Good Morning! Wednesday December 9, 2009

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning. There's a "front" moving through, and we're having some very strange weather. This morning it's still a bit cloudy (buckets of rain last night ... my driveway is a moat this morning!), but mild. It'll get way up in the 60s and clear later today ... but we also get more of that strong wind we've had so much of this year. I hope all my outside stuff is secure this time! LOL! I also see on the news that my midwest friends are in for some bad weather - y'all be warm and safe!!
Last night ... I watched Christmas specials on TV. I know, totally lazy. :) Perhaps tonight I'll be more productive. I sure have plenty of things I need to be doing ....
There are 15 days left until Christmas!

Today is "Weary Willie Day" ... "Independence/Republic Day (Tanzania)".

Quotes of the Day:
"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb."
-- Sir Winston Churchill

"I wonder if other dogs think poodles are members of a weird religious cult."
-- Rita Rudner
