Good Morning! Thursday February 3, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's not clear, but not "dark and gloomy" either. It will be cloudy all day, but no rain expected until tomorrow. It'll also be low 40s, about a 30 degree drop from yesterday!
Yesterday: It was a work day, but I did manage to get to the grocery store on the way home. Dinner was "easy", finishing up the potato soup, "sliders" to finish up a bit of roast, and salad. Jimmy managed to go through a good size stack of tapes and DVDs ... although, he didn't cull out much! LOL! But, that little bit is neatly on the new shelves now. :)
Today: It's finally my half day! I hope to get the oil change done (not quite overdue, but will be soon if I can't get in there), and then work on the upstairs a bit. I have to finish organizing and stashing the boxes up there so I can start taking Christmas up. Even *I* can't get by with calling all of the trees Valentine trees! LOL!

Today is "Chinese New Year" ... "Four Chaplains Memorial Day" ... "Anniversary - "The Day the Music Died" ... "Bean Throwing Festival (Setsubun - Japan)" ... "Heroes' Day (Mozambique)".

Quotes of the Day:
"A little more moderation would be good. Of course, my life hasn't exactly been one of moderation."
-- Donald Trump

"The great thing in this world is not so much where you stand, as in what direction you are moving."
-- Oliver Wendell Holmes

"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
-- Henry David Thoreau
