Good Morning! Friday September 24, 2010

Good morning! It's a beautiful morning. There's a bit of mist that will quickly burn off. Today will be mid to upper 90s, sunny, and less humid. It's still a few days before hope of rain. I got almost everything watered last night. If everything can just hang in there a few more days, a break (low 80s!!) is coming.
Last night I did much better than usual. I found a little burst of enthusiasm from somewhere (sure wish I could find it more often! LOL!). Besides the watering, I got 2 loads of laundry completely done, and some sewing progress done. Well, now that I write it down, it doesn't look like all that much. But, 3 of my top favorite shows started a new season last night ... so I got everything done during commercials! LOL!!
Tonight I have to go for groceries after work; and I usually don't get much else done on grocery night. So, hopefully at least I can get to some sewing ... and there are more new shows (and an old favorite moved) tonight to check out. :)

Today is "Family Health and Fitness Day - USA" ... "Fish Amnesty Day" ... "National Hunting and Fishing Day" ... "National One Hit Wonder Day" ... "National Public Lands Day" ... "R.E.A.D. in America Day" ... "Anniversary - 1st Woman Supreme Court Justice" ... "Republic Day (Rwanda)".

Quotes of the Day:
"The older I grow, the less important the comma becomes. Let the reader catch his own breath."
-- Elizabeth Clarkson Zwart

"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much."
-- Oscar Wilde

"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: That word is love."
-- Sophocles

In 1986, the U.S. Congress adopted the rose as the national flower.
