Good Morning! Thursday August 27, 2009

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! The sun is shining, and everything out my window has a layer of gold and glitter ... almost looks Christmasy!! LOL!! It will be one more hot (upper 90s) and humid day, with only a small chance of showers. After today, the temps start going down, and in a few days rain likely. I can hope for an "early" fall; or at least, temps in the 80s instead of 90s!
I finally got a lot of sewing done last night. I am halfway through phase two of a big project; and I hope to be through phrase 4 by Labor Day weekend. Of course, there are multiple other projects also wanting my attention! LOL! So, since we're still in re-run season, hopefully tonight I'll make more progress(along with getting some laundry done, and calling Daddy to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!). :)

Today is ""The Duchess" Who Wasn't Day" ... "Independence Day (Moldova)".

Quotes of the Day:
"For most men life is a search for the proper manila envelope in which to get themselves filed."

"No matter what side of the argument you are on, you always find people on your side that you wish were on the other."
-- Jascha Heifetz
