Good Morning! Saturday June 26, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's bright out, but sort of "milky" looking; and warm already. I think the forecast is for mid 90s and possible afternoon storms again. Last night storms moved across the state, again; only this time we did get a bit of rain. Not very much, but anything is gratefully accepted! :) The gardens (in and out of containers) seem to be quite happy anyway. Most everythng is thriving (pictures on my blog, http://goodmorningrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/ ).
Last nightwe decided to go out again ... what was planned hadn't thawed (amazing!), and we thought it would be nice to eat with a/c. Ha! The restaurant (small local place) had no a/c! LOL! But the food was good, and no dishes! :) We stopped to chat with the neighbor on the way home, and it got late. So, no sewing got done.
Today I have errands to do; I hope to get as much as possible done of the "routine chores" this morning, before it gets too hot. Then I have some easier inside projects to work on, including sewing, for the weekend. I have chairs to recover; photo albums to peruse (and lable if possible); books to read; sewing projects to work on ... so much to do, so little time! LOL!

Today is "Lunar Eclipse" ... "Strawberry Moon" ... "UN International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" ... "UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture" ... "Independence Day (Madagascar)".

Quotes of the Day:

"He who hesitates is not only lost, but miles from the next exit."
-- Unknown

"The most powerful factors in the world are clear ideas in the minds of energetic men of good will."
