Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! That little touch of mist is back ... only barely enough to blur the edges of "yonder". It should be a touch cooler today, upper 80; and mostly cloudy. I can't even guess if we'll get a shower or not! But, cooler is ok.
I came home to a lovely surprise. My friend had come over and made a huge dent in the weeding in my yard! Oh wow, the gardens look so lovely now. And my late summer/fall flowers are starting to bloom, so there's lot of color out there. I didn't get much sewing done (only enough to say I turned on the machine! LOL!); but I did get laundry done, and a lot of phone calls (had to call Daddy to say Happy Birthday ... which was interesting, because he really can't hear. Mama gave him the phone, and he heard me yell Happy Birthday ... but didn't know who it was!! LOL!!).
This morning I got up a bit early (not early enough) to make brownies for a shower at work today. Of course I'm running late ... hoping the brownies make up for that! :)
