Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's all bright and white outside - sadly for me, it's all ICE! No snow here, just sleet (and still coming down). But the good news is, I got to the grocery store last night, and they weren't out of anything. LOL! The power has not gone out, but with the sleet continuing all day, it may yet do so. I'm about as ready as I can be I guess. I have plenty of water (in jugs for drinking water, and in buckets also), we still have gas (very low, but enough if we're conservative), we have food in the house. Now, if I was only about 30 or 40 years younger so I could go outside and pretend to enjoy this stuff!! LOL!!
Today I will try to get more of the Christmas stuff packed up. It's already late (yeah, I know ... decided to stay under warm quilts as long as I could stand it! LOL!), but I will manage to get some of it done. If the sleet and cold keeps up as predicted ... I may well have 3 days to work in; just a wait-and-see situation. :)
