Good Morning! Monday March 29, 2010

Good morning! It's a wonderful morning! Be careful what you "wish" for ... wow, is it raining! LOL! Yesterday was very cloudy and windy (though it got much warmer than I expected, into the low 70s), but we kept waiting for the rain. Just after dark we started to get reports of tornado warnings; and then the storms came! High wind, thunder and lightening, and puring rain, all night long! This morning it's still raining steady, though not quite as hard. My driveway is completely under water! The forecast for today is mid-60s, cloudy, possible "scattered storms".
Yesterday turned out to be busy, though not really doing much. I picked up a friend, and we did a lot of "window shopping"; and I bought the apple trees I'd been wanting. It was too windy to even try yesterday, so they'll get planted sometime this week. Not today! LOL! Tonight is business class, and hopefully home in time to see some of Dancing.

Today is "Knights Of Columbus Founders Day" ... "National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day" ... "Texas Love the Children's Day (Tx)" ... "Worm Moon" ... "Commemoration Day (Madagascar)" ... "Youth Day (Taiwan)".

Quotes of the Day:
"I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions."
-- Augusten Burroughs

"If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise."
-- Robert Fritz
