Good Morning! Friday January 29, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. So far there are streaks of clouds moving in, but it's not dark or gloomy. The forecast for today is very strange. It's much cooler than yesterday, highs in mid 40s but dropping. A storm is moving in tonight ... it's completely a guessing game as to who will get what. A "line" goes right through my county to the north of me ... I pretty much expect I'll oly see sleet and ice, and no snow. I am not very happy about that, but I have a feeling that complaining to the weatherman would NOT help! LOL!
I finally dug out a little electric heater, so now my room is not so cold. And, last night I did laundry. With ice coming, there's a very good chance of the power going out, so trying to make sure we're "prepared". That means no laundry or dishes piled up; plenty of bottled water; and food that doesn't require refrigeration or microwave. With a gas stove, we'll be OK as long as the gas doesn't run out! LOL!

Today is ""National Jigsaw Puzzle Day" ( http://www.JigZone.com ) ... "Carnation Day" ... "National Corn Chip Day" ..."French Fries Day" ... "Freethinker's Day" ... "Fun at Work Day" ... "Thomas Paine Day" ... "Anniversary - Seeing Eye (guide dogs)" ... "Admission Day (Kansas)".
