Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. Lat night we actually got a little bit of rain. Very little, of course; but it's still overcast this morning, and damp. (I went on and ran sprinklers anyway!) It will be lower 90s today, and a *chance* of afternoon storms again.. I do hope for some, to wash the smoky smell from the air!
Yesterday: It was a fairly ordinary dialysis and work day. I ended up deciding against the stop at the grocery store; and also will wait for a bit cooler day (maybe today?) to begin my search upstairs. I settled for some laundry and a small bit of decluttering. :)
Today: Today is an errand day ... several annual items (car inspection, trash sticker) to take care of as well as paying rent, and the ever-elusive groceries! LOL! I hope the rain holds off until we're done; but then, I'd rather drive in it than not get any!
Today is "Take Your Webmaster to Lunch Day" ... "Day of Statehood (Lithuania)" ... "Independence Day (Comoros)" ... "Republic Day (Malawi)".
Quotes of the Day:
"Attempt easy tasks as if they were difficult, and difficult as if they were easy; in the one case that confidence may not fall asleep, in the other that it may not be dismayed."
-- Baltasar Gracian
"In real life, I assure you, there is no such thing as algebra."
-- Fran Lebowitz
"I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship."
-- Louisa May Alcott
