Good Morning! Sunday December 19, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's still a bit overcast; but the sky is pale and "milky", not dark and heavy. Yesterday was only rain here; we did see a flake or two in Raleigh, but mostly sleet and rain. I missed the weather update last night: the one I have says "snow" for today ... but I don't think so! It will be upper 30s, and the clouds partly clearing later on.
Yesterday: . I managed to get a fair bit of decluttering done, and even got a start on decorating a tree. Then I went with my DIL and DGD to the Straight No Chaser concert. They are really fantastically talented young men (for anyone who doesn't happen to know - they are a group of 10 young men who sing a cappella (I think that's the correct spelling), who take their singing very seriously ... but not themselves!). I totally enjoyed the concert. And as a bonus, we were given permission (usually strickly against the rules in the concert hall) to take all the videos and pictures we wanted! So, I have several videos so I can enjoy them again, and share! We made one quick shopping trip on the way home; and I did very little last night.
Today: I'm "regrouping". The only decorating not done are some trees, and that will get done this afternoon. A few things are still not done outside, but the weather has kept that from getting done, and still is. I still have sewing to finish, and gifts to wrap. And, this afternoon, the plan is (hopefully) to make cookies! Lots and lots of cookies! :)
Christmas is 6 days from today!!!

Today is "UN Day For South-South Cooperation" ... "Anniversary - Christmas Greeting From Space".
