesotho)".

Quotes of the Day:
"If you wish to know what a man is, place him in authority."
-- Yugoslav Proverb

"The best defense against the atom bomb is not to be there when it goes off."
-- Anonymous
