Good Morning! Sunday July 31, 2011

Good morning! It's a wonderl morning. It's very overcast, and I think there might be chances of rain today. It won't be as hot .. "only" low 90s. :) I've got watering going, just in case. It's very humid out and feels like it could rain ... but that can be misleading.
Yesterday: It sure was a busy day, with so much driving. And it was one of those days where things just kept going wrong. After picking DH up from dialysis, we had an early dinner out - it seemed the best thing to do on a day like that! LOL! After dinner I went in Big Lots for some light bulbs; and when I came out it was pouring!! Of course, it stopped before my house. Maybe today. :) Last night was a do-nothing night until time for bed.
Today: I *allowed* myself to sleep later, so I do feel a bit more rested. Now I'm trying to play catch-up! LOL! I have a lot of things to try to get done today; and I expect the garden will get a bit of attention too. Of course, if we actually do get rain ... scrap that plan and start a new one! LOL!

Today is "Feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola" ... "Anniversary - US Patent Office".

Quotes of the Day:
"Never take the advice of someone who has not had your kind of trouble.
-- Sidney J. Harris

"A writer is a writer not because she writes well and easily, because she has amazing talent, because everything she does is golden. In my view, a writer is a writer because even when there is no hope, even when nothing you do shows any sign of promise, you keep writing anyway."
-- Junot Diaz

"People who are always making allowances for themselves soon go bankrupt."
-- Mary Pettibone Poole
