Good Morning! Thursday December 10, 2009

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning! The forecast says cloudy to start and then sunny; but I can already see brightness beyond the edge of cloud cover. It will be pretty chilly ... upper 40s. But it IS December! LOL! I admit, I wouldn't mind some snow too. But inches .. not feet!! Since that's rare for NC in December, I'll just have to be patient. But I've saved some vacation days ... just in case! :)
Last night I got some laundry done, and a little (very little) bit of decluttering. Tonight I'm going to push myself to get a few more things done, as well as get the weekend lined up. It's looking like I'll be having an "informal" open house. Yay! Time to start baking cookies!! Of course, tonight is also one of my favorite TV nights ... so perhaps lining up some sewing!
There are 14 days left until Christmas!

Today is "Human Rights Day" ... "Nobel Peace Prize Day" ... "UN Human Rights Day" ... "Admission Day (Mississippi)" ... "Constitution Day (Thailand)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Do something every day that you don't want to do; this is the golden rule for acquiring the habit of doing your duty without pain."
-- Mark Twain
