Good Morning! Wednesday December 2, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. The rain is back, it's gray and wet and chilly (might even get storms later) ... but it's December, so it's ok! LOL! I do rather hope it won't rain Saturday (for the Christmas parade, one of the few I'll actually get to go to). It's sort of hard to guess, as the forecasts have been so up and down, and changing almost hourly. Well, it is what it is. :)
I did get laundry done last night, and wrote some overdue letters. But not much else. I'm beginning to think I'll have bare trees this year! LOL! Well, they're up, have some decorations, have lights ... and are pretty. I guess I won't worry over much about the rest, just do what I can. I do need to move on to other things.
There are 22 days left until Christmas!

Today is "Cold Moon" ... "Special Education Day" ... "Special Kids Day" ... "UN International Day for the Abolition of Slavery" ... "National Day (United Arab Emirates)" ... "National Day (Laos)".

Quotes of the Day:
"If the Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me."
-- Jimmy Buffett

"The bird of paradise alights only upon the hand that does not grasp."
-- John Berry
