Good Morning! Friday February 11, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! It's cold, but will go to upper 40s, maybe even low 50s. It's bright and clear, and just a nice lovely day.
Yesterday: It was very strange, it started snowing just as we were leaving. The roads never got "bad", but most of the drive was "gray" with flying snow. The trees along side the road (what I could see) where gorgeous! By the time we got to Durham, it had stopped .. and by the time we headed home (2 appointments later), the sun was shining and all but the shadiest places were clear. We managed to miss the evening traffic .. just barely; but got home in time to keep working on re-organizing my computer room.
Today: In a little while we're heading DS's house for DGSs birthday. I'm a bit scatter brained this morning (meaning, more than "usual"! LOL!)), so don't seem to be moving fast enough to get packed and the car loaded. I'm not looking forward to yet another drive; but it will be a nice relaxing (well, mostly, except for their not-quite-normal dog) weekend. :)

Today is "Be Electrific Day" ... "National Shut-In Visitation Day" ... "Pro Sports Wives Day" ... "Satisfied Staying Single Day" ... "White Shirt Day" ... "Anniversary - White Shirt Day" ... "National Foundation Day (Japan)" ... "Independence Anniversary (Vatican City)" ... "Youth Day (Cameroon)".

Quotes of the Day:
"I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence, but it comes from within. It is there all the time."
-- Anna Freud

"There ain't no free lunches in this country. And don't go spending your whole life commiserating that you got raw deals. You've got to say, 'I think that if I keep working at this and want it bad enough I can have it.'"
-- Lee Iacocca

"I dote on his very absence."
-- William Shakespeare
