Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's overcast and cool ... only supposed to go to upper 60s!! Yes, that's right, SIXTIES!! What a change! They're calling for showers most of the day too. Saturday - much to my surprise - we had several brief showers. Then last night, in the middle of the night, a storm moved through (woke me up!), dropping more rain. You can practically hear the grass growing! LOL! Funny how I just got my fall decorations up, and now we have fall weather. Lovely!!
In the end, I got most of what I planned done this weekend, even with our unexpected trip. So, it turned out well, especially since everyone is well and home now.
I guess tonight it will be time to catch up on a few things; shouldn't be hard, since we're still in reruns! LOL!

Good Morning! Saturday August 29, 2009
Good morning! It's a wonderful Saturday morning! It's getting late - and that's part of what makes it so wonderful: not getting up early! LOL! It started out overcast, but I see brightness peeping out every now and then; the forecast is for mostly sunny. This may be the last of the "hot" days for awhile, only low 90s. No rain predicted for today; yesterday we got a good soaking rain. Naturally, right at time to drive home! LOL! That's OK, we needed it, and it was without the theatrics this time. We may get more tomorrow.
Last night being Friday night, I chose "lazy"! (yeah, I know, what else is new! LOL!) I did get a few small organizational things done. Today I have some cleaning projects, and I am going to get out my fall decorations. It's my favorite time of year, and I'm ready for some fall color.

Good Morning! Friday August 28, 2009
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! That little touch of mist is back ... only barely enough to blur the edges of "yonder". It should be a touch cooler today, upper 80; and mostly cloudy. I can't even guess if we'll get a shower or not! But, cooler is ok.
I came home to a lovely surprise. My friend had come over and made a huge dent in the weeding in my yard! Oh wow, the gardens look so lovely now. And my late summer/fall flowers are starting to bloom, so there's lot of color out there. I didn't get much sewing done (only enough to say I turned on the machine! LOL!); but I did get laundry done, and a lot of phone calls (had to call Daddy to say Happy Birthday ... which was interesting, because he really can't hear. Mama gave him the phone, and he heard me yell Happy Birthday ... but didn't know who it was!! LOL!!).
This morning I got up a bit early (not early enough) to make brownies for a shower at work today. Of course I'm running late ... hoping the brownies make up for that! :)
Today is "Dream Day Quest and Jubilee" ... "Feast of Saint Augustine" ... "Race Your Mouse Around the Icons Day".

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! The sun is shining, and everything out my window has a layer of gold and glitter ... almost looks Christmasy!! LOL!! It will be one more hot (upper 90s) and humid day, with only a small chance of showers. After today, the temps start going down, and in a few days rain likely. I can hope for an "early" fall; or at least, temps in the 80s instead of 90s!
I finally got a lot of sewing done last night. I am halfway through phase two of a big project; and I hope to be through phrase 4 by Labor Day weekend. Good Morning! Wednesday August 26, 2009
Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's very foggy out ... today it's slower burning off; but, it's not too heavy to drive in. Today will be hot --mid 90s--, not much chance of rain. I'm sure it's waiting for the weekend! LOL! There are signs, though, of cooler weather coming. Fall is just around the corner! I wouldn't mind if it came earlier .. but not *too* early (that would spoil the fall color).
And again, I didn't get as much done as I hoped last night. I did catch up on a few emails I was behind on; mostly I watched AGT. There were, again, several acts I was very impressed with. And a few, not so much! :) I don't know if I'll watch results or not ... depends on how old tonight's reruns are! LOL!

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! They predicted a foggy morning, but it's already glowing under the sun and burning off. It will be a bit hotter today --low 90s-- and humid. Not much chance of rain today, either, but we still have puddles from the weekend rain. It's still summer, even though the kids are heading back to school.
I did a little bit of sewing last night; not as much as I wanted. I'm behind on answering emails too. Hmmm ....I think I need to find me some energy pills! LOL!! (j/k!!) Perhaps tonight I'll do better on at least one area! LOL!! I *think* AGT is on tonight ... or is it tomorrow? Well, something is on tonight. :)

Good Morning! Monday August 24, 2009
Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's foggy, but hopefully that will burn off soon. Fog is beautiful in an eerie way ... unless you have to drive in it! LOL! The forecast for today is upper 80s; where I am is usually a bit warmer, so maybe around 90. Again, there's a chance of afternoon storms. We had more again yesterday ... not as strong as Saturday, but still a lot of rain. My yard is so happy ... especially the weeds! LOL!
I didn't finish all that I planned to do, but enough of it that I don't feel terribly "behind schedule". A friend and I went to a flea market yesterday, and had a lot of fun just looking around. We came back here ... luckily before the storm ... and watched TV and cooked dinner together. It was a fun day.
Tonight, I have more sewing to do!!
