Good Morning! Thursday December 30, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. It's just starting to be daylight, but doesn't look like we'll see much sun today. It's startling to look out and still see so much snow! However, it should be in the upper 40s, maybe even low 50s, with chance of sprinkles. That will probably melt away a lot more snow - but there's still an awful lot there, and even still some icy places on a few roads.
Yesterday: I had a wonderful day. I got the grocery shopping done, and managed to come up with a lovely meal without cooking anything but eggs (which I totally mangled and ended up with odd lumpy deviled eggs. Oh well. LOL!). I got the laundry caught up, most of the house decluttered, and a few hot-spots worked on. My DS & his family came for the evening (and brought me an NC State nutcracker! YAY!) and we had a lovely visit, plus rode down to see the Christmas lights (and ride the train - COLD!!) one more time. And on top of all that, my brothers, sister, and in-laws --all of whom are currently in TX-- called and sang to me. It was a great day! :)
Today: I work half a day today ... it sure was hard to get up early! LOL! I'm meeting a friend for lunch, and then perhaps a bit of shopping (me? shopping? LOL!). Later some friends are (maybe) coming over this evening for a belated gift exchange.

Today: "Oh My! Day" ... "Falling Needles Family Fest Day".
