Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's clear and bright, and will be mid to upper 40s today. The "S" word is still in the forecast for tomorrow and Sunday ... but seems they're now saying less of it. Less is ok, but just a little would be nice. :)
Yesterday: It was frustrating trying to get things done, and a few things kept coming up that changed the plans. However, in the end, I got everything we needed loaded in the car, and we actually left "on time". The traffic wasn't bad, so the drive here was calm. We got here in time to have a relaxing evening with family. :)
Today: Even though I was first one up, almost everyone is up now and busy. The kitchen is small, and my DS and DIL are excellent cooks ... so I'm staying out of the way! LOL! I don't have any idea what is planned for today (other than a big dinner late afternoon) ... but now that we're here, we'll just go along with whatever. :) It's good to spend holidays (or any other time for that matter!) with family. I do wish there was a way to also spend it with my sister and brothers ... but that can't happen this year. I'm happy to be with grandchildren! :)
Christmas Day is tomorrow!!!
Today is "Christmas Eve" ... "Independence Day (Libya)".
Quotes of the Day:
"The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for."
-- Maureen Dowd
"Laughter is an instant vacation."
-- Milton Berle
"Government is too big and too important to be left to the politicians."
-- Chester Bowles
