Good Morning! Wednesday August 26, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! It's very foggy out ... today it's slower burning off; but, it's not too heavy to drive in. Today will be hot --mid 90s--, not much chance of rain. I'm sure it's waiting for the weekend! LOL! There are signs, though, of cooler weather coming. Fall is just around the corner! I wouldn't mind if it came earlier .. but not *too* early (that would spoil the fall color).
And again, I didn't get as much done as I hoped last night. I did catch up on a few emails I was behind on; mostly I watched AGT. There were, again, several acts I was very impressed with. And a few, not so much! :) I don't know if I'll watch results or not ... depends on how old tonight's reruns are! LOL!

Today is "National Dog Day" ... "Women's Equality Day" ... "Double Seven Festival/Chinese Valentine's Day (China)" ... "Heroes' Day (Namibia)" ... "La Tomatina (Spain)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do."
-- Confucius

"I went to a fight the other night, and a hockey game broke out."
-- Rodney Dangerfield

Today's birthdays include
