Good Morning! Monday May 3, 2010

Good morning! It is a beautiful morning! After a very hot weekend (it was still in the mid 90s yesterday evening), we have a "cool front" coming through. Today will "only" be lower 80s; and apparently cloudy. There's a chance of showers by this afternoon ... and I've increased the chances drastically by watering outside! LOL!
Back to work after a busy but nice weekend. Friday evening we went to the church play. Saturday my 12 year old granddaughter had a birthday party ... all I can say is, her parents are very brave! LOL!! And, I've heard enough "Guitar Hero" for awhile. :)
We got home late afternoon, and I managed to get the car unloaded, the suitcase unpacked, and laundry done. Tonight I'll be playing "catch-up" with all the other undone stuff, while watching Dancing!

Today is "Garden Meditation Day" ... "Lumpy Rug Day" ... "Melanoma Monday" ... "National Two Different Colored Shoes Day" ... "Paranormal Day" ... "UN World Press Freedom Day" ... "Constitution Day (Poland)" ... "Constitution Memorial Day (Japan)" ... "Day of the Holy Cross (Mexico)".

Quotes of the Day:
"I am looking for a lot of men who have an infinite capacity to not know what can't be done. "
-- Henry Ford

"Nobody can be exactly like me. Sometimes even I have trouble doing it."
-- Tallulah Bankhead

"I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me."
-- Noel Coward
