Good Morning! Friday July 22, 2011

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. It's extremely hot today - we're under an "excessive heat warning" today. I never even heard of that before! The"official" high predicted is 102, and could be a bit higher here (my house). Perhaps the humidity will spark some showers, but I'm not getting my hopes up! LOL!
Yesterday: As usual, on a dialysis and work day, I didn't get much done. I tried to work on a bit of decluttering ... and I wonder how I keep manage to get *cluttered*? LOL!
Today: There are a lot of things that need to be done, but other than getting rid of some trash I'll avoid going outside. I've got the morning watering going, and it will soon be done. No more watering will be done until late evening. The poor plants are looking wilty even with lots of water. I hope to get some "homework" done, and work on my current "room project". I sure hope I don't get a lazy spell today! :)

Today is "Pied Piper Day" ... "Rat Catcher's Day" ... "Spooner's Day".

Quotes of the Day:
"You've achieved success in your field when you don't know whether what you're doing is work or play."
-- Warren Beatty

"Just the knowledge that a good book is awaiting one at the end of a long day makes that day happier."
-- Kathleen Norris

"The reason lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place is that the same place isn't there the second time."
-- Willie Tyler
