Good Morning! Saturday August 29, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful Saturday morning! It's getting late - and that's part of what makes it so wonderful: not getting up early! LOL! It started out overcast, but I see brightness peeping out every now and then; the forecast is for mostly sunny. This may be the last of the "hot" days for awhile, only low 90s. No rain predicted for today; yesterday we got a good soaking rain. Naturally, right at time to drive home! LOL! That's OK, we needed it, and it was without the theatrics this time. We may get more tomorrow.
Last night being Friday night, I chose "lazy"! (yeah, I know, what else is new! LOL!) I did get a few small organizational things done. Today I have some cleaning projects, and I am going to get out my fall decorations. It's my favorite time of year, and I'm ready for some fall color.

Today is ""According to Hoyle" Day" ... "More Herbs, Less Salt Day" ... "National Sarcoidosis Awareness Day" ... "Anniversary - Hurricane Katrina".

Quotes of the Day:
"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."
-- Edgar Allan Poe

"Those who flee temptation generally leave a forwarding address."
-- Lane Olinghouse
