Good Morning! Saturday December 12, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! Well, it's cold and gray - but it's Saturday, and I didn't have to get up early. :) The forecast is for upper 40s and cloudy, and rain by tonight or tomorrow. I do have one outside item I hope to finish today; otherwise, I'll stay in.
Last night we went to a friend's for supper, then rode around to look at lights. We saw lots of amazing homes; but also saw a lot that weren't decorated. Since I start so early, I seem to expect everyone else to also. Oops. LOL!!
Today I got to sleep late! YAY. I have a few errands to run, and "odd jobs" to get out of the way; but mostly, I'm baking this weekend.
There are 12 days left until Christmas!

today is "Chanukah (Jewish)" ... "Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe" ... "International Shareware Day" ... "National Day of the Horse" ... "Poinsettia Day" ... "Constitution Day (Russia)" .... "Guadalupe Day (Mexico)" ... "Neutrality Day (Turkmenistan)".

Quotes of the Day:
"It was such a lovely day I thought it a pity to get up."
-- W. Somerset Maugham

"There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it."
-- Mary Wilson Little
